About: Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a remote worker based in Saco, Maine. I grew up caring for multiple dogs, cats and rabbits and have been pet sitting for many years. I feel confident with all breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m home almost all day and have a very flexible schedule. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was born. During high school I used to dog sit for many family friends. Typically overnights and occasional drop ins. A couple years ago I moved out of my parents house and have been dog sitting for my friends now that they have their own pets, as well as my family who recently adopted a new kitten (If you have cats that need care) I am very adaptable and responsible, I’ve cared for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. I love them all! I have also pet sat for animals who have special diets, that require me to prep dinner instead of the typical scoop of kibble. About: I've walked dogs before, but I am not as experienced with dogs as I am with cats, however, I like dogs and hope to get more experience caring for them. I currently attend university, I'm also a student athlete, but I'd love to make some extra cash and I really love animals. I am studying animal behavior at school. Also also amazing! Whether your dog is super social or has stranger danger—I will gladly take care of any breed of dog. As previously mentioned I do love stranger danger pups—with my shelter experience, I’m incredibly skilled and patient with going at their pace. If you do have a stranger danger dog, I will gladly meet up as many times as needed for them to be comfortable with me free of charge before services are needed :) I work nights, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! If there’s any special care needed, I would be happy to accommodate and chat! I’m very respectful of other’s homes—I will cater to the animal’s needs! Nikki took care of our sweet kitty Binx for a whole week and we just love her so much. She gives such detailed updates and you can tell she truly cares about him! Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
