About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had three dogs and two cats over the years. I’m currently raising a golden retriever puppy with my family and absolutely love spending time with dogs. Friends have always trusted me to watch their pets while they’re out of town because they know I treat every animal like family. I’m the kind of person who stops people on the street just to ask if I can pet their dog. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to give your pets the attention, care, walks, and love they deserve. I care for every pet like my own, always putting their safety, comfort, and happiness first. I stay alert on walks, careful around other dogs, people, traffic, and our surroundings to make sure pets feel safe and secure at all times. I also have a fenced yard for safe play and experience caring for and crate training puppies since I currently have 2 dogs.

About: My super strength as a pet caregiver, is my interest in getting to know an animal's personality and working mindfully and respectfully with their nature. I prioritize safety, trust and attention. I've taught young children and raised kittens, puppies and chickens over the last twenty years. About: I have cared for dogs and cats for most of my life. I have experience walking multiple dogs around my neighborhood, and staying overnight with dogs to provide 24 hour care. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and love getting to know each unique personality. I have cared for households of up to 6 cats and am well versed in tending to all their needs, including administering medications. I think the best way to succeed as a sitter is to take time to understand the animal and establish trust! I have complete availability this summer and can care for animals days and nights, seven days a week! I am open to working with multiple pets each day depending on their needs. I have two cats at home which are primarily indoor. I have experience walking dogs on and off leash. While I don’t have a fenced in yard at home, I would love to bring your pups to a dog park or play with them in your backyard. About: In the past, I had a Rottweiler German Shepherd mix who was 100lbs. His name was Huckleberry. I loved taking him on walks, grooming/brushing him, and giving him lots of pets. My friends also hired me to take care of their dogs who ranged in different breeds and sizes. I also love taking pictures of all animals. You're sure to get some pretty pictures of your pooch! I am currently working part-time at The Maine Mall and have some free time to help out as much of the Portland dog loving community as possible. Dogs make me happy and feel good about what I do! I make sure your pet(s) are cared for by giving them plenty of water on walks, making sure they are not acting out of the norm (panting heavily/having heat exhaustion). I was working at a veterinary hospital in Chicagoland, so I feel confident at making sure your dog is well taken care of, kept hydrated, fed well, and that all the normal everyday tasks (peeing, pooping, breathing) are being well monitored. I will also send pictures/videos if I suspect something is not right/concerning. I hope to take care of your cute pooch soon!

“I definitely recommend Catey, particularly if your quadrupedal babes tend toward anxiety or need confident medication administration. This is the first sitter I've ever hired who wasn't already familiar with my cats and our home. I was nervous because of my boys needs medicated eye drops every 12 hours, which isn't his favorite thing by far, and he also generally takes a while to get comfortable with new people. Catey's super calm and solid demeanor was evident from the get-go, and this helped my boy a lot. Meds went off without a problem. Everything that needed doing for both cats was done, and my boys were chill as can be when I returned home. Catey was also super communicative and seemed like a solid, kind person in general. I couldn't ask for more from a sitter!”

About: I love animals and have been around dogs my whole life helping friends and family. I’ve helped with my brothers lab since he was a little puppy 2 years ago, dog sitting, training, and walking him and now my girlfriend and I have a chocolate lab of our own named Ivy! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m starting with dog walking and check-ins and plan on taking on more as time goes on. My schedule is currently very flexible though a prefer to plan my days out at least 1 day ahead of time. I plan on only coming to your location to dog walk or check-in on your pet and will follow your tips and rules. I will be respectful of your space if I am dropping in while you’re not home and keep your pets as safe as possible.

About: I have had and lived with dogs for at least ten years. I feel that I have encountered most situations that a dog may get into. I am currently working full time during the week. I like to go for walks and find it more enjoyable with canine company. Dogs and I typically mutually like one another. I am kind and give attention to dogs. Generally I don't give them lots of treats and try to keep a regular schedule for them.

About: My pet care experience began when I was a child. Grew up having dogs and other pets in the house. It was the norm for me. That is until college came about and then moved to a large city. Having a pet wasn't viable during those years. This pattern broke when I found myself being asked to house sit for friends that I was also being asked to hang out with their pets while they were gone. I soon began to be a go to person for a few close friends to babysit their pets and plants. The skills that I have with pets are being able to understand them with body language. Hence the nick name dog whisperer. I am currently working part time and have Wednesdays and Thursdays, including the weekend available. Any time of the day of those specifically are perfectly feasible to accommodate care from me. I follow the diet guidelines given to me and don't alter from it. Outside of that, I make sure they are treated with love and attention throughout my time with them. Walks, play time, relax time...it all has a moment through within the day.
