About: Thank you for checking out my rover profile! My name is Emma! I have a huge passion for animals and have experience working in doggy daycare! I love breeds of all sizes and shapes and use Pawsitive reinforcement training. I’m always very adaptable base on each individual animal. I’m always prepared for treats unless they’re provided. My schedule is flexible since I currently work part-time, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. I’m available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 9am–3pm, as well as Friday afternoons. This schedule allows me to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and care during visits or house sitting. I always do my best to work with each owner’s routine so their pet’s day stays as normal and comfortable as possible. I believe every pet deserves care that’s tailored just for them. I use positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of encouragement to help pets feel safe, confident, and happy. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so I can adapt my care to what they need—whether that’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or maintaining training cues. I’m also happy to house sit in your home so your pet can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs at all stages of life. My experience ranges from young pets to senior care. It’s been an honor. I work part-time from home and have a flexible schedule. I live in close proximity to multiple Portland Trails and our home fronts the Fore River and boarders a sanctuary. I have a fenced yard and a friendly Yellow Lab named Uma, who lives for her next play date. She is respectful of senior dogs and puppies too. There’s lots of room to run around and play.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: I love animals with my whole heart. I’ve had a sweet dog of my own for the past 10 years whom is truly my best friend. Other than my own, I’ve taken care of pets for friends & family for as long as I can remember. My relationship with animals on a whole is a special one for I respect them & am interested in what their behavior is trying to convey to us humans. I have previous volunteer experience at Antler Ridge Wildlife sanctuary in NJ, as well as previous experience in a VCA animal hospital as a tech assistant. I’m responsible, dependable, & very compassionate. I have a deep love for animals & aspire to one day have a nonprofit animal rescue. If your animal is with me, I will treat them with kindness. I know what it’s like to have to work long days away from our furry family members, personally it stresses me out. I would love to be able to ease that feeling of worry or guilt for you & be there to give your dog or cat some love! My schedule at the moment is a little all over the place. Typically every other week I have time off & can offer daily walks, & drop ins. Weekends I can typically do walks & drop ins as well. Mornings, afternoons, & evenings work when I have time off. I don’t have a fenced in yard & don’t plan to board your animals at my home. But when they are in my care at your home or on a walk I will make sure they are always safe. I’ll always check in with you before caring for your animal to see what sorts of situations may be stressful for them/ what their personal restrictions are. If anything ever seems off with your pet when I see them I will notify you immediately. Clear communication is key for safety!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will make sure to follow whatever schedule you have for them. I will take them out to play often and give them lots of love.
