“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. About: Since I was a teenager I have had friends, family, and neighbors entrust me with the care of their fur babies. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs,and even chickens. I currently own 3 rescue dogs, a cat, and my own small chicken flock. 2 of my 3 dogs are on the harder side of the rescue realm, so I understand some pets can take more patience then others. I work primarily from home, with an occasional office day mixed in. Most days I can be available on my lunch hour, as well as other times of day depending on what else is going on. “Coconut's stay at Kelly's was fabulous. She took her out on an adventure, let her sleep on her bed, and overall showed a lot of empathy and understanding for pets. Her place is clean and very dog friendly. We would absolutely book with Kelly again!”
“Emily was wonderful with my senior pittie mix. She was happy to comply with his little quirks and did a great job keeping him away from the things he should avoid (other dogs, people food). He was immediately comfortable with her and I received lovely updates from her. He also settled in immediately which speaks for itself. I would be happy to leave my boy in her care again.”
