About: I’ve volunteered at the San Diego animal shelter and taken trainer courses to become certified to meet their standards. I’ve fed, bathed, walked, played and socialized with all kinds of dogs big small hyper calm young and old! I love them all! In my travels on the road I would find time to visit the local animal shelters and walk some of their dogs! If I ever see a stray or even a question in doubt about a dog I will try and find it it’s owner/home or bring it to safety. I can handle all types of dogs and love to see them happy and comfortable!! After all they are our babies!! Navy veteran, mother of two wonderful children and a small amazing Cavapoo! I have Friday through Sunday available can even take an over night on the occasional Thursday! Looking forward to meeting you and your pup 🐶 I have a large covered porch for bird watching for the peaceful environment but outback in the private backyard the pups can explore and let their hair down!! I will walk the perimeter of my property multiple times a day! A 10x10 kennel and ground stakes with leads for pups to stay tied to! There are walking trails within walking distance of property lots of good adventures await!! Will feed when requested with the food provided and constant and endless water supplied in more than one location!!! Hydrated dogs are happy dogs!!Your dog will be right at home away from home. Well mannered pups will be loose in the house. Have rooms with large enough space to separate dogs too if there is ever a concern for anyone’s safety. Please bring: harness, collar and leash, dog food and bowls. Special medication if any required. For comfort please bring their crates if they love them and bed or blankets a toy or two and a pillowcase or shirt that smells like mamma or dad so they know you are always near!!
5. Jennifer B.
“Jennifer is a great choice to watch your pet while away. Apart from being reliable and trustworthy, two extremely crucial traits, she's a huge lover of animals, and treats those in her care like she does her own children and pets-- making sure they get lots of walks and affection. She devotes herself. She watched my sweet Jerry after his cancer surgery, and I hated to leave him, but I know he was in good hands with her. You can rest your mind with your pet in her care, something that is hard to put a value on; I recommend her wholeheartedly.”
6. Alma D.
“Alma graciously cared for my pup consistently for five years. She is consistent, reliable, commutative, and most importantly loves dogs. I would highly recommend Alma to people looking for a dog-companion and sitter. My personal favorite thing about Alma in her dog-engagements is that she actually learned how to speak fluent dog. Highly recommend!”
7. Rachel P.

“Freya ADORES Melissa and Royce. Whether it’s one day, or two weeks, she’s happy to be there. She’s an anxious older dog but chills right out with Royce at her side, and always comes come exhausted from playing with him. ❤️ Melissa is super communicative and kind, the dogs spend lots of time outside and get lots of love. Finding a good place for Freya to stay has given us so much comfort and freedom!”

16. Roy & Simone T.
“Roy and Simone has watched our Dog Son for us multiple times, and every time it has been a thorough reminder for how blessed we are to have such friends and neighbors. They show a remarkable amount of care, patience, and attention with our pets and very clearly love animals. I am very comfortable trusting them with our fur babies; they are very responsive, responsible, and have experience raising and spending time with animals of different personalities. Their home is pet safe and they are active and appropriately careful and attentive to animals and their needs. You would have a hard time finding a nicer couple to watch over your four legged family member.”

About: I've lived with animals my whole life. Growing up, I lived with many cats, dogs, rabbits, and two amazon parrots. I have volunteered at shelters and worked at a pet grooming service in my teens. Currently, I live with four cats, one gecko, and many different pet insects and arachnids. At the moment, I'm sitting a dog and a four year old child for a neighbor every Monday, as well as semi-regularly watching a pair of senior dogs and four adult cats for a different couple. I would love an opportunity to care for peoples exotic pets because as someone with exotic pets of my own, I know it can be very difficult to find knowledgeable and trustworthy sitters to care for them if I'm gone. Of course, I'm also happy to meet and care for fuzzy friends too! If you have any questions, please just shoot me a message. When I'm not sitting I make my own hours for work, so my schedule is very flexible. This excludes Mondays when I sit for my neighbor. Because I already live with several pets, I usually care for pets in their owners' homes, but I do make exceptions for well-behaved pets that get along with cats. I have a large (unfenced) yard and a car fit for multiple dogs to get them there or to any destination if the situation calls for it. As a precaution, I will always require that the owner be present with me for the introduction, and I would ask that they allow me to accompany them on a short walk or be present during a feeding so that we can build trust before the owner leaves. Every pet has a different personality and set of needs and I pride myself on my ability to understand animal body language well enough to know what they need and want. Care and interaction vary case by case, but my main goal is to keep all the animals in my care safe and happy.
18. Rachel L.

19. Alex D.
“Alex is kind, attentive and present for any animal in his care. Each year he takes care of our five large dogs while we are on vacation. They do not seem to miss us 😔 as he keeps them all engaged until we return Our dogs are our pride and joy. The confidence we have in Alex allows us to enjoy our time away. If it is just for a work day or a week Alex is the best choice anyone can make for their dog.”
20. Anne B.
“Anne was so good with our dog. When we brought her home she just behaved normally. Anne sent photos, videos, and updates. Our dog was so comfortable. Very nice calm environment. It is all about the dogs here. Very nice experience. Thank you Anne for your attention and affection for our dog.”
