About: I am a true animal lover. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but also lived with cats, medium dogs, even the largest dogs (I used to have a St. Bernard so I’ve seen it all.) I’m hoping to get some extra walkies in with new fur friends here and there. Or maybe check up on your fur baby while you’re at work or out of town. I treat all animals like my own and will respect them just like I do with my own sensitive girl. I have to give my dog her oral meds on a strict schedule every day and check her for side effects throughout the day, such as bruising, thirst, blood in the stool… I monitor her daily for all of this as well as giving her outside time every couple of hours to run, play ball or tug-of-war, and then end of day walkies. I definitely have her built into my every day routine. I plan my weeks around her appointments and pill times. My top most consideration is always what does my pet need and what do they expect of me for their unique day-to-day? Do they like to snuggle or do they want to run outside? I like to consider what the specific pet needs out of me and accommodate. My girl is very anxious and high energy so she needs lots of running time, but she also loves her night time cuddles before bed. I will care for pets the way they need me and that’s on their terms because they’re all different.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: I have been a loving dog owner since I was born and the type of person you will always find petting various animals. I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was nearly 10 years old and love every minute of it! I currently work three long days a week at the hospital, which are different each week, which, for the most part means I’m only available for your animals on my days off. Special exceptions may be worked out during overnight stays where I have time before and after work. On the plus side, my days off are very flexible! As per your preferences and the animal’s specificities, I would make sure to keep up their daily routines as well as keep them fed, watered, clean, and happy!

About: I have a dog of my own and have been dog sitting for friends for years. I’m not afraid to give meds and clean up messes. More than happy to help :) Unfortunately , I’m currently working part time Door Dashing and as a traveling hairstylist and need to make more money. I’ve definitely got time to help :) My dog gets a daily allergy pill in the morning before his 10min walk. I clean his ears once a week … unfortunately, he’s prone to ear infections so I have to keep a close eye on them.

I am a fire door inspector and repairman which takes up my week days, but guarantees my availability every Saturday and Sunday to provide fulltime care for pets. I live in an 800 sq/ft apartment with my cat Max that has a back porch and yard. It is able to accommodate 2 medium/small dogs or 1 large dog. My cat has lived with a large variety of dogs throughout her life and is calm and friendly towards them. Each dog under my care is treated with love and my absolute attention. Their Saftey and discipline will be ensured with positive reinforcement only. I am also willing and ready to travel to any clients home to care for your pets where they will be most comfortable.

About: Hi my name is Maria and I am an avid animal lover. I have an 80 pound lab right now, and have had several well loved cats in the past. I enjoy walking pets, giving them lots of cuddles and treats for good behavior, and lots of pets! I am a school nurse by trade, so I am available during the week after 3pm. I am also available most holidays, weekends, and during summer vacation. I have selected a radius small enough so that I can guarantee I will have enough time to spend some quality time with your animal. I will happily come to your house and spend quality time with your animal, whether that means lots of belly rubs, treats, a walk, or just some cuddles. I do have a house in South Portland with an enclosed, fenced in yard and a sweet, older yellow lab to keep company... let's get to know each other and see if we are a good fit!

About: I’m an animal lover, and if you look at my photos, you’ll see that I am always finding ways to be around animals, whether they’re dogs, cats, birds, goats, opossums, you name it. I owned a German Shepherd rescue, Ada, for 12 years— we learned so much together. She taught me how to really care for another creature and to be patient and compassionate. She had some behavioral issues from her early trauma, so we did a lot of work together to make her feel safe, confident, and loved. Since she passed, I haven’t been ready to get another dog, but am craving more time with animals. I also walk everyday for about an hour, and I’d love to have company! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Right now I'm primarily only focused on providing dog services outside of my own home, since my apartment is pretty small, including dog walking or checking in on dogs during the day. I work full-time from home and have a very flexible daily schedule. I can make most times work for a dog walking or drop-in visits. I’m a very detailed oriented, conscientious, intuitive pet caretaker. I treat animals with respect and try to respect their own autonomy, while also maintaining a safe environment for both of us.
