“My cat was unexpectedly sassy with Stacey and she handled it wonderfully, giving her space and being able to read her body language. She kept me updated about how she was doing and her care throughout the week. Highly recommend her as a sitter!!! Would book her again:)”

“Jayson did such a great job checking in on our cat for the week we were gone. He provided thorough updates and it was obvious he cared about her well-being. We feel very lucky to have found him to watch her and will absolutely try to book him again when we are away in the future.”

“Melissa took wonderful care of my very energetic kitty Loki! She made sure he stayed active and had lots of playtime while I was away. It was obvious from her photos that he loved his time with her!”

“Nishat was fantastic! One of our cats needs a lot of extra attention due to his allergies and asthma, and Nishat was so patient and went above and beyond taking care of him and our other two cats! She sent a lot of pictures throughout our trip, getting snapshots of each of our babies daily. This made it so we could enjoy our time away without worrying about how they were faring at home — we knew for certain that they were in good hands. We would definitely book with Nishat again!!”

“Great sitter for my 3 cats. Amazing attention to detail, excellent communication, and goes above and beyond. I will definitely be relying on Abby whenever I go out of town. Thank you for everything!”

“Katey is lovely and responsible and I knew my kitty cat was in good hands. It is wonderful to be able to travel and not worry about my kitty. Katey takes lots of sweet photos too. Thank you Katey!”

About: Thank you for checking out my rover profile! My name is Emma! I have a huge passion for animals and have experience working in doggy daycare! I love breeds of all sizes and shapes and use Pawsitive reinforcement training. I’m always very adaptable base on each individual animal. I’m always prepared for treats unless they’re provided. I look forward to meeting your pets and will treat them like they are my own. Please reaching out for additional information ! My schedule is flexible since I currently work part-time, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I’m available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 9am–3pm, as well as Friday afternoons. This schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and care during visits or house sitting. I always do my best to work with each owner’s routine so their pet’s day stays as normal and comfortable as possible. I believe every pet deserves care that’s tailored just for them. I use positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of encouragement to help pets feel safe, confident, and happy. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so I can adapt my care to what they need—whether that’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or maintaining training cues. I’m also happy to house sit in your home so your pet can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: Enjoy your vacation with the peace of mind you deserve, knowing your pet is in the best hands. While some sitters provide the basics, I give your pet the care, attention, and love they’d get from family. I've loved animals my whole life and have cared for a wide range: cats, dogs, rabbits, iguanas, rats, and ferrets. I’ve pet-sat extensively for friends, family, coworkers, and now a growing number of delighted Rover clients. As a cat mom myself (raised mine from a kitten!), I deeply understand how hard it is to leave your pet behind. That’s why I go the extra mile to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally at ease while you're away. You’ll get daily updates, lots of photos, and care that’s as close to home as possible. Whether it’s trail walks, fetch marathons, snuggles in bed, or sticking to every detail of their routine, I treat your pet like family. Housesitting Your home and pets are in safe, respectful hands. I’ll follow your instructions closely and leave your home cleaner than I found it. Boarding I am currently on hiatus from taking boarding clients. Boarding is my preferred option, and I offer it at a lower rate. My apartment is a sunny, open-concept space on the first floor where dogs have access to the entire home. There is plenty of room to lounge on the couch or bask in the sun. My building also includes a private park, perfect for playtime right outside the door. I usually only accept one dog at a time, meaning your dog will have my complete focus! Come tour during the meet & greet! I do have a cat. While I can separate her, I ask that any boarding dogs are calm and experienced around cats. Extras If your dog enjoys car rides, let me know. I’d love to take them on trails when I can. My schedule fluctuates day to day, so check in whether we'll be a match! Generally, your pet needs to be comfortable with being left for a regular 8-hour work day, but not a moment more. I will be rushing home to take them on a long walk and cuddle up on the couch. I will follow all your routines, ensuring the pet has consistent and predictable care. I also love sending you photos and anecdotes about their day. I want you to rest assured that I will learn the ins and outs of your pet and their care and step up to the plate!
“Muriel was excellent! She took extra time and care to make sure each of our three cats was eating well despite them being prone to hiding/being shy. We got pictures every day and felt at ease with them in her care!”

South Portland Gardens cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sera was amazing!! She watched my cat for three weeks while I was on vacation, she was very thoughtful and attentive and my cat loved her! She always sent lots of cute pictures and updates for each visit, which I really appreciated. My cat has asthma and needs an inhaler and Sera was very open to and did a great job learning how to give the inhaler! She left my apartment very neat and I came back to a happy cat, would absolutely recommend Sera as a cat sitter!!

Haley did a great job taking care of our babies while we were out of town. She gives great, very detailed reports of activities and Cat-titudes, and can handle meds and over the top instructions with ease. We can always reach her when we’re gone and she’s super responsive and friendly.
