I’ve always loved caring for animals—not just my own, but also for neighbors, friends, and clients. I specialize in dog care, including sitting, boarding, walking, and daycare, and I also offer care for cats. I have experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments and love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I’m conveniently located right by the hospitals in Portland, making it easy for healthcare workers to drop off and pick up their pups. I know how demanding and unpredictable those shifts can be, so I’m happy to accommodate unusual schedules, longer days, and last-minute needs whenever possible. Whether we’re out for a walk, playing in the yard, or snuggling on the couch, I make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. I’m active and confident with animals, providing the perfect balance of structure, play, and affection. I currently work full-time from home, so I’m available throughout the weekdays and evenings to offer consistent care and regular potty breaks. I always keep a clean, safe environment and like to make a plan ahead of time to ensure your pet’s stay goes smoothly. My little Cavachon, Zuni, is friendly and loves meeting new dogs—we’d both love to welcome your pup into our home! I’m also happy to care for cats with home visits that include feeding, playtime, and cuddles. Daycare clients – I totally understand the chaos of busy schedules and long days! Just a quick note that I do charge $5/hour for care beyond 8 hours. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Katy was awesome with my dog Roger! I would definitely book with her again. My little guy has a few quirks being a rescue and can be slow to trust. Katy was able to quickly win his trust and leash/walk him without difficulty. She kindly sent me updates throughout the day to let me know how he was doing which was very much appreciated. In addition, she met with Roger and I at her house the day before to ensure that Roger would be comfortable with her and her dog before the booking. All in all, she went above and beyond to ensure that my dog was well taken care of and comfortable. Excellent! :)

I work from home full-time (9–5), so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks, playtime, and regular potty breaks. We usually get out for a few shorter walks plus a longer one in the afternoon, and I also have a fully fenced yard. On nice days, I love sitting out on the deck with the doggies to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is a top priority in my home. Since I have my own dog, my space is already very dog-proofed and set up with pets in mind. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play securely, and I always supervise outdoor time. I use baby gates as needed to create safe, separate spaces and help maintain a calm environment. During mealtimes, I separate dogs to prevent any food-related issues. I strive to provide a clean, peaceful, and comfortable space where every dog feels safe, happy, and at home.

A typical day
I A typical day with me includes a mix of movement, fresh air, and plenty of cozy downtime. We usually start the morning with a walk around the neighborhood, followed by several short walks or potty breaks throughout the day. I work from home at my desk with comfy dog beds right at my feet, so your pup will never be far from attention, snuggles, or a quick game of tug. If the weather’s nice, we’ll head out in the evening for a longer park walk—sometimes even to parks with ponds for a splash on hot days! I love mixing in hikes, city walks, or quiet nature spots depending on what your pup enjoys. And of course, there’s always time to curl up on the couch for some snuggles. Whether your dog is playful, mellow, or somewhere in between, I tailor the day to make them feel happy, relaxed, and loved.
