I cared for my family’s lab until she was 15, giving me knowledge and experience with senior dogs. I have always leaped at the chance to dog and cat sit for friends, and they have continued to trust me with their furry friends. I fostered a sweet yet challenging chihuahua full time for 3 months in 2020, and learned I have good instincts when it comes to behavioral training. I also have some experience caring for a dog with a neurological condition and challenges with balance and stability. I lived with and helped care for a cat for 2 years. My roommate’s dog had high anxiety and was slow to trust, and I worked very well with him, too. I have great reviews on and off Rover and have had a great time caring for pets I’ve connected with through Rover so far! I don’t have any other pets. I work full time from home 4 days a week & 1 day a week in an office. On those 4 days from home and on the weekends, I’m available to host dogs in my home!

Schedule
I’m available to host in my home, especially because I work from home 4 days a week. If I’ve marked myself available on the weekend, it means I’ll be local, don’t have any big plans, and can hang with your dog quite a bit, offer daily walks, and I can provide potty breaks every 4-6 hours (usually more frequently). I can provide one longer walk per day, as well as potty breaks throughout the day and evening. I will utilize my schedule’s flexibility as much as I can to care for your pets as closely to their normal routine as possible!

I provide everything they need, food & water of course, medications if needed & on schedule, snuggles & walks & playtime & pets! My partner is also SO great with dogs, and will give them love too. On the weekends we often have a friend or two stopping in, so if your dog loves people, they’ll have plenty of attention!
A typical day
I love to go for walks with dogs, around town, or on a nice trail if they’re okay with car rides. If walks aren’t their thing, hanging out with such good company is great too.
