About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life, so that’s 25 years of loving animals, but just 11 years as the sole caregiver of my own. From Labradors to Chihuahuas, to Police K-9s, I’ve loved them all, though I’m currently a cat lady. For the first time in my life, I don’t have any dogs at the moment, as I don’t feel like I have enough space for it to be fair to them. So this is how I get my dog fix, and my steps in at the same time 🤭. I currently have 2 cats and 1 hedgehog, I’m a sucker for an exotic pet. I’ve also had 4 snakes in the past (my husband is terrified or else I’d have some right now). One of my cats is leash trained, and one has some medical needs, so I’m familiar with oral medication administration as well. I do work full-time during the week, so I am only available after 5pm. Sometimes I’m able to step away for breaks as I work from home 3 days per week, but my work is pretty irregular, so afternoons and evenings are the best bet for my availability. I live in a relatively small condo, so I don’t have much space. As much as I would love to offer boarding, I don’t think it would be fair to your pet, as I also do not have a yard.
“Nishat was extremely timely and quick to respond when I needed some last minute care! She sent lots of photos for updates and made me feel better that my kitties were getting some play time and love while I was away 🥰”

“Dannelle deserves 10 stars. She was so helpful on such short notice, she sent pictures everyday, and also text me when she got to my house and left. Can't say enough good things about her!”

“Gigi was a pleasure to work with. She did a Zoom meet and greet. And help me to move the date of our appointment. She left numerous pictures and a review. I highly recommend Gigi.”

About: Animal fosterer with 2 years of experience with both dogs and cats of all ages, plenty of free time, and a genuine love for all animals. Ready to provide attentive, caring pet sitting! I currently work full time in South Portland, but I find watching animals so rewarding so I highly prioritize caring for your pet! I can take walks/potty breaks every few hours except during the workday which would be 8 hours depending on the commute from my work! I only offer house sitting as my home currently has other animals living in it. I love to go to beaches and dog parks or just sit and keep the animals company!
“Casey was great! She scheduled a meet and greet, asked important questions, sent lots of pictures. and kept us updated. Both our cats loved her! She was also incredibly flexible when we got sick and had to cut our trip short. I would highly recommend booking with Casey!”

“Grateful for Rachael‘s availability! I was in a bind when my husband was out of town and I needed to go into the office. Rachel quickly agreed to come over to walk our Maizy girl. With the reunion the day before, Maizy recognized Rachael immediately, even though it had been three months! She greeted her with a happy smile and tail wags! Thanks again, Rachael for taking such good care of our girl!”
About: My super strength as a pet caregiver, is my interest in getting to know an animal's personality and working mindfully and respectfully with their nature. I prioritize safety, trust and attention. I've taught young children and raised kittens, puppies and chickens over the last twenty years. As a lover of Great Pyrenees (having raised three) and cats, I have great respect for the subtle and obvious efforts our animals use to communicate with us. I'm experienced with all ages. Senior pets are very dear to me. I've had the honor to provide comforting care for my own animals and provide tender touch, medications, dietary support, and a calm presence through their final months. I also love training and nurturing puppies. I am available to provide individualized day and overnight care for your pet(s) and plants. Contact me to discuss your short-term or longterm needs. I am especially interested in helping people feel at ease during holidays and vacations by providing qualified, experienced multi-day pet care. Mindfulness, kindness, and experience guide my services. I'm happy to travel to care for pets in the comfort of their home or mine! My place was designed for Great Pyrenees. I have a large, protective deck and fenced yard for supervised off-leash, outdoor time.

“Amy's communication was sincere and good. My cat was quite shy and hid from her, and she was honest about not seeing her but reporting on the food, water, and litter box being used, so my worries subsided. I will be calling on Amy again.”

About: I've cared for dogs of all sizes, from small companion breeds to very large breeds, and I'm comfortable adapting to each dog's unique personality, routine, and needs. I have experience working with food-guarding behaviors and reactive dogs, which has taught me the importance of patience, awareness, consistency, and safety. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or requires a little extra understanding, I strive to provide calm, attentive care tailored to them. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to discussing how I can best support you and your furry family member. 🐾 I'm currently going back to school and taking classes online, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Aside from the occasional beach walk or outing, I'm home most of the time and have plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable care and lots of love for your pets. 🐾 The level of care I provide for your pet with is equally the amount of respect I will have for your home, boundaries and expectations.
“Cameron is a natural with dogs. My dog, Missy Birch always remembers and is excited to see Cameron when he comes over. Their walks include: neighborhood strolls or local trails. Cameron is kind, patient, attentive, and very responsible, I've known Cameron for many years and it’s clear he genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs & cats! Missy Birch loves Cameron and she says she would highly recommend him to walk and hang out with more dogs!”

““Lyndsay was great! She was responsive, sent a ton of photos of our babies, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We don’t have the easiest five-animal household, but Lyndsay handled everything with ease. She also did a wonderful job administering medication to one of our 5-month-old kitten, which gave us extra peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be booking with her again in the future and highly recommend her!””

About: I grew up in Oklahoma on 90 acres with cows, horses, cats, and dogs. I've always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. One of the unique experiences I offer is adventure outings for your pup. Living near the beach allows me to provide refreshing beach walks, and as an avid hiker, I also enjoy taking dogs on scenic trail adventures where they can safely explore and enjoy nature. I currently have two dogs of my own—a Miniature Dachshund and a German Shepherd mix we rescued. If your dog would benefit from a positive, supervised social outing, I’m happy to provide that as well. Growing up, I regularly cared for and walked neighbors’ and family members’ pets, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. My goal is to give you peace of mind while your pet has a fun, enriching experience. You can rest assured that your furry family members will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. As a full-time dog dad to my two pups, I maintain a flexible schedule and am readily available to help ensure your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s a quick neighborhood walk for exercise or an extended stay with a pet who needs a little extra companionship, I’m here to provide dependable, attentive care. I am committed to providing a high level of personalized care and attention to every client. I ensure that when you book a walk or service with me, your pets receive my full, undivided focus. This dedicated one-on-one time allows me to tailor each visit to your pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine. I also have a spacious SUV available for safe transportation if needed. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I offer nature hikes as an additional service, giving them the opportunity to explore and exercise in a safe, supervised environment. Feel free to send me a message with what you’re looking for, and I’ll respond as soon as possible. I look forward to connecting with you and your pets!

Kayla was wonderful! She’s very sweet and clearly loves animals like I do. I booked somewhat last minute and she was very accommodating coming for a meet and greet late in the evening. I felt very safe leaving my two kitties with her. They even came out for pets which they rarely do with strangers. I would definitely book with her again ♡ ︎
