“Faith is great! She was prompt and friendly, and managed our dog through a tricky situation on one of their walks. We really appreciate her help and experience, thank you!!”

About: To start, I have owned and lived with pets for my whole life. I grew up with a minimum of two dogs and two cats. I care for a dalmatian/pitbull mix (in my profile picture, his name is Galao!) who does not even like me, so I have gotten very good at reading dogs and their expressions! And I love cats! I grew up with two that both lived well into their 20's, so I think that should be on my petcare resume as well : ) I'm currently self employed and available during weekdays for house visits, walks, and sitting. Overnights during the week are negotiable as well. Im located in Westbrook, but willing to travel a ways! I have reliable transportaion for pets who are car trained as well, in case of emergency or if you would like me to take them somewhere! I will not be taking care of pets at my home. As I said, I take care of a very nervous dalmatian/pitbull mix who will not be involved in this at all. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I have a deep desire to hang around with dogs and cats of all care needs. I will take excellent care and nurture them. I just adopted a bonded pair. Indoor only but still micro chipped with a service just in case. Our animals are an extension of our families.

“Nicolette is the best! I used her as my regular dog walker during my long work shifts and would highly recommend her. She took great care of my dog, always taking him on great walks. She gives the best Rover report cards with great photos and excellent communication. I’m only in Maine for a short period of time, but will definitely use her again if we are ever back in town.”

“Melissa has been phenomenal so far with my fiancé and I’s boys. She’s been very flexible and understanding of our strange schedules. I’m so happy we’ve found her.”

“The dogs love her! She is very attentive and sends lots of pictures”

“Kara was a huge help when we had a last minute need for someone to come by in the middle of the day to care for our dog, Tucker. Tucker loved her right away and had a great time playing with Kara each day. We'll definitely work with Kara again!”

“Melissa has been excellent with our two fur babies! A huge weight has been lifted knowing they’re being taken care of while my fiancé and I are at work. She goes above and beyond!”

About: We have taken care of own pets and friends pets. We enjoy being there for them and being their friend. We have experience raising indoor and outdoor cats as well as potty training puppies. We love to stay active as well as to relax at home: 🐶❤️ Peter and I are both currently in between jobs and willing to travel to take care of your puppies and kitties. Thank you for trusting us! We can play with your dog/cat if requested as well as to walk them around your neighborhood. We can administer oral medications as well. We love to hang out with your pets at the comfort of your own place.

About: Honest, Experienced, Reliable pet sitting and care. We take great pride in forming a bond with each pet we take care of. This is something that we love doing and will love yours like our own. As an added bonus you should get a few great photos of your favorite creature! We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life—from dogs and cats to farm animals—so understanding animal body language comes naturally to me. I grew up with the philosophy that “the critters eat before you do,” and I’ve carried that care-first mindset into everything I do. I’ve personally trained animals of all sizes, from horses to hamsters, using a gentle but confident approach. While I’m not currently a pet parent or certified trainer, I have years of hands-on experience and a deep respect for every animal I meet. I’m excited to care for your pet like they’re my own! During the school year, I’m available for walks and drop-ins around my kids’ school schedule. In the summer, when my kids are with their other parent, my schedule opens up completely—making me available for walks, drop-ins, overnights, and extended care. While I’m not able to offer boarding at the moment due to my living situation, I treat every pet in my care with the same attention and respect I give my own children—they’re your baby, after all! I’m happy to follow your exact schedule and routines, or take a more flexible, intuitive approach based on your pet’s body language and needs. With years of experience, I adjust my care to match each pet’s personality and comfort level as well as parent’s preferences.

About: I have a beautiful cat named Lila now and two guinea pigs. I have a lot of experience with pets and love animals. I have pet sat for friends and family. I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I do enjoy taking photos, so I will send lots of pictures of your fury friend while you’re away. I’m available and can work pet care around my daily and weekly schedule. I’m in between jobs right now so I have a lot of flexibility. I will make sure to watch the animal as if it's my own. I know how important your pet is to you. I will follow any rules given to me regarding your pet. I will also make sure to clean up any messes the pet makes and leave the space as clean as I got there.

About: I recently had to say goodbye to my 8 year old black lab due to cancer. I am looking to spend some time helping others with their pet care. As a pet owner I understand how stressful time away can be due to missing your animal. Let me make your work day, work trip or vacation a little easier. I work full-time from home so I have flexibility to pet sit in your home, be available for walks or potty breaks, etc. During my free weekends I am available to stay with your pet. I am able to care for your pets in your home to make them feel safe and comfortable. This helps to avoid transportation or any settling in period.

“Megg helped us out last minute and we really appreciate it!”

“Kristen is an amazing dog walker! She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was taken care of while on our week long honeymoon. She walked him, played with him, made sure he had food and water after the walk and when he had an accident, she was so kind to clean it. We can not recommend her enough.”

“Miranda was excellent! It was my first time using rover. She had great communication, was very professional, and kept Bella’s needs in mind! Would highly recommend”

About: I have had dogs in my family for 14 years, and I got my fur baby at 8 weeks old in 2020. She is the center of my universe and ever since getting her, all I have been wanting to do is care for and help as many dogs as I can. Not only do I have her, but my boyfriend, whom I live with, also has a pit but who is 10 years old. They adore each other. About a year ago, I started taking my dog to a professional dog trainer who specializes in bully breeds. Although it was a dog trainer, I was actually the one who was trained! I learned so much about dogs. Such as how to read them, how important routine and structure is, commands, reactivity, anxiousness and low confidence in dogs, leash training, and much more. I was taught things to do and changes to make to boost my girls confidence, listen better, and ease her anxiety and reactivity. She has been doing so much better and I’m so proud of her. I believe every dog deserves fair training, structure, and most of all, love and care! I currently work 4 days a week at PWM. I’m also taking online classes working toward my bachelors in nutrition. My other 2-3 days and some evenings, will be spent caring for and loving other’s fur babies! When I come to your home to visit your pet, whether it’s to feed them, play with them, walk them, or a combination of the 3, I will treat them as if they are my own. I will take the knowledge I’ve learned from my dog’s trainer and apply it when visiting your baby. I make my own dog treats and will bring them with me to share, if your dogs diet allows. I look forward to building new relationships and making new friends 🙂🐾🦴🐶

About: I have a human-reactive 3 year old dog so I am very aware of anxious/reactive behaviors. I have lived with at least dog one for the last 6 years so taking care of dogs (mine or someone else’s) is something I’m very comfortable doing and I enjoy it! If it's nice outside, I love taking them outside to play fetch or even just lay around in the grass. My goal is for your dog to be entertained while you're gone so they'll be happy, tired, and excited to see you when you get home. If you'd like anything specific done, I’m happy to make sure any requests are accommodated. I am fully vaccinated. I’m able to work from anywhere during the week so I can drop in during the day if your pet is needing some mid day exercise or just a potty break. I have experience with raising my own puppy so I have no problem keeping both eyes on them 100% of the time. If they like their space, I’m happy to give them that as well. I’ll make sure to keep them on the same routine they’re used to and follow any specific instructions you provide.

About: Both of my parents were dog breeders while I was growing up, so I have life-long experience with puppies and adult dogs. I train Tamaskan puppies on my mom’s farm. I work well with cockapoos, corgis, plott hounds, Dutch shepherds and retrievers, since they're breeds I'm used to. I'm positive, however, that any dog can be charmed, and have never run into one that I couldn't. I volunteered at shelters and groomers growing up. I did an animal behavior project in Highschool for an extensive period of time. I worked with a 2yr dog with mange and seperation anxiety for 8 months. In 2 months she was house trained, crate trained, whistle trained (for speed while walking:slow or speed up, heel) and knew basic commands. Uses safe vegetable and fruits for dogs as treats. I also have experience with cats, rats, birds, turtles and snakes. Any extra pets will be charged more for care if required of me. On vacation, so I have spare time to spend with some cute animals! I have a cat, but I take care of Tamaskans a few days a week. I love going out for walks with a dog. My first week staying with my sister was amazing because she has 3 dogs (1 foster) that are all super high energy.
