Safety, trust & environment
I currently have one pet of my own - a dove. He lives part time in his cage and part time free-range, so any dogs I take in for boarding would have to do a meet and greet to make sure everyone will be able to peacefully coexist!

Information Annie G. would like to know about your pet
I'm quite accustomed to working with quirky dogs, and I know and expect that each dog may have his or her own preferences and behavioral tics. Please feel free to let me know any little preferences or aversions your pet may have, and I'll be happy to accommodate! I know from fostering and working in a shelter environment that each animal has their own personality and comfort level.
A typical day
I like to approach each pet as an individual. I live near the ocean and there are tons of walking trails nearby. I often like to visit Willard Beach during dog friendly hours. I love to walk and be active, and look forward to taking your dog along for adventures!

Licensed Vet Tech, animal advocate
Pet care experience
I was born and raised with dogs, and animals continue to be a huge part of my life. I have an associates degree in veterinary technology, and am a licensed veterinary technician. I have fostered senior and special needs dogs, volunteered with shelters and rescues, and spent years working in a busy shelter/clinic in NYC. I also have a great love and respect for birds, having fostered many pigeons and doves through my former job at a wildlife center. I have extensive experience with feeding, caring for and medicating several species of animals, but my original and enduring love of dogs and cats is at the heart of what keeps me working in this field. I believe that each animal is an individual who is deserving of love, respect and consideration, and improving the lives of all creatures is my mission!
Reviews
If anyone's a cat lady, it's me — and Annie took wonderful care of Juni. She tended to Juni's every need and communicated clearly throughout. Juni requires two different medications twice a day, and Annie administered them thoroughly and carefully. She was quick to respond and sent frequent pictures and updates, and I also felt I could reach out at any time and Annie would get back to me. Juni was clearly well loved, which allowed me to relax on my vacation. I'm grateful I found Annie on Rover!

Annie is great with our shy dog - very grateful for her patience and care!

Annie did a great job with my dog! His walking needs are variable and she always made sure that even if they took a shorter walk, she spent time with him. I’m really appreciative of her communication and her genuine care for my pet.

My dog loved Annie the minute they met and instantly felt comfortable around her! Annie is very kind, easy and fast to communicate with, and took wonderful care of her when I was away.
