About: I grew up with a Maine Coon and currently have 2 cats of my own. I got my first cat at 15 that I have been the sole caregiver of since then. She’s 11 now and has some medical needs, so I’m familiar with oral medication administration as well as senior care. I got my second cat in 2020 as a rescue when he was still a kitten. About: I grew up with a multitude of dogs ranging from chiuauha mix to English mastiff - we never had less than 2 at a time. Now as an adult I have a beautiful Golden who I trained myself (potty, crate, clicker, leash,play), and I couldn't be more happy! Daisy was in daycare in the beginning since I was still working in office so she's been around a lot of dogs ranging in size. We've also added a maltipoo named Frankie to the house. Crate trained and she likes to sit, but boy is she stubborn. She's well mannered though and for those rare instances she's not, she's significantly easier to just pick up compared to Daisy. As for cats, I grew up with a lot but the most at once was 3 which including my gorgeous Bella. She's a senior now but still has a bunch of energy for when she wants to play. She's a good mix of put you in your place and just wants to be loved, I definitely lucked out with her attitude/personality. We have some toys and all the furniture is approved by her so your lil feline will never be in want of a bed or playtime. I walk the girls about 2 miles a day with lots of playtime in the house. Depending on what you need I could add yours to our walk or play, or I don't have a job at the moment so I'm free for the remaining time. For house sitting I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave. I’ll make sure you fur baby gets all the love and attention to make up for you not being there. Lots of love, treats, and positive reinforcement. If at my home there will be lots of pets, play, and attention. If any dogs get overwhelmed then there are many doors to separate if needed, as well as my dogs have crates.

“After our meet & greet, Shorty was so happy to go back to Vicky & Bobby's, he couldn't wait to get out of the car. They have a great house & awesome back yard perfect for dogs. Their dogs Magic & Brooklyn were great with Shorty, & he sometimes has problems with new dogs. Vicky sent me great pics every & really put my mind at ease, seeing Shorty livin the doggy life. Vicky even brought Shorty to work with her at the pet hospital where she works & I know he loved that. Travis, Bobby's brother was also really great & Shorty warmed up to him right away. Shorty is used to sleeping on the bed & they allowed that, and also figured out something yummy for him to eat when he wouldn't. About: I have taken care of 25+ dogs and cats in the past 3 years, to include in home/overnight pet- and house-sitting, dog walking, brushing, litter box maintenance and pill-based medication administration. When taking care of other people’s pets, I provide the attention and care that I was seeking for my own cat and dog (who, sadly, are no longer with me.) My top priority is the safety of the pet, and to that end, I take no risks with the animals in my care – food protocols are carefully followed, walks are always on leash and doors are carefully monitored to ensure indoor cats remain indoors. With my pet care services, you will have: • Happy, safe and well-cared-for pets • A clean and orderly (tidy) home • Clear and timely communication • Regular and frequent updates (with photos and videos of your pets) • Reliable and dependable pet and home care As a recently-retired educator, I have a very flexible schedule, with plenty of time for your pets. I am available for daily walks, overnight or weekend house sits (your house or mine) and vacation sits (1-4 weeks is typical). When starting a new relationship with a client and their pet(s), I schedule a brief ‘pop over’ appointment where I can meet the animal(s) in the presence of their humans. This helps everyone involved – pets and humans – get to know me and feel comfortable with me before I take on the responsibility for the pet. I take care to be calm around the pets I sit - I let both cats and dogs take their time to warm up to me (come to me when they are ready, sniff my hands, my person, my things). I am careful when feeding animals - particularly dogs - giving them space. I follow the pet's routine - if they sleep on the bed, I let them sleep on the bed; if they like to go in and out frequently, I let them go in and out frequently. I try to make them as comfortable as I can, in their human's absence.
