About: They/them pronouns; unfortunately for health reasons I can only work with non-smoking households. We can negotiate, if smoking is only ever done outside. I sometimes work with my spouse, especially if there's more than one dog in the home or you'd like me to stay overnight (this is for my safety), to make it even easier for your pet to receive the walks and attention they need. I will bring this up when we talk, giving you an opportunity to let me know if you're okay with us working as a duo or not. I have never lived in a home without dogs or cats for more than a year. Furry friends are vital to me and I understand how wonderful and magical it is to have each unique pet in our lives. I have 10+ years of daily cat care experience, and 15+ of daily dog care experience. Additionally, I have previous employment history working directly with puppies under 6 months of age, and playing with and doing basic training for dogs in need of plentiful stimulation. My own cats have sensitivities and quirks that require special care, and I'm ready and qualified to listen to and adhere to your loved one's unique care needs. I also have experience with senior dogs and love to work with them! <3 At this time I am able to devote my full day/night into looking after your pet! Every day my spouse and I work from home and care for our cats. I am able therefore to give your pets the same VIP attention and care throughout the day, any day of the week. The only exception is that sometimes I have 2-3 hour as-needed work outside my home to meet client demands. When this happens, I know in advance and will be able to communicate with you clearly if I can't be with your pet 24/7 on a specific day before we commit to anything. For me, the biggest concern is your pet's safety and comfort. I keep a watchful eye on all pets in my care to ensure I know where they are and what they're doing, and I keep their environments free of debris and hazards. I also want to make sure all toys used are approved by you, so there's nothing unexpected. Food will be given exactly as instructed, and I treat health conditions and unique needs and concerns for your pet with the utmost responsibility. I also will treat your home with respect and leave things as I find them. Your instructions and preferences will be followed to a T.

About: I have recently lost my 14.5 year old husky who enjoyed walks every day and all the Rover dogs that stayed with us in the past with Rover boarding. I have recently added service to stay in the pet owners home as well. I love the responsibility of caring for, feeding, cleaning up after and watching dogs socialize and simply enjoy life. One of the most memorable experiences of my childhood is when our golden retriever had 11 puppies. When they were several weeks old, my Mom agreed to bring in one or two for show and tell to my fourth grade class. She couldn't decide which ones to bring and much to my surprise (as well as my classmates), she brought in all 11! I'd love to care for your pet! I work full time during the week primarily remotely. My weekends are for the most part dedicated to caring for various pets. I have lots of love and attention to give to your pet. I have several years of Rover boarding experience and have recently added service to care for pets in their own homes as well. About: Hi everyone, my name is Alex, I am a 23-year-old college student playing for the Saint Josephs College of Maine men's soccer team. I grew up in southern Maine with my parents and brother and we have never not had a dog in the house. When I was born we had Duncan and Seneca, in fifth grade we got Mac, who was a lot of my responsibility until I left for college. Waking up to let him out, feed him, clean up after him, exercise and training. You name it and I have done it, I take huge pride in the way I treat animals and learning to live with them my entire life has given me a huge sense of love and responsibility towards pets. I started to watch my neighbors dogs and cats at around 12 years old and have wished I could do it for an actual job ever since. I am in school currently studying Health and Wellness, and playing as much soccer as I can. Because of these commitents I am very organized and a clear communicator, these are two of my strengths so please always feel free to reach out and see when I'm available. I am able to commute to school from wherever as long as its within the proper time frame. Very good at following specific instructions for dogs, very fit lifestyle allows me to give dogs plenty of exercise if need be. I have trained and walked many dogs off lease and on, very comfortable with all harnesses, collars and electric fence options. Comfortable crating dog if need be, comfortable cleaning and cleaning up after pets.

I’ve helped care for family pets, watched neighbors’ dogs, and always been the go-to sitter for friends when they’re away. I work as a CNA as my second job, but am looking for more to do with my passion for animals over the summer! Mornings are best as I work 3-11 most days. However this schedule is not set and am still open for nights or a series of days! When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to maintain their usual routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I’m respectful of your space, and I always leave things just as I found them. I’ll follow all care instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications and crate time and make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you're gone.
