“In NEED of a dog walker while recovering from foot surgery, I found Alejandro here on Rover. I chose Alejandro after reading many walker profiles and one review stood out which ultimately helped me make the decision. Alejandro has been very easy to work with, I booked for reoccurring walks for the time I am incapacitated, he has a planned vacation in the middle of my needs. We worked out a schedule that would meet both of our needs. After a few days of being laid up, no one was helping with my pups morning walks. Asked Alejandro if he was available to do mornings and he could! What good luck?! Communication has been great, pup is panting and happy when he gets home, and the rate fits my budget. Thank you Alejandro! Enjoy your vacation and we will see you when you return!”

“Matt was great! He was communicative from the meet and greet through a full week of 2x day walks, he always provided an update on how things were going. He was caring and patient with my dog and punctual for all walks! Thank you Matt!”

“Andy has been walking my dog fairly regularly for over 6 months now and I can’t recommend him enough. He is always timely in his response and communicates very clearly. I would recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a loving and responsible dog walker.”

“Even after the front door locked Nicholas out, he and his wife still stayed with cooper until I was able to come home. They did not accept my cash tip I offered for being so patient, and they only had things to praise cooper for. Great walkers and great people!”

“Meagan is awesome! She was so excited to meet Knox the first time and went above and beyond with him on their walks! We really appreciated the pictures and notes from their time together. Meagan also shows up promptly and left me with a tired and happy puppy! Highly recommend!”

“Megan was able to make a time work before her job which was much appreciated. Our pup was well taken care of, and enjoyed the much needed time to stretch his legs!”

About: Hi, My name is Muriel and I am originally from France. I moved to the US 10 years ago and I miss having pets in my life! I used to cat sit there (home and people's home) for 4 years. My family also owned cats and dogs when I was younger. I am used to them and they get easily used to me! At home, it's me, my husband and our 5 year old girl. Julia is very gentle with animals and i taught her to respect them. We have a house with a fenced yard. Can't wait to meet your pet! I am working full time from home, from 8 to 5 pm. I'll be happy to have a cat keep me company! Our daughter goes to school from 8:30 to 5pm. We allow cats to use our furniture and sleep with us (hopefully!!!!) Because I work remotely, I spend most of the day at home with your cat. I love to play with them using little strings or aluminum foil balls. My daughter Julia will also help with that part of course! I change the litter several times a day to avoid smells. I am also happy to brush/comb your cat :)
About: I grew up taking care of animals and truly couldn’t imagine life without them. These days, I spend most of my time with my 7-year-old Aussie Collie, Mako. He’s full of energy and absolutely loves the company of other dogs—especially on our long walks, beach runs, and hikes. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of free time to care for and spend time with your pets. I love being outside and spend most of my days walking around town, so I’d be thrilled to have some furry companions join me. Whether it’s a long walk, some playtime, or just keeping your pets company, I’m reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy being around animals. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for pets—whether in my home or yours. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and any special needs so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible. In your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your instructions closely, and maintain your pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. In my home, pets have a safe, clean, and cozy environment, with plenty of supervised time outdoors, enrichment, and affection. I always keep a close eye on interactions between pets, especially during introductions, to ensure everyone feels safe and happy. Your pet’s well-being is my number one concern, and I take that trust seriously
“Tiffany has done a great job with Madison! She is very responsive and checks in often. He looks forward to his walks and tlc time with her. Tiffany has been very flexible and patient with Madx especially since he has had a slight muscle injury and sometimes needs a modified walk. Would book again and again!”

“I am very grateful for Katherine! My 15yo son who usually walks our dog woke up this morning with a very sore throat and not feeling well. Katherine responded quickly and agreed to walk Duke on very short notice. She arrived on time and was so nice. I definitely would ask her walk Duke in the future.”

About: My pet care experience began when I was a child. Grew up having dogs and other pets in the house. It was the norm for me. That is until college came about and then moved to a large city. Having a pet wasn't viable during those years. This pattern broke when I found myself being asked to house sit for friends that I was also being asked to hang out with their pets while they were gone. I soon began to be a go to person for a few close friends to babysit their pets and plants. The skills that I have with pets are being able to understand them with body language. Hence the nick name dog whisperer. I am currently working part time and have Wednesdays and Thursdays, including the weekend available. Any time of the day of those specifically are perfectly feasible to accommodate care from me. I follow the diet guidelines given to me and don't alter from it. Outside of that, I make sure they are treated with love and attention throughout my time with them. Walks, play time, relax time...it all has a moment through within the day.
About: I’ve dogsat for family friends and grown up with animals. At home I have 3 Great Danes (one that I show professionally) so I am very familiar with animal behavior. Currently I live in an apartment with my roommate and her service dog Rambit. I’m currently working full time, but my schedule is the same every week and I am able to work around my schedule to dogsit. I usually have nights off and am available to stay anywhere overnight and have reliable transportation. I feel as though caring for animals when they are without their parents is very important. Making sure they are fed, let out, properly exercised and played with and loved.
