About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. Spending time with animals truly makes me happy, and I would love to give your dog the same love, attention, and care that I would give my own. I’ve looked after dogs in my home and understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs love long walks and playtime, while others just want a quiet companion nearby. I’ll happily follow your dog’s routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. What really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care. I pay close attention to the little details, carefully follow your instructions, and treat every pet like family. I’ll also send regular photos and updates, so you’ll always know your furry friend is happy and well cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m available for afternoon walks during the week, as well as boarding. Your dog will have regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. My dog Lupo usually takes a bit to warm up to strangers and can be reactive when afraid; someone who is overly gushy and touchy-feely immediately upon meeting would be Lupo's idea of a nightmare. Christina listened to my suggestions and respected Lupo's space as I let her out of the car. But Lupo decided immediately that Christina was not just a friend, but a BEST friend. Lupo literally ran up and hugged Christina within minutes of meeting her. This is not typical Lupo behavior so I knew Lupo was in good hands. Christina kept me posted with pictures and updates, and I could tell Lupo was comfortable and relaxed and most importantly HAPPY. I would not hesitate to book again with Christina. She is a gem!
We had an amazing experience with Kelly! She took the time to host a meet and greet with our dog to make sure she was comfortable with her and in her home. Kelly was fantastic about giving us updates and was so great with our dog, who can certainly be a diva at times! We can’t thank Kelly enough and would recommend her to anyone!
