“Cindy takes wonderful care of her dog. She is very attentive her dog and makes sure he has plenty of love and attention. She took care of my 6month old puppy for 3 months and loved her like she was her own. I have watched her take care of my sisters dogs where she often would take them to the dog park and for car rides to make their days joyful. I would definitely recommend Cindy as a Rover dog caregiver.”

“We had a wonderful experience leaving our dog Willow with Alma! She was very communicative before and during the booking which always makes the Rover process feel easier and more reassuring. Alma’s dog, Birdy, is super sweet as well. Willow seemed comfortable right away and according to Alma settled in more as the day went on. Great yard, deck for doggie lounging and overall set up from the house (super easy to see the yard from most parts of the downstairs). We will definitely book again. Highly recommend!”

“Lacey, Chad, and Joseph were amazing hosts!! Hazel was happy, tired and thriving upon pick up. Lacey was very informative and welcoming and they have a beautiful and safe set up for your 4 pawed family members. If I could give more than 5 stars I surely would. We needed a sitter in a pinch when ours wasn’t available and Lacey was quick to respond and help us out so that all of us (including Hazel) could have a fun day trip! She kept me up to date throughout the day with pictures and updates, providing lots of toys and games for Hazel so she wouldn’t be bored and loved on her like she was her own. I will definitely recommend Lacey and her fam to anyone who needs a sitter in the Southern Maine area and we definitely will inquire again. Thanks so much guys!!”

About: Every dog has their own unique personality. I take great joy in getting to know every dog I meet and spend time with. They are not just pets they are our companions our best friends, our family. I have two dogs and two cats of my own so I understand how hard it can be to leave them and know that they will be well cared for. I look forward to helping to ease some of the stress involved with that. I have many years experience with special needs dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals. I would love to care for your pet in anyway I can. I have a pretty flexible schedule so reach out and find out if I am available, I will do the best I can to accommodate. I very mindful of your home and will leave things as is or as instructed. Our pets can sometimes have accidents and I will always clean up in anyway needed. I try and send you lots of photos of your pet(s) and provide updates. I am the first to reach out if there is anything of concern or in need or urgent attention. My goal is to leave your pet happy, healthy and ready for a nap by the end of my visit.

“We couldn’t say enough about our dogs’ stay with Melissa. We needed dog-sitting on super short notice and Melissa was available and fantastic. Communication was constant, she took our pups out frequently for exercise and bathrooming, and we got pics throughout the day. She was accommodating to both of our dogs, one that is a little hyperactive and domineering, and the other one a little nervous and anxious, and she was great with both. We’d love to have our dogs stay with her on future trips to Portland.”

About: I grew up on a horse farm and have many years of pet care experience ranging from puppy to elder dog care, as well as cat and horse care. I have offered private pet sitting and dog walking services throughout the years.I am first aid certified and have participated in some basic dog training classes.My family and I have a two year old Border Collie who loves to share his space with other dog friends. I currently have a flexible weekday work schedule and open weekends that I would love to fill the gaps with taking care of your loved one. I have a partially fenced in yard on a dead end street and have a two year old Border Collie to keep your pet company. We are happy to make trips to the beach during dog friendly hours and live close to many walking trails for outdoor adventures. We also have a very dog educated 9 year old kid who loves to give pup snuggles just as much as we do!
