I grew up on a horse farm in rural Maine and have been around animals my whole life. In addition to owning two dogs of my own, I have fostered dogs and puppies for years and know how to handle all sorts of situations and types of dogs from seperation anxiety, high energy, senior dogs to puppies. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find someone you trust to care for your dog, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while your pup is in my care. I’ve grown up with dogs of all breeds and sizes and feel completely at ease with pups of all temperaments. Whether it’s playtime, walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, or clean-ups, I’ve got it covered! I also work from home a few days a week, so your dog will get plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Inside, my home is dog-friendly and calm, providing a comfortable space filled with love and attention throughout the day. You can relax knowing your dog will be safe, happy, and well cared for every step of the way.

About: I’ve been taking care of and owning dogs, and recently cats, since I was in high school. I have raised and trained dogs from puppyhood into their elder years, and taken care of sick and special needs animals. I have a very flexible schedule as well. I take care of pets every day, and have a very flexible schedule. I love to take care of animals, and also volunteer weekly at the Animal Shelter. I would prefer to take care of pets at the clients home, or outside. I have a large, semi-fenced in yard and always keep an eye out. I will not leave the dog alone to ensure their safety and frequently play with them to avoid boredom.

About: I’ve been a loving parent to both cats and dogs for 25 years. I love animals and am happy to accommodate walk schedules, medications, injections, and of course, lots of playtime and scritches! My pup and I do pretty much whatever we want, whenever we want. I have a flexible work schedule and am often at home, so can accommodate desired potty break and walk times, medications, preferred activities (beach, dog park, hanging out at the house.) My pup is always ready for company and activity, but knows when it’s time to relax. I live in a private house set far back from the street, with a large, well kept (but unfenced) 1.5 acre yard. My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. He loves playtime with other dogs, but is respectful of the quieter styles of older dogs or dogs just needing rest. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

Our own dog never found the right fit for large doggie daycare facilities so we can offer a calm home environment that's less chaotic but still fun.

About: I’ve had my 16 year old dog since he was a puppy. I’ve taken care of many friends and neighbors dogs of all ages and sizes. My fenced in yard makes for the perfect dog paradise. I work from home and I have plenty of time for walks and snuggles. My dog typically goes out 3 times a day so I’m used to keeping a regular schedule but I can adapt to what works best for your pup! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for outings and play. I am also able to take your pup for longer walks as requested. Crates preferred but I have a separate room they can stay in if needed. I have a 16 year old dog so must be able to get along with another dog :)

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 8 years old. I currently have a 13 year old female cat and a 7 year old yellow lab as well as a 5 year old golden retriever all raised since being puppies/a kitten. With that being said they do not live with me as they stayed with my parents after I moved away from home so I currently only have a young kitten in my house! I also worked in a Doggie Daycare/ Boarding facility so I am good with all dog/cat breeds as well as administering any medications needed. I’m currently a stay at home fiancé with plenty of time to walk your fur baby as well as give them lots of cuddles and play time. I love walking outdoors and playing outside. I have a nice sized grass yard with lots of space for your fur baby’s to play and be able to use the bathroom. I also have spare rooms where your fur baby’s can go if feeling too overwhelmed and need space to themselves. They’re welcome on any furniture and will get lots of toys and pets! I am also open to getting any crates if you have a crate trained pup and will make any accommodations to help make sure what you’re training at home will stay the same with me!
