About: I am a true animal lover. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but also lived with cats, medium dogs, even the largest dogs (I used to have a St. Bernard so I’ve seen it all.) I’m hoping to get some extra walkies in with new fur friends here and there. Or maybe check up on your fur baby while you’re at work or out of town. I treat all animals like my own and will respect them just like I do with my own sensitive girl. I have to give my dog her oral meds on a strict schedule every day and check her for side effects throughout the day, such as bruising, thirst, blood in the stool… I monitor her daily for all of this as well as giving her outside time every couple of hours to run, play ball or tug-of-war, and then end of day walkies. I definitely have her built into my every day routine. I plan my weeks around her appointments and pill times. My top most consideration is always what does my pet need and what do they expect of me for their unique day-to-day? Do they like to snuggle or do they want to run outside? I like to consider what the specific pet needs out of me and accommodate. My girl is very anxious and high energy so she needs lots of running time, but she also loves her night time cuddles before bed. I will care for pets the way they need me and that’s on their terms because they’re all different.

About: I have been taking care of cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish for as long as I can remember. Family and friends trust me to look after and care for their pets while they’re away. This includes feeding, walking, play with, and bathing. My schedule varies and is flexible. I am able to walk and care for your pet(s) in the morning and evening, and often times mid day. I am comfortable looking after your furry friends in your home. I can stop by for a visit or stay the night with them, whatever you would prefer.

About: Hi there! We’re Amanda and Austen, a couple based in Scarborough with a dog of our own (our Mini Aussie, Mazie) and a lot of love to share with yours. When Amanda’s not caring for her sweet group of five-year-olds or Austen’s not out playing tennis, we’re spending time with Mazie, chasing seagulls at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or snuggling up on the couch after a snowy play session. We love active days just as much as laid-back ones, and we’re happy to match whatever energy your pup brings. We both grew up in homes with animals- at one point, Amanda had five dogs and a cat! We have cared for dogs of all breeds and energy levels, from teacup-size rescues to large-breed couch potatoes, plus plenty of other animals over the years (including Sparkles the Bearded Dragon, Amanda’s current classroom pet). We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced-in backyard that dogs love to explore. Austen works from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day, and we share responsibilities depending on the care your pet needs. Whether it’s a weekend adventure, daily daycare, or a cozy overnight stay, we’re here to make your dog feel happy, safe, and loved. We offer care throughout the week and are happy to accommodate weekends, holidays, and special requests as our schedule allows. Austen works from home and provides consistent weekday care and supervision, while Amanda handles most weekend walks, drop-ins, and house sitting when needed. Between the two of us, your pet will never go long without company, playtime, or a potty break. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute trip, we’ll work with you to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. Our day care rate is based on an 8 hour day. We're happy to have your dog with us for longer, but we may ask for an additional fee based on the number of hours. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. That’s why we always begin with a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with us, and you’re confident in the care we provide. We take a gentle, respectful approach, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and we’ll always ask for your guidance on what makes your pup feel safe and secure. Whether we’re in your home or ours, we want to provide a low-stress, enriching environment with plenty of attention, structure, and love. We’re also happy to provide regular updates (with photos!) and check-ins during every visit or stay, so you’re always in the loop - because we’d want the same from someone watching Mazie.

“Sera was amazing!! She watched my cat for three weeks while I was on vacation, she was very thoughtful and attentive and my cat loved her! About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, so that’s 25 years of loving animals, but just 11 years as the sole caregiver of my own. From Labradors to Chihuahuas, to Police K-9s, I’ve loved them all, though I’m currently a cat lady. For the first time in my life, I don’t have any dogs at the moment, as I don’t feel like I have enough space for it to be fair to them. So this is how I get my dog fix, and my steps in at the same time 🤭. I currently have 2 cats and 1 hedgehog, I’m a sucker for an exotic pet. I’ve also had 4 snakes in the past (my husband is terrified or else I’d have some right now). One of my cats is leash trained, and one has some medical needs, so I’m familiar with oral medication administration as well. I do work full-time during the week, so I am only available after 5pm. Sometimes I’m able to step away for breaks as I work from home 3 days per week, but my work is pretty irregular, so afternoons and evenings are the best bet for my availability. I live in a relatively small condo, so I don’t have much space. As much as I would love to offer boarding, I don’t think it would be fair to your pet, as I also do not have a yard. BUT I’m more than happy to stop by your home and fulfill any requests!

About: I'm a lifelong dog owner and have enjoyed the experience of teaching my daughters the joys and responsibilities of caring for our dogs. As lead parent, I've been passionate about opting for daily outdoor adventures with my daughters and dogs and have often heard, "Boy, you have your hands full!", to which I have always replied, "I need to keep everybody happy somehow." Romps on the beach or marsh, trail running, and biking or rollerblading the Eastern Trail are just a few of our favorites. Over the past few years, we've said goodbye to our beloved Boss and Kona. We're still craving dog energy around our home and outdoor adventures, and want to assist other families in the Scarborough community to achieve "a tired dog, a happy dog" experience that we've known and love. We feel blessed to have a doggy daycare buddy, Finnegan, with us most weekdays and he is dog friendly. I work from home while my daughters are in school and am off with them during the summer months. We are available to care for your dog throughout the day and evening, and love boarding dogs for overnights. Summer hours are very flexible for walks. During the school year we can walk your dog weekdays after 3:30PM; or as scheduled outside of those hours upon request. My Mondays and Fridays tend to be light on my primary work and I carve out time for doggy adventures and exercise. We can accommodate based on your needs and recommendations specific for your dog(s). Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral issues beforehand. If any medication needs to be administered, I'd be glad to assist.
