About: I'm a fun-(and dog)-loving person who has been taking care of dogs (and various animals!) for my whole life. I've watched homes and animals of my neighbors, professors and friends. I understand the importance of love and care for animals, and how even just a walk can make a huge difference in the life of a dog. I've cherished my life with dogs and LOVE squishy dog faces. There's nothing better than walking into a home and being greeted by a drooling, furry friend who loves you for you (and definitely not just your treats). I've also done housekeeping, so if there's any picking up you need me to do while you're out of town, I'm happy to! Thanks so much for your time (and your dedication to your pets!). I currently work full-time, but have the ability to make my schedule flexible. My husband works from home and is able to do frequent walks/potty breaks if your pup is staying with us. I am as well - just usually in the afternoons around 2-3pm. On weekends, we are completely flexible as we try to keep them free of any scheduled activities! We have a fenced in yard to keep our pup safe as well as any guest dogs. We can definitely crate your pet as well if they find comfort in their little den. We are open to discuss any needs you/your pet might have!

I’m a first‑year medical student currently on summer vacation, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week. I’m available for both morning and afternoon walks, depending on what your dog needs. My days are flexible, so I can easily fit regular weekly walks or occasional check‑ins into my routine. I care for pets in their own home so they can stick to their normal routine. I handle feeding, walks, and any instructions you leave, and make sure your dog gets steady attention throughout the day. My focus is keeping things calm, consistent, and comfortable for your pup.

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.

He has a backyard with a deck and when I arrived to pick her up, she greeted me but went back to her spot on the deck and would have been happy to stay, I think! James sent a photo and video when I texted to see how she was doing and that was reassuring. We have another weekend away scheduled in the next couple of months and plan to ask James to take care of her then, so I would recommend him highly. He has a super friendly dog and she was good company for Maya.”

I loved all the updates and pictures of Dolly and even more importantly Dolly was SO well cared for and loved. When we returned for the second stay Dolly was so excited to be back which gave me so much peace of mind.
