Hello! My name is Hannah O'Reilly. I am twenty years old and I am currently attending FGCU. I have experience dog sitting for family friends. Last year, I volunteered at the Shy Wolf Sanctuary. I have also grown up with dogs (specifically huskies) my whole life. I am from Maine and have three dogs there that I miss very much when I am at school. I know how important exercise is for dogs but I also know how busy life can get. I want to help out the pet owners who may not have the time. I feel confident in my abilities to handle all different types of dogs but would like to highlight my experience with huskies. I know for many owners, myself included, it can be hard to find someone who understands the extra time and work that goes into caring for huskies. If you are looking for someone with specific experience with huskies, I am eager to help! I will be available most weekends at anytime for dog walking and/or check ins. I am also available during the week when I am not attending class. I have a very lenient schedule that offers me to be able to accept most walks, even without much notice. During the week, I will be around after 3pm for afternoon and evening care. If you have any questions about availability please do not hesitate to ask as I will usually be able to work around my class schedule and be able to give you more information on times.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I will always keep dogs on their leash and collar at all times when outside of your home. I will also pick up after them and make sure to respect your home.
Pets
A typical day
For check-ins: I will first let them have a chance to go to the bathroom and be outside (leashed if no fenced in yard). If I notice your dog is more hyper and energetic, I will try to run around and play with your dog. Before leaving, I will try to get your dog to be relaxed and lay down. I will also fill up their water bowl (unless instructed otherwise.) Let me know how long you would like your check-in to be! For dog walking: I will go inside and greet your pup and make sure they seem relaxed and happy enough for a walk. Then I will leash them with your preferred leash and collar. I will then walk them around your road, making sure to pick up after your dog and keep them safe. After the walk, I will make sure they have plenty of water (unless instructed otherwise) before leaving.
