Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! We are happy to crate your dogs - we’re even happy to have them in our bedroom and on the couch if they prefer!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will make sure to follow whatever schedule you have for them. I will take them out to play often and give them lots of love.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of family and friends since I was in my teens, but more extensively in college and since. For 3 years I boarded and sat for three different family friends. I’ve personally helped raise 3 dogs and 2 cats. I’ve even helped herd sheep and tamed alpacas! My apartment is always very quiet despite being downtown, but I would hope to find activities we could do in and around Portland to help keep them active and entertained.
