About: Since childhood, I have been the go-to person for friends and family to walk, feed, and bathe their pets when they are away. I am comfortable with various breeds and energy levels, and I treat every animal as if they were my own I am currently in college, so my schedule is super flexible during the week, and I am available almost every weekend! This allows me to dedicate plenty of quality time to playing with, walking, and caring for your pets whenever you need a hand :) When caring for pets in a client's home, I prioritize maintaining their existing routine to reduce stress. I provide detailed updates, ensure they are fed on time, and always double-check that all doors and gates are securely locked before leaving.

About: I grew up in Oklahoma on 90 acres with cows, horses, cats, and dogs. I've always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. One of the unique experiences I offer is adventure outings for your pup. Living near the beach allows me to provide refreshing beach walks, and as an avid hiker, I also enjoy taking dogs on scenic trail adventures where they can safely explore and enjoy nature. “Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: My family has been fostering dogs with a local rescue for about 5 years. Over the past 2-3 years I have been more involved in it. I have experience with many puppies (including a deaf one), senior dogs, and dogs in between. I have also been a sitter for many neighbors and friends. I am currently a full time student at Southern Connecticut State University, and I am studying nursing. I currently only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, so any other day I am free! I make sure the dog is always on a leash outside, with treats in hand in case I need to get their attention. I will always give my full attention to the pet while I am there.

However this schedule is not set and am still open for nights or a series of days! When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to maintain their usual routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I’m respectful of your space, and I always leave things just as I found them. I’ll follow all care instructions closely—from feeding and walks to medications and crate time and make sure your pets get lots of love and attention while you're gone.
