About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). About: Animals have always been the center of my world, from growing up with pets to pet-sitting countless dogs and cats across NYC. My two cats, August and Ivy, are the absolute loves of my life - My goal is simple: to provide your beloved pets with the exact same high standard of care, safety, and affection that my own two companions receive at home. I work in the office 3 days a week, but I have an hour for lunch and live only 7 min from my office. If close enough I will be able to check in midday as well as morning and after work. I have a fenced yard, though my cats are indoor only I have taken care of my neighbors dogs and enjoy playing fletch for round after round after round. I am organized and will have notes based on what you need for each drop in, will supply pictures, be there on time and stay the whole time. I always do my best to follow your pet’s usual schedule, so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. My home is a safe, pet-friendly environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. They will have plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and a cozy place to rest. . My children are older. They’re gentle and respectful, and they’ll happily play with your dog if that’s something your dog enjoys. I’ll also send regular photo updates, so you’ll always know your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and they always make life much more fun, caring for animals is my whole life, there’s nothing I enjoy more. The days I am available I will be with the dogs all day, and always going on walks, along with my Italian greyhound. I will work my schedule around the times i schedule with the animals. In my home i take the dogs out as much as the clients want, I provide comfort and i nice peaceful place for the animal to hangout!

He has a backyard with a deck and when I arrived to pick her up, she greeted me but went back to her spot on the deck and would have been happy to stay, I think! James sent a photo and video when I texted to see how she was doing and that was reassuring.
