I primarily work from home, and I prioritize ample playtime in our yard and long walks for my dog and our guests. I’ll customize my routine to suit your pet’s specific needs and energy level, and can accommodate elderly dogs or those with mobility challenges.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious fenced yard, and a friendly dog to keep your pup company. I live near some great trails where I regularly bring my dog. With your permission, I’ll include walks on the trails . However, dogs larger than 40 lbs. who aren’t leash trained are usually exercised in my yard. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but I’m comfortable allowing supervised, free rein in my house and yard.

Information Jennifer B. would like to know about your pet
Since I have a dog of my own, and sometimes watch other dogs, I cannot accept dogs with aggressive tendencies. Also, out of respect for my neighbors, dogs who are problem barkers or howlers, should not book with me. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs. The more I know about your pup, the better! If your dog regularly attends doggy daycare, or visits dog parks, I ask that they are up-to-date with kennel cough vaccines. I'll have to decline bookings for dogs with contagious diseases, or respiratory illness symptoms. Ensuring the health and safety of the dogs I board, and my own pup, is a top priority.
A typical day
Fun activities include: playtime in my yard, long walks on nearby trails; or if the weather is especially bad, playtime inside and in my spacious basement.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong dog lover, retired teacher, and self-employed artist. I spend most of my day at home, but I’m away for a few hours each day and three hours one evening per week. When I’m home, I can give your pup plenty of love and attention. My top priority is to help your dog feel happy, safe, and well-cared for. And while you’re away, I’ll make sure your pup has the best vacation ever!
Reviews

Jennifer was great! She took Stella last minute for the day. Communicated with pictures throughout the day. I would recommend Jennifer 100%

We have left our precious boy with Jennifer on several previous occasions. This time we left him for almost 2 weeks. I was happy and relieved to see that Max was very happy to see Jennifer and her lovely dog, Maya. This made it so much easier to leave him. Jennifer was wonderful in giving us updates twice each day along with photos and even a video. We could see that he was happy and content. I think he had as good a vacation as we did! I will rebook with Jennifer without hesitation.

This is the third time we have left our pup with Jennifer. She does a great job of sending daily (twice daily) updates and photos. We know Max is well cared for and well loved when he stays there. He loves Maya as well!
Jennifer B. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
