Kseniia was amazing with our dog. It was his first time being away from us for an extended period of time and she went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. He was def on high alter in a new place, but she was so patient with him! I also really appreciated the daily pics and videos and her patience with us as our flights got changed and cancelled multiple times.

Our two dogs were very comfortable and happy there. One of our dogs has a lot of anxiety and does not like many people at all. She was very happy with Spencer and Emily. they obviously really love dogs! We highly recommend them!

Kelly took excellent care of my 12 year old pup. Kelly is communicative and asked great questions before we met, as well as during the meet & greet. She stayed in touch throughout and sent pictures, my pup looked so happy! I had no reason to worry while I was away and my pup was comfortable and content when I arrived to pick her up. We would absolutely book with Kelly again.

Jessica was awesome with my pups! It was last minute and a puppy 4 months old with lots of energy. When I pulled in to pick them up and they were out playing with the kids I knew I made the right choice. She made me feel as though I could enjoy my weekend away and that the dogs would be fine. This was my first time using a sitter and couldn't have asked for better!

Khaila is incredible! She is a true dog lover and very knowledgeable. There are few people I trust with my dogs, and she's one of them! I know my dogs will be in good hands with Khaila, and she's my first choice in sitter in the Saco area. She's flexible with plans, responsive, and very communicative. I appreciate the updates she shares with me, and I know I don't have to worry when my dogs are being watched by her. Thank you Khaila!

About: I grew up with dogs and I miss the pure joy they have for this world. I can't own one with my current situation, but would love to look after yours. I'm a working professional who is kind and courteous. If you want me to know anything ask, feel free to ask! -Alex I work a full time remote job, with easy morning and evening walking times. The afternoon tends to be a bit busier for me so I may not be able to take an extended break but can make sure your pup has plenty of bathroom breaks and long walks. I am kind and courteous of other people's space. I offer sitting in your space or walks, because my apartment doesn't allow me to have dogs.

Kym and Robert have taken care of our dog, Rosie, multiple times over the last couple of years. They are reliable, caring, and keep us updated with photos and messages while we are away. Rosie is always happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we return home. It gives us real peace of mind knowing Rosie is in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Kym and Robert to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

About: Lifelong dog lover with plenty of availability for long morning walks. I am a current medical student with a flexible schedule, available for last‑minute walks or overnight stays for the right family. I look forward to getting to know you! I’m a first‑year medical student currently on summer vacation, which gives me plenty of free time throughout the week. I’m available for both morning and afternoon walks, depending on what your dog needs. My days are flexible, so I can easily fit regular weekly walks or occasional check‑ins into my routine. I care for pets in their own home so they can stick to their normal routine. I handle feeding, walks, and any instructions you leave, and make sure your dog gets steady attention throughout the day. My focus is keeping things calm, consistent, and comfortable for your pup.

We are so fortunate to have found Andy and his lovely family on Rover! We boarded our 2 yo Frenchie Bertie overnight and she had a ball with his 3 Italian Greyhounds! Andy was super welcoming and communicative. We felt Bertie was in great hands with a family that seemed to love her as much as we do!

Christina was excellent! We booked her months in advance and planned a meet up for the month before. Communication was top notch & I felt extremely comfortable leaving my dog with her for the weekend. Our dog is massive, not great on leash, and has reactive tendencies. Christina never hesitated and made sure she had all the information she needed. Christina treated our dog as her own. I would happily book again and recommend her to anyone needing care!

FAQs for Dog Boarding - Gorham

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Gorham on Rover is $46.62 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 313 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Gorham. About 96% of Gorham sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in ME ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
