About: I grew up with a Maine Coon and currently have 2 cats of my own. I got my first cat at 15 that I have been the sole caregiver of since then. She’s 11 now and has some medical needs, so I’m familiar with oral medication administration as well as senior care. I got my second cat in 2020 as a rescue when he was still a kitten. He’s been leash trained, sits on command, and is the biggest cuddle bug. From young to old I have experience with all sorts of cats.

About: I love animals and have been around dogs my whole life helping friends and family. I’ve helped with my brothers lab since he was a little puppy 2 years ago, dog sitting, training, and walking him and now my girlfriend and I have a chocolate lab of our own named Ivy! About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

About: I’ve been a loving parent to both cats and dogs for 25 years. I love animals and am happy to accommodate walk schedules, medications, injections, and of course, lots of playtime and scritches! My pup and I do pretty much whatever we want, whenever we want. I have a flexible work schedule and am often at home, so can accommodate desired potty break and walk times, medications, preferred activities (beach, dog park, hanging out at the house.) My pup is always ready for company and activity, but knows when it’s time to relax. I live in a private house set far back from the street, with a large, well kept (but unfenced) 1.5 acre yard. My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. He loves playtime with other dogs, but is respectful of the quieter styles of older dogs or dogs just needing rest. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.

Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! “Baxter had such a great stay with Anne, we love her. This was my first time boarding him, he's a nervous but very social young rescue. He had so much fun playing with Anne's dogs and was so comfortable with Anne. There is a beautiful yard and a very comfortable house they have the run of. I got lots of pictures and updates! We'll definitely be boarding here again!”
