About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. Additionally, I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I would love to hear from you I have been walking dogs and doing drop ins for cats and dogs professionally for over 13 years. I am now available full time for care in the Standish and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes. When caring for dogs in my home, they have constant supervision and are free to roam the living space. This is ideal for dogs with separation anxiety! I will do all walks, outdoor playtimes, and potty breaks on leash, as often as they need. If the dog likes, they will sleep in bed with me and my pug mix!

About: Hi, my name is Oksana, I'm an animal lover and i would take them all in. I'm ready to care for your pups and give them what they need. I have taken care of pups from st. Bernard size to dachshund size. I have taken care of aggressive dogs and dogs that have had a litter of puppies. I also have a cat and am comfortable with watching your cats as well. I love to walk and exercise if that's what your dog is needing.
About: Since I was a teenager I have had friends, family, and neighbors entrust me with the care of their fur babies. Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even chickens. I currently own 3 rescue dogs, a cat, and my own small chicken flock. 2 of my 3 dogs are on the harder side of the rescue realm, so I understand some pets can take more patience then others. I work primarily from home, with an occasional office day mixed in. Most days I can be available on my lunch hour, as well as other times of day depending on what else is going on. I have some flexibility with my job. Your pet's safety is a number one priority. General safety within the home should be discussed ahead of time. And any special things to watch out for. I happen to have a dog who will eat absolutely anything left on the floor, so any special safety concerns should be discussed.
“Matt was great! He was communicative from the meet and greet through a full week of 2x day walks, he always provided an update on how things were going. He was caring and patient with my dog and punctual for all walks! Thank you Matt!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and have a deep passion for both. I have 2 cats and they are super friendly and have so many toys and new activities every day!
“Kristen is an amazing dog walker! She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was taken care of while on our week long honeymoon. She walked him, played with him, made sure he had food and water after the walk and when he had an accident, she was so kind to clean it. We can not recommend her enough.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old as a pet sitter, but we got our own family dog as a toddler. Over the years, that experience has grown into a true passion, and I now have 2 dogs of my own. I’m used to all kinds of personalities, from high-energy dogs who love long walks and playtime to more relaxed companions who just want cuddles. I’m all about keeping tails wagging with lots of attention, exercise, and love. I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Because I am not tied to an office, I’m able to let sit in your home and be present for walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship—keeping your pets routine as normal and stress-free as possible. When caring for pets in your home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. I follow your pets routine closely—from feeding schedules to walks and playtime—so the feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and supervision at all times.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and medical requirements. Due to having worked in a veterinary clinic, I am capable of handling pets with specific health requirements and am very comfortable with animals from diverse backgrounds. This position has also helped me to understand pet behavior, especially with anxious or shy pets. My employment at a boarding facility and dog daycare has helped prepare me for playtime and enrichment while dogs are away from their owners. This position also made me comfortable handling and caring for multiple dogs at once. I have dog and cat-sat for many friends and coworkers over the years and am comfortable providing care for pets in someone else's home. I am taking the summer off before starting veterinary school in August at Kansas State University! I’m excited to spend that time caring for animals. I have experience working in both a small animal veterinary clinic and a dog daycare/boarding facility, where I cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In both of these roles, I’ve gained experience with feeding, administering medications, observing behavior, handling pets, and making sure animals feel safe and comfortable while away from home. I’m reliable, attentive, and truly love getting to know each pet’s personality. As a future veterinarian, animal health and well-being are extremely important to me! Pet safety and comfort is very important to me. I have learned to understand animal behavior and try to make each pet feel as safe as possible. I am comfortable recognizing signs of stress and anxiety and feel confident de-escalating situations should they arise. I try to make pets feel comfortable with a stranger around by giving them plenty of time to warm up and space if they need it.

“Nicolette is the best! I used her as my regular dog walker during my long work shifts and would highly recommend her. She took great care of my dog, always taking him on great walks. She gives the best Rover report cards with great photos and excellent communication. I’m only in Maine for a short period of time, but will definitely use her again if we are ever back in town.”

About: I have had dogs in my family for 14 years, and I got my fur baby at 8 weeks old in 2020. She is the center of my universe and ever since getting her, all I have been wanting to do is care for and help as many dogs as I can. Not only do I have her, but my boyfriend, whom I live with, also has a pit but who is 10 years old. They adore each other. About a year ago, I started taking my dog to a professional dog trainer who specializes in bully breeds. Although it was a dog trainer, I was actually the one who was trained! I learned so much about dogs. Such as how to read them, how important routine and structure is, commands, reactivity, anxiousness and low confidence in dogs, leash training, and much more. I was taught things to do and changes to make to boost my girls confidence, listen better, and ease her anxiety and reactivity. She has been doing so much better and I’m so proud of her. I believe every dog deserves fair training, structure, and most of all, love and care! I currently work 4 days a week at PWM. I’m also taking online classes working toward my bachelors in nutrition. My other 2-3 days and some evenings, will be spent caring for and loving other’s fur babies! When I come to your home to visit your pet, whether it’s to feed them, play with them, walk them, or a combination of the 3, I will treat them as if they are my own. I will take the knowledge I’ve learned from my dog’s trainer and apply it when visiting your baby. I make my own dog treats and will bring them with me to share, if your dogs diet allows. I look forward to building new relationships and making new friends 🙂🐾🦴🐶
“Melissa has been excellent with our two fur babies! A huge weight has been lifted knowing they’re being taken care of while my fiancé and I are at work. She goes above and beyond!”
