Your dog’s home away from home!
I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since I was a teenager. I love getting outside with them and know that a well walked and properly stimulated dog is also a happy and well behaved dog. I also love taking pictures of them so you can be sure to receive regular updates on your pal. Depending on your dogs diet, I love to get creative with things like meal toppers and stimulating treats (shaved carrots, peanut butter, unsalted bone broth etc.)!

My experience with Rose was a bit of a mixed experience, but mostly positive. She was incredibly responsive and provided frequent, detailed updates throughout Daisy’s stay, which I truly appreciated. It was very reassuring to know what was happening, especially since Daisy has some separation anxiety. We have used Rover for several years. Usually, Daisy settles in well after a day or two with a new sitter, but for some reason, that wasn't the case this time. She seemed to remain anxious for the entire stay, which I imagine was stressful for both Rose and Daisy. While Rose did her best to keep me informed, it was clear that Daisy just didn't quite get comfortable. Overall, Rose is a fantastic communicator and clearly dedicated, but it just wasn't the right fit for Daisy’s needs this time around.
Rose made our Buddy feel right at home, he had a great time playing with his new friend while we were out on a whale watching cruise. We really appreciated the updates and photos while in her care. We would highly recommend her services!
Rose took great care of our pup and had a lot of patience with her anxiety being at a new place! Rose sent tons of pics and updates, which we loved!

I work from home so pet sitting allows me to have a buddy for my walks and be attentive to the dog in my care :)

Safety, trust & environment
For boarding, your dog will have a designated area for their bed/crate where they can hang. Pets are welcome on furniture, but I’m happy to abide by whatever rules you have at home for consistency.
A typical day
I love taking dogs to Portland Headlight to experience the sea breeze and off the peninsula to Cumberland to visit my family on the weekends. If your dog can be off leash, my favorite spot is Willard Beach where they can run around, take in all the scents and play with a trusted community of other dogs.

- Please let me know if your dog has any trouble with stairs, city noises or has a tendency to bark when left home alone so we can plan accordingly. I live on the second floor of an apartment building and have neighbors that use the same general entrance so outside noise will occur on occasion. I also have a large bay window visible to the street. While it’s not super busy, we do have frequent delivery trucks and pedestrians coming by. Please consider if you think any of these things will create an overstimulating environment for your dog before booking.
