“Melissa was great. She cat sat for our older cat who usually doesn’t like people but he loved Melissa. She sent me photos and updates every day which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Melissa and will definitely use her again for any per sitting.”

About: I have been working with dogs and cats professionally since May of 2012 with my primary focus on dog walking. From puppies to seniors, I have walked and pet sat all temperaments of dogs. Additionally, I have a year and a half of basic dog training experience, which also included working with reactive and anxious dogs. Being fluent in dog body language is essential! Subcutaneous injections are also a part of my skill set, as I used to have a diabetic cat that needed insulin injections twice daily as well as a client that needed Adequan injections twice a week. I am available any day of the week for walks and drop ins from about 7am - 8pm. Please don’t hesitate yo reach out, I would love to hear from you I have been walking dogs and doing drop ins for cats and dogs professionally for over 13 years. I am now available full time for care in the Standish and Gorham areas. I LOVE my job! Taking care of dogs and cats was my heart’s calling and I’ve never looked back. Getting to know your furry critters and building a trusting, mutually beneficial relationship with them is my favorite thing in the world. Every dog and cat has a unique personality and I enjoy learning what works (and what doesn’t work!) for them and lovingly cater to their specific needs, likes, and dislikes. When caring for dogs in my home, they have constant supervision and are free to roam the living space. This is ideal for dogs with separation anxiety! I will do all walks, outdoor playtimes, and potty breaks on leash, as often as they need. If the dog likes, they will sleep in bed with me and my pug mix!
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routines, and needs — from playful pups to calm seniors — and I adapt my care to fit each one. With decades of experience in caregiving, I bring patience, reliability, and a gentle touch to every visit. I am newly retired and have plenty of time to play with your pet. I am an energetic person who loves to walk and hike. keep up with your pet is no problem for me. I keep pets safe by following owner instructions, securing the home, monitoring behavior, maintaining routines, and giving constant, loving attention and supervision. Safety is important to me.
“Danielle is amazing! She is highly dependable and responds in a short period of time giving us peace of mind. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter. She has gone the extra with us and are so thankful to have her care for our baby girl.”

“Lisa did an exceptional job watching my two cats for a week. She provided a daily update and photos and was very responsive. She went above and beyond and I highly recommend her.”

“Kayla came through for us in a pinch when our prior sitter was unavailable. She's professional, responsive and picked up our routine with no issues or problems. She gave us daily updates with photos and our pups seemed happy, relaxed and comfortable when we returned. Would definitely recommend.”
“This was the first time I have been away from my pets for an extended period of time. Nicole was great, very reassuring, and I was so thrilled to see her daily pictures. Even it was me. My cat was hissing at her.🤣 I highly recommend her for pet sitting”

“Sara is without a doubt our fave cat lady! She goes above and beyond to give pets, snuggles, playtime and takes the best photos when we’re gone. She can handle any insane feeding and medicine requests and is super responsive while we’re away and even when we’re back! She has great insight due to previous medical training, even handling chemo meds and waste. We’re always super happy when she’s free and we need to get away! Thanks Sara!”

“Maegan was an excellent sitter for my cat “Bear”. She was a great communicator! My cat is rather anxious and skiddish around strangers but Maegan was very gentle and kind with Bear. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Maegan sent me pictures and comments regularly. Very pleased with her services. I will definitely reach out to Rover for Maegan’s services again. I felt comfortable with her in my home. Very trustworthy.”

“Anna was great dropping in to check on our cat while we were away. She is reliable and even braved the bad winter storm we had to check on our cat. We appreciate her and won’t hesitate to book with her next time.”

“Amy is so great and I'm so thankful we found her. One of our cats declines to use the litter box and Amy is such a champ and rolls with it. She sends tons of pictures when she visits of her petting the kitties and them eating their dinners. She brought in a package for us as well. I have such anxiety leaving the pets but it's such a comfort knowing Amy is stopping by each night. Would recommend her to anyone with cats.”

“Hannah is the BEST!!! I had to be in and out of town for work for two weeks, although my schedule was not consistent at all Hannah was up for the last-minute challenge of watching over Maisey and adhering to my crazy schedule. Hannah showed up on time and spent her time with Maisey (a true senior citizen) giving her the love and attention I hoped for. Turns out I have another crazy week coming up and Hannah was quick to sign up for more visits. Hannah is a true 5 star!!!”
About: Both of my parents were dog breeders while I was growing up, so I have life-long experience with puppies and adult dogs. I train Tamaskan puppies on my mom’s farm. I work well with cockapoos, corgis, plott hounds, Dutch shepherds and retrievers, since they're breeds I'm used to. I'm positive, however, that any dog can be charmed, and have never run into one that I couldn't. I volunteered at shelters and groomers growing up. I did an animal behavior project in Highschool for an extensive period of time. I worked with a 2yr dog with mange and seperation anxiety for 8 months. In 2 months she was house trained, crate trained, whistle trained (for speed while walking:slow or speed up, heel) and knew basic commands. Uses safe vegetable and fruits for dogs as treats. I also have experience with cats, rats, birds, turtles and snakes. Any extra pets will be charged more for care if required of me. On vacation, so I have spare time to spend with some cute animals! I have a cat, but I take care of Tamaskans a few days a week. I love going out for walks with a dog. My first week staying with my sister was amazing because she has 3 dogs (1 foster) that are all super high energy.
About: I had had three dogs in the time since I was six years old, one being a lab mix and two being Dobermans. I have experience with reactive dogs subsequently, and am not afraid of big or little dogs at all, even if they aren’t the nicest. I have done several week-long dog sits for a former client, as well as a three-week long dog sit for a coworker. I loving long walks myself, and they are even better with a furry companion. I currently work mornings usually until 3, so I would be happy to do some evening walks for those who work late, home-sit and go to the house on my lunch break as well, or do drop ins as needed. I currently work mornings usually until 3, so I would be happy to do some evening walks for those who work late, home-sit and go to the house on my lunch break as well, or do drop ins as needed. I have two days off per week that are usually week days and occasionally I do have to work nights, so I have a lot of flexibility. Do not hesitate to reach out! I live in an apartment with two other roommates and none of us have pets. Dogs and cats alike are more than welcome to sleep on the bed or furniture, and I have plenty of places for them to hang out as well as necessary equipment (water and food bowls, litter box, litter). We have an unfenced yard, and live on a very quiet and safe residential street that is near a trail along Fore River.
“Thank you so much, Jessica for taking care of Duke for us today! I know he really appreciated the break. Appreciate you very much! Have a great day and we will keep you posted when we will need to book again!. 🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾”

About: Been watching homes and pets for neighbors and loved ones since I was a kid, have continued to do so for acquaintances and friends of friends and have a developed a small network of folks who count me as dependable, professional, and more than competent. My schedule is currently super flexible and I can likely be available whenever you need. Longer stays or overnight stays are also easy to accommodate! Cannot currently accept any pets at my apartment, but happy to bring the dog to a park, let them out in your yard, go for a walk around the block, or just hang out inside with whichever pets need company!
