I am able to care for animals for around 30-40hrs a week. I am used to working a full time job with animals and enjoy being able to spend my day working them.

A typical day
We can go on a sniffari (a walk to sniff areas they don't usually get to sniff), do a food puzzle, or practice basic commands. I love teaching dogs new skills!

Pet care experience
Nice to meet you, I'm Jay. Since 2015, I've cared for anxious, reactive, or happy-go-lucky pups. From a shelter environment to dog walking, doggy daycare, and vet emergency rooms, I've had hands-on experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I'm currently studying positive reinforcement training and have successfully supported 20+ reactive dogs in a day to day enrichment program tailored to each of their needs from Sept 24-June 25 before fully focusing on one on one services.

Jay took good care of Iris while I was away over the holidays. I had requested daily communication, and Jay sent a picture or comment every day. When I had questions, Jay responded immediately. Iris was clearly well cared-for, and her coat has never looked better, thanks to Jay's grooming. Jay left the house clean and organized. We had travel interruptions and were unable to fly home as planned, and Jay helpfully agreed to stay on longer than planned.
