About: Professional Pet Snuggler, Dog Walker Extraordinaire, and Treat Giver Supreme 🐾 I’m a mom of two young wild and wonderful kids (three, if you count my husband 😄) and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve lived with pets so long, I’m basically fluent in meow, woof, and squeak. With over 5 years of dog-walking experience, I’m comfy with pups of all sizes — from pocket-sized pooches to gentle giants. I’m also totally cool with cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even horses. If it has fur (or whiskers), I’m in! Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, your cat needs a snack and a snuggle, or your pet rat just wants someone to chat with — I’ve got you covered. I treat every animal like part of the family (and yes, I do talk to them like they’re tiny humans). Ready to bring joy, treats, and tummy rubs — can’t wait to meet your whiskered pal! As a stay-at-home mom, part-time admin, and dance instructor, I’m no stranger to juggling schedules — and I’ve got the flexibility to fit in pet care when you need it most. Whether it’s during the school year or the summer shuffle, I can usually make it work. Need a midday walk? A last-minute drop-in? A cuddle buddy for your cat while you’re away? I’ve got you covered! I don’t offer pet sleepovers at my place (our house is already a zoo!), but I’m more than happy to come to yours. Your pets will stay comfy in their own cozy corners while I handle the food, walks, belly rubs, and more. I'm super respectful of your home and always treat it like it’s my own. I’m also very mindful of home safety and security — you can count on me to treat your space with respect and care while you’re away.

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and have cared for dogs consistently since I was 15, I now have my own cat and have cared for him for the past 3 years. I am a full time student but I have plenty of time between classes and the whole days during weekends which gives me plenty of time to care for any furry friends! I have a friendly 3year old cat who loves all animals. I live in a neighborhood that acts as a community, and tons of places for dogs to run around!

About: Throughout my life I have always been drawn to animals. Ive had several small pets and have also had family dogs and cats my whole life. Prior to moving out, I would take my dogs for two 3 mile walks a day and enjoyed being active with them. Im a working professional in the mental health crisis field, and while I am extremely dedicated to that work, it doesn't pay the bills and am looking for something fun and meaningful to add in! Availability: Sunday: 6am-8pm Monday: 6am-8pm Tues-Fri: 430pm-8pm I am available in the hours that I do not work my full time job. Available by request prior to 6am. I do not bring pets to my home at any time and ideally will have full conversation with the pet owner to learn about their pets individual personality, needs, and what makes their pet feel safe. I understand that everyone has different living experiences and all pets have different needs. I also understand that owners have their own preferences for their pets which I shall follow.

About: I'm highly dependable and punctual, and I always provide clear updates so you know how the walk went. You’ll never be left wondering—just happy to see your dog getting great care and exercise while you’re away or busy. I work a full-time job Monday - Friday, with remote work at the beginning of the week and an hour-long break each day for those local to my office in Portland. My weekends are typically open, as I have Saturdays and Sundays off work. Generally speaking, I may be able to accommodate walks before 8 am and after 5 pm throughout the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always treat their space and their routine with respect. I follow your instructions closely—whether that’s feeding, refreshing water, wiping paws, or giving meds—and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you're away. For walks, I tailor the pace and route to your dog’s needs and energy level. Whether they’re a high-energy pup who loves to explore or a senior who enjoys a slow stroll, I make sure they’re getting the right amount of exercise, enrichment, and love. After every visit, I send an update so you know how things went and how your pet is doing!

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

About: I love animals and am responsible and reliable. I work in education but am looking to be more active while spending time with your lovable pet(s). I am available during school vacations during the day. I can come once or multiple times in the day, and I can come each day or just as needed. My own dog is a rescue who can be a bit jumpy. I always use a leash for walks, take him out every 4-ish hours, feed him twice a day, check his water, and cuddle with him. I would listen to you about your pet's needs and care for them as you ask.

“Faith was absolutely wonderful to work with. She communicated well, was friendly and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her for anyone's pet needs! Thank you again!”

About: I don’t have animals of my own and so I fill that void by caring for other people’s animals! Dog, cat, bird, reptile…anything but insects! I work full time in schools so I only do boarding during school breaks and in the summer. When school is in session, I do check-ins/walks in the evenings in the Portland, Westbrook, Scarborough and Gorham areas. My home is a private sanctuary for any animal. I have no other pets and I live alone so they will get all the attention!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life—from dogs and cats to farm animals—so understanding animal body language comes naturally to me. I grew up with the philosophy that “the critters eat before you do,” and I’ve carried that care-first mindset into everything I do. I’ve personally trained animals of all sizes, from horses to hamsters, using a gentle but confident approach. While I’m not currently a pet parent or certified trainer, I have years of hands-on experience and a deep respect for every animal I meet. I’m excited to care for your pet like they’re my own! During the school year, I’m available for walks and drop-ins around my kids’ school schedule. In the summer, when my kids are with their other parent, my schedule opens up completely—making me available for walks, drop-ins, overnights, and extended care. While I’m not able to offer boarding at the moment due to my living situation, I treat every pet in my care with the same attention and respect I give my own children—they’re your baby, after all! I’m happy to follow your exact schedule and routines, or take a more flexible, intuitive approach based on your pet’s body language and needs. With years of experience, I adjust my care to match each pet’s personality and comfort level as well as parent’s preferences.

“Sonia did a great job! Our cat was well taken care of (drop-in visits for 3 days when we were gone) and we got pictures and updates everyday! Sonia and Peter are communicative and flexible and a pleasure to work with!”
