About: I have cared for animals from dogs to horses to chickens since childhood. I have had greyhounds for the last 8 years and am familiar with their idiosyncrasies, but am happy to walk and sit dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am a teacher, so during the summer I have a flexible schedule for sitting and walks. During the school year, I can board for weekends only. My dog is used to 3 walks a day in the neighborhood and an before-bed potty break, with some trips to trails and parks to keep things interesting. I live on a quiet dead-end street. I do not have a yard, but there are lots of sidewalks for neighborhood walks on leash, and a trail in the woods within walking distance. If your dog likes car rides, we can also go for adventures on other trails. I have a friendly, 6 year old greyhound, Turtle, who gets along well with medium and large dogs, so any boarders must play well with others and be up to date on shots, including kennel cough, and parasite screenings!

This enables me to have schedule that is centered around you and your dog and makes it possible for me to spend lots of time with your furry friend while you are away. I am located on over three acres of picturesque lake front property that includes a large outdoor fenced in area and is surrounded by a state of the art invisible fence system. While your pet is in my care, I will always keep a close eye on them and never leave them alone or unsupervised.

About: I have been a loving dog owner since I was born and the type of person you will always find petting various animals. I have been pet sitting and dog walking since I was nearly 10 years old and love every minute of it! I currently work three long days a week at the hospital, which are different each week, which, for the most part means I’m only available for your animals on my days off. Special exceptions may be worked out during overnight stays where I have time before and after work. On the plus side, my days off are very flexible! As per your preferences and the animal’s specificities, I would make sure to keep up their daily routines as well as keep them fed, watered, clean, and happy!
