2. Jesse R.
“Jesse takes his job of caring for dogs very seriously. I trusted Jesse to take care of my dog for a week while I was traveling. There’s not many people I fully trust with my fur-baby! Jesse loves dogs and you can see the joy is his eyes when he watches them play. He’s patient, but firm when necessary and strong enough to handle Big dogs.”

About: I owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She recently passed away and so I am looking to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. I am a huge animal lover and therefore I am available to assist with daily activities (feeding, medications, potty time) and enrichment (walking & play time) including overnight boarding. I will accept 2 dogs at the same time if they are from the same family (additional service rate would apply). I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a backyard as well as two large front yards and live in a nice area in Arundel. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.
4. Marlena M.
“Good evening. I have known Marlena for several years. I've watched her being an incredible dog mom. Her dogs always come first place in her life. Marlena is not only passionate about animals, she is passionate about the environment. She organized a community trash removal team to clean up areas by the local walking paths. Marlena is an avid outdoors person. Her hiking accomplishments are amazing! Marlena is a hard worker, and I know she would be an asset to your company.”

6. Dan D.
“Dan is so great! He's super professional but also a really nice, genuine guy who just really loves dogs. He has experience with dogs who are nervous, shy, anxious and knows how to treat these pups that sometimes need a little extra TLC. Dan is reliable and responsible and he will treat your pet like his own!”
7. Roy & Simone T.
“Roy is an exceptional human being who loves all dogs from various walks of life. Roy is incredibly calm, considerate and kind. We are next door neighbors and our dog absolutely loves him, and he tackles him constantly. Roy’s wife Simone also has an insatiable love for dogs and couldn’t be any sweeter and also very responsible. They have two dogs, Jack and Donnie, who are so silly and gentle. I would highly recommend these two to watch your family member as they have watched over our dog and given him a 5-star experience every time—even let him cuddle and sleep in their bed with them —just like he was one of their own. I feel so fortunate to have them live nextdoor!”
8. Melynda R.

11. Karen L.
“Hands down the BEST! I honestly could not imagine having my princess in any other home… (besides my own) Karen has babysat my rescue Nala several times and always does a great job keeping her busy and well taken care of, she doesn't even miss me! I feel better knowing Nala is in a loving home full of walks and cuddles. She does overnights and sleeps with Nala so she's not lonely. She sends me lots of pictures and videos of their fun adventures. She's flexible and understanding. There has only been a couple times she was unable to take Nala because she was booked and I had to go with someone else. They were good, but Nala jumps out and runs to Karen! Her daughter is always so happy to see Nala and Nala thinks she is her best friend!”

She’s an anxious older dog but chills right out with Royce at her side, and always comes come exhausted from playing with him. ❤️ Melissa is super communicative and kind, the dogs spend lots of time outside and get lots of love. Finding a good place for Freya to stay has given us so much comfort and freedom!”
14. George G.
“George is fantastic with pets! He is so loving and caring. He loves all animals and takes the time to learn so much about them. They are truly his passion.”
15. Sara T.
“I am so grateful to have found Sara. My dog has separation anxiety, which really puts a damper on our ability to get out and do things. Sara took time to do a meet-and-greet to find out about Muppet, let him check out the place, meet her other pets, etc. I could tell right away she had a heart for pets, and we were both comfortable with her right away. Muppet had his first stay with Sara while my husband and I had a Saturday out. Muppet was calm and happy when I picked him up, and I could tell he had a nice, stress-free time and was well looked after. Sara was also kind enough to take and share a few pics from Muppet's visit. I feel totally confident leaving Muppet in Sara's caring and capable hands, and I'm so happy to have found someone so close to us in Standish.”

About: I've lived with animals my whole life. Growing up, I lived with many cats, dogs, rabbits, and two amazon parrots. I have volunteered at shelters and worked at a pet grooming service in my teens. Currently, I live with four cats, one gecko, and many different pet insects and arachnids. At the moment, I'm sitting a dog and a four year old child for a neighbor every Monday, as well as semi-regularly watching a pair of senior dogs and four adult cats for a different couple. I would love an opportunity to care for peoples exotic pets because as someone with exotic pets of my own, I know it can be very difficult to find knowledgeable and trustworthy sitters to care for them if I'm gone. Of course, I'm also happy to meet and care for fuzzy friends too! If you have any questions, please just shoot me a message. When I'm not sitting I make my own hours for work, so my schedule is very flexible. This excludes Mondays when I sit for my neighbor. Because I already live with several pets, I usually care for pets in their owners' homes, but I do make exceptions for well-behaved pets that get along with cats. I have a large (unfenced) yard and a car fit for multiple dogs to get them there or to any destination if the situation calls for it. As a precaution, I will always require that the owner be present with me for the introduction, and I would ask that they allow me to accompany them on a short walk or be present during a feeding so that we can build trust before the owner leaves. Every pet has a different personality and set of needs and I pride myself on my ability to understand animal body language well enough to know what they need and want. Care and interaction vary case by case, but my main goal is to keep all the animals in my care safe and happy.

Vanessa is in a quiet area that lends easily to nature walks, Vanessa also adapts to feeding schedules, etc. I would not hesitate to call Vanessa to help with the care of my pets.”
