About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. Additionally, I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. I am now available full time for care in the Standish and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes. When caring for dogs in my home, they have constant supervision and are free to roam the living space. This is ideal for dogs with separation anxiety! I will do all walks, outdoor playtimes, and potty breaks on leash, as often as they need. If the dog likes, they will sleep in bed with me and my pug mix!

Bernard size to dachshund size. I have taken care of aggressive dogs and dogs that have had a litter of puppies. I also have a cat and am comfortable with watching your cats as well. About: Since I was a teenager I have had friends, family, and neighbors entrust me with the care of their fur babies. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs,and even chickens. I currently own 3 rescue dogs, a cat, and my own small chicken flock. 2 of my 3 dogs are on the harder side of the rescue realm, so I understand some pets can take more patience then others. I work primarily from home, with an occasional office day mixed in. Most days I can be available on my lunch hour, as well as other times of day depending on what else is going on. I have some flexibility with my job. Your pet's safety is a number one priority. General safety within the home should be discussed ahead of time. And any special things to watch out for. I happen to have a dog who will eat absolutely anything left on the floor, so any special safety concerns should be discussed.

About: Heyyy! Want to know a little bit about me? I have a 3 year old crazy hound at home! I got her as a puppy and shes been my best friend ever since. We like to be outdoors frequently as shes got a lot of energy. I also have 2 lazy cats that I adore but they don't do too much. I have experience working in 3 different dog daycare facilities. Doing all things like boarding, group play, feeding/medications, and outdoor walks (sometimes in groups as well). For a short period of time while working at the daycare I had fostered a senior dog as well before she successfully got adopted!!! About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and medical requirements. Due to having worked in a veterinary clinic, I am capable of handling pets with specific health requirements and am very comfortable with animals from diverse backgrounds. This position has also helped me to understand pet behavior, especially with anxious or shy pets. My employment at a boarding facility and dog daycare has helped prepare me for playtime and enrichment while dogs are away from their owners. This position also made me comfortable handling and caring for multiple dogs at once. I have dog and cat-sat for many friends and coworkers over the years and am comfortable providing care for pets in someone else's home. I am taking the summer off before starting veterinary school in August at Kansas State University! I’m excited to spend that time caring for animals. About: I have had dogs in my family for 14 years, and I got my fur baby at 8 weeks old in 2020. She is the center of my universe and ever since getting her, all I have been wanting to do is care for and help as many dogs as I can. Not only do I have her, but my boyfriend, whom I live with, also has a pit but who is 10 years old. They adore each other. About a year ago, I started taking my dog to a professional dog trainer who specializes in bully breeds. Although it was a dog trainer, I was actually the one who was trained! I learned so much about dogs. Such as how to read them, how important routine and structure is, commands, reactivity, anxiousness and low confidence in dogs, leash training, and much more. I was taught things to do and changes to make to boost my girls confidence, listen better, and ease her anxiety and reactivity. She has been doing so much better and I’m so proud of her. I believe every dog deserves fair training, structure, and most of all, love and care! I currently work 4 days a week at PWM. I’m also taking online classes working toward my bachelors in nutrition. My other 2-3 days and some evenings, will be spent caring for and loving other’s fur babies! When I come to your home to visit your pet, whether it’s to feed them, play with them, walk them, or a combination of the 3, I will treat them as if they are my own. I will take the knowledge I’ve learned from my dog’s trainer and apply it when visiting your baby. I make my own dog treats and will bring them with me to share, if your dogs diet allows.
