About: I have always loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid! I have been around dogs since I was little and I live with a cat now! I would adore taking your furry friend for a walk or checking up on your cat when you are away. I am currently trying to fit dog walking into my schedule in the mornings before my job starts (STARTING IN MAY). I can also check up on your furry friend in the evening. I am also building my online business so days I am not at my other job are more flexible! I am very good at directions and pay attention to details. I will follow the directions left by the owners when doing a check in! I listen to the pet, and if they are not so sure of me, I let them come to me (especially with cats!) And of course there will be lots of pets!

About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I've also fostered dogs, which has given me experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines with patience and consistency. I'm very active and enjoy long walks, so I'm well-suited for dogs that need regular exercise and engagement. I'm also highly detail-oriented and organized, so I closely follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any specific care routines your dog needs. Professionally, I work as a program coordinator in a day program serving adults with special needs. This role has strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and ability to stay calm, attentive, and responsive in all situations. You can expect clear updates, consistency, and a high level of care every time I'm with your dog! My work schedule is 7am-2:30/3pm Mon-Fri in Portland. I’m an early riser and can do early walks or afternoon/evening walks! I’m unable to care for dogs at my current residence unfortunately but I’m very trustworthy and respectful of other people’s homes! As a previous dog owner, I know the importance of routine and familiarity and have found that dogs are much more comfortable staying in their environment when their human(s) are away than they are staying in a new place. I strive to help them maintain that routine and comfort!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! I work nearly full-time as a server at a restaurant, so Wednesday to Saturday night I’m unavailable for somewhere between 6-9 hours on those days. When I have my off days I’m usually at home or out for a walk. I’m usually efficient with my errands and have extensive free time on off days. My apartment is a one bedroom, so if I’m not playing around the apartment with the pet, I’d want to bring them on a walk or to the park. I have a very comfortable bedroom conducive to nap time, and I live in the heart of Old Port. Whenever I am with pets in my house I am always looking to set up a cozy space for them to relax with blankets, pillows, their favorite toys. I try to make them feel like a proper guest in my home like anyone else. My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.

About: I am a true animal lover. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but also lived with cats, medium dogs, even the largest dogs (I used to have a St. Bernard so I’ve seen it all.) I’m hoping to get some extra walkies in with new fur friends here and there. Or maybe check up on your fur baby while you’re at work or out of town. I treat all animals like my own and will respect them just like I do with my own sensitive girl. I have to give my dog her oral meds on a strict schedule every day and check her for side effects throughout the day, such as bruising, thirst, blood in the stool… I monitor her daily for all of this as well as giving her outside time every couple of hours to run, play ball or tug-of-war, and then end of day walkies. I definitely have her built into my every day routine. I plan my weeks around her appointments and pill times. My top most consideration is always what does my pet need and what do they expect of me for their unique day-to-day? Do they like to snuggle or do they want to run outside? I like to consider what the specific pet needs out of me and accommodate. My girl is very anxious and high energy so she needs lots of running time, but she also loves her night time cuddles before bed. I will care for pets the way they need me and that’s on their terms because they’re all different.

“I definitely recommend Catey, particularly if your quadrupedal babes tend toward anxiety or need confident medication administration. This is the first sitter I've ever hired who wasn't already familiar with my cats and our home. I was nervous because of my boys needs medicated eye drops every 12 hours, which isn't his favorite thing by far, and he also generally takes a while to get comfortable with new people. Catey's super calm and solid demeanor was evident from the get-go, and this helped my boy a lot. Meds went off without a problem. Everything that needed doing for both cats was done, and my boys were chill as can be when I returned home. Catey was also super communicative and seemed like a solid, kind person in general. Jason (Ilan) is permanently work from home, so there is always someone home with your baby! We have had 13 foster dogs ranging from small puppies to super seniors. We are able to provide medical care including medications, injections, and breathing treatments! Our home is empty without our own doggies, we so are so excited to give yours all the love! While Claudia works full time out of the house, Jason (Ilan) works from home full time! Your baby will rarely be home alone, if at all! We can easily crate your dog if you would like and have cameras with motion detection in each room so we can ensure your pup is safe. We provide daily updates on your dog so you can know they are doing well. We are experienced handlers who are fear free certified. We are prepared for anything that might happen!
