“Matt was great! He was communicative from the meet and greet through a full week of 2x day walks, he always provided an update on how things were going. He was caring and patient with my dog and punctual for all walks! Thank you Matt!”

“Christina has been amazing! She has been walking our dog a couple times a week for about a month now. Our dog is very anxious when he meets new people, and can occasionally be aggressive when he’s at home and it’s someone new, but he instantly warmed to Christina! He has his own quirks like hating his harness but she is incredibly patient and is willing to wait it out until he is comfortable with getting it on. She’s very responsive to messages and gives lots of updates. Plus, you can tell she really loves dogs! We are very happy with her care of our pup!”

About: I have cared for animals from dogs to horses to chickens since childhood. I have had greyhounds for the last 8 years and am familiar with their idiosyncrasies, but am happy to walk and sit dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am a teacher, so during the summer I have a flexible schedule for sitting and walks. During the school year, I can board for weekends only. My dog is used to 3 walks a day in the neighborhood and an before-bed potty break, with some trips to trails and parks to keep things interesting. I live on a quiet dead-end street. I do not have a yard, but there are lots of sidewalks for neighborhood walks on leash, and a trail in the woods within walking distance. If your dog likes car rides, we can also go for adventures on other trails. I have a friendly, 6 year old greyhound, Turtle, who gets along well with medium and large dogs, so any boarders must play well with others and be up to date on shots, including kennel cough, and parasite screenings!
About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments and ages of dogs. Additionally, I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, I would love to hear from you I have been walking dogs and doing drop ins for cats and dogs professionally for over 13 years. I am now available full time for care in the Standish and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes. When caring for dogs in my home, they have constant supervision and are free to roam the living space. This is ideal for dogs with separation anxiety! I will do all walks, outdoor playtimes, and potty breaks on leash, as often as they need. If the dog likes, they will sleep in bed with me and my pug mix!
About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and have a deep passion for both. I have years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for animals, and am dedicated to providing the best care possible. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, which enhances my skills and keeps me up-to-date with the latest in pet care. Whether it’s a walk in the park or a cozy sit at home, your pets will receive the attention and affection they deserve. I am a student so I have plenty of availability and can be flexible if need be! I work part time so work would not be a conflict. I have a large yard and love taking pups on adventures on new trails or to lakes if they are swimmers! I have 2 cats and they are super friendly and have so many toys and new activities every day!
“Bella did an amazing job with Nala! This was her first time with Nala - and it was very appreciative how she updated how the visits were each time and pictures! Would definitely use again 😊”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old as a pet sitter, but we got our own family dog as a toddler. Over the years, that experience has grown into a true passion, and I now have 2 dogs of my own. I’m used to all kinds of personalities, from high-energy dogs who love long walks and playtime to more relaxed companions who just want cuddles. I’m all about keeping tails wagging with lots of attention, exercise, and love. I work remotely full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Because I am not tied to an office, I’m able to let sit in your home and be present for walks, feedings, playtime, and companionship—keeping your pets routine as normal and stress-free as possible. When caring for pets in your home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a calm, familiar environment. I follow your pets routine closely—from feeding schedules to walks and playtime—so the feel secure and comfortable while you’re away. I treat your home with the utmost respect and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and supervision at all times.
“Andy has been walking my dog fairly regularly for over 6 months now and I can’t recommend him enough. He is always timely in his response and communicates very clearly. I would recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a loving and responsible dog walker.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 10 years of pet sitting experience caring for all kinds of furry (and feathery!) friends. Over the years I’ve looked after dogs, cats, chickens, and rabbits, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including diabetic care, incontinence support, young puppies and kittens, and pets who just need a little extra patience and attention. My goal is always to keep your pets safe, happy, and relaxed while you’re away. At home, I share my life with my husband, step-daughter, our Golden Retriever, our cat, and our adorable Holland Lop rabbit, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your animals. I treat every pet I care for like they’re part of my own family—with plenty of love, playtime, and snuggles. Whether your pup needs a fun walk or your cat needs quiet companionship, I’d love to help. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I'm available for daily dog walks, cat-sitting and house-sitting, and occasional weekend or weekly boarding. Rest assured that your furry friends will get plenty of attention and snuggles while in my care. I care for your pets as if they are my own. When coming in to your home, I am respectful of privacy and boundaries and will follow the routine provided with the utmost care and love.
About: I have worked with and cared for dogs all my life, and cats about half. I have trained dozens of dogs, even ones that have been “impossible”. I am a very active person and outside is better than in! Expect to get your pets back tired so you all can rest before you’re back at the grind. I love animals and visitors for my dogs and play partners for my own high energy levels. And as always, smiles and safety first. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have strong long leads, one attached to the porch (20feet) and one yard one, with a 250lbs resistant or weight limit, 50 feet long that allows dogs to safely visit and play outside in yard without wondering off. As well, a small empty dog park near by to play ball and “run free” and we frequent other dog parks. Right now I have a full-time job and just looking for a side gig doing something I love on the weekends. I love animals, even the quirky ones. Right now, just working on the weekends I’m available. I do have two small dogs at home that need to play, and love other pets. I can watch them at my home, bring them to the dog park or at your home, if I can bring my dogs with.
About: I work at The Bark Yard, a fear and force free doggy daycare and boarding facility, where I care for dogs daily in a positive, stress-free environment. I’ve grown up with small to extremely large dogs—mainly Boston terriers and Great Pyrenees—and have hands-on experience with feeding, medication routines, enrichment, and reading canine body language. I also personally own and care for a cat, so I’m comfortable providing attentive, gentle care for both dogs and cats. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily and weekly routine. I work hands-on at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so caring for animals, following schedules, and reading behavior is second nature to me. At home, I care for my own cat with consistent feeding, litter maintenance, playtime, and observation. Because pet care is built into my lifestyle—not something I squeeze in—I’m reliable, attentive, and able to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, trust, and maintaining their normal routine. I carefully follow all written and verbal instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, and household rules. I respect the pet’s space, read body language, and move at their comfort level—especially for shy or anxious pets. I keep doors, gates, and leashes secure, maintain a clean environment, and leave the home as I found it. My goal is for pets to feel calm, safe, and cared for in their familiar environment.
