About: Hi there! We’re Amanda and Austen, a couple based in Scarborough with a dog of our own (our Mini Aussie, Mazie) and a lot of love to share with yours. When Amanda’s not caring for her sweet group of five-year-olds or Austen’s not out playing tennis, we’re spending time with Mazie, chasing seagulls at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or snuggling up on the couch after a snowy play session. We love active days just as much as laid-back ones, and we’re happy to match whatever energy your pup brings. We both grew up in homes with animals- at one point, Amanda had five dogs and a cat! We have cared for dogs of all breeds and energy levels, from teacup-size rescues to large-breed couch potatoes, plus plenty of other animals over the years (including Sparkles the Bearded Dragon, Amanda’s current classroom pet). We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced-in backyard that dogs love to explore. Austen works from home full-time, so your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day, and we share responsibilities depending on the care your pet needs. Whether it’s a weekend adventure, daily daycare, or a cozy overnight stay, we’re here to make your dog feel happy, safe, and loved. We offer care throughout the week and are happy to accommodate weekends, holidays, and special requests as our schedule allows. Austen works from home and provides consistent weekday care and supervision, while Amanda handles most weekend walks, drop-ins, and house sitting when needed. Between the two of us, your pet will never go long without company, playtime, or a potty break. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute trip, we’ll work with you to make sure your pup is happy and cared for. Our day care rate is based on an 8 hour day. We're happy to have your dog with us for longer, but we may ask for an additional fee based on the number of hours. We know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. That’s why we always begin with a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable with us, and you’re confident in the care we provide. We take a gentle, respectful approach, especially with shy or anxious dogs, and we’ll always ask for your guidance on what makes your pup feel safe and secure. Whether we’re in your home or ours, we want to provide a low-stress, enriching environment with plenty of attention, structure, and love. We’re also happy to provide regular updates (with photos!) and check-ins during every visit or stay, so you’re always in the loop - because we’d want the same from someone watching Mazie.

About: Have had a wonderful cockapoo for nearly 6 years. I have perfected my art of walking and if schedules align would love to bring your dog along too! Usually available before 7am then 930-3pm and again in the late evening if needed. Caring for my own dog and family and when possible your dog, too! I have a very dog friendly home for my dog. I use a leash in my own yard for my dog. If working in another persons home I would respect their rules and expectations on caring for their dog.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and have had three dogs and two cats over the years. I’m currently raising a golden retriever puppy with my family and absolutely love spending time with dogs. Friends have always trusted me to watch their pets while they’re out of town because they know I treat every animal like family. I’m the kind of person who stops people on the street just to ask if I can pet their dog. Caring for animals genuinely makes me happy, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently between jobs, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to give your pets the attention, care, walks, and love they deserve. I care for every pet like my own, always putting their safety, comfort, and happiness first. I stay alert on walks, careful around other dogs, people, traffic, and our surroundings to make sure pets feel safe and secure at all times. I also have a fenced yard for safe play and experience caring for and crate training puppies since I currently have 2 dogs.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life—from Cavapoos to Corgis to Wheaten Terriors to Doodles, to Boxers! I’ve also had the pleasure of having a Goldendoodle of my own as well! My sweet pup was in an accident and required lots of specific care such as wound care and medication administration for many months. I am a very patient and dedicated pet sitter and will treat your pet like my own. I’ll keep them safe, make sure they get the attention they need, and assure that you get the updates you crave while away from your bestie. I absolutely love animals and I also know how challenging it can be to have peace of mind while maintaining your life responsibilities outside of your furry friends—I hope to have the opportunity to take that stress off of your plate! I’m currently in grad school for Speech Language Pathology (classes are online until January 2027) and work per diem at the hospital. I have two shifts per week serving at a restaurant in Portland as well, they are typically 6-8 hour shifts so if booked for an overnight, there may be a day or two that I am away for that amount of time! Otherwise, my schedule is super flexible and perfect for that mid day potty and play break! Safety is first! You tell me how you like things to go in your home and what makes your pet the most comfortable and I’ll make sure it happens! Let me know if your pet has any anxieties in public and I’ll keep in mind ways to keep them happy and calm on walkies!

About: I am an animal lover who has a flexible schedule! In my free time I would love to hang with your pets while you are at work, running errands or are away. I am currently in grad student so my schedule is flexible! Whether that be walking your dog in between or after class and/or checking in on your kitty I am flexible. In my own home, I care for my cat by maintaining a consistent feeding schedule, keeping his litter box clean, providing fresh water daily, and making sure he gets plenty of playtime and affection.

About: Hi, I’m Katie! I’ve owned and cared for both dogs and cats all my life. I currently have one kitty named Joni at home, but have lots of past experience with pups. I’ve cared for pets who take meds and tend to be on the anxious side. I’m excited to spend time with your best friend(s)! I work full-time, but have a fairly flexible schedule and can accommodate working from home and breaks to check in on your pet. I’m generally free on evenings and weekends, as well. I’ll follow your lead to make our time together the most safe and comfortable experience possible for your pet. Feel free to set up a meet-and-greet beforehand to go over any special instructions.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes from 10lbs to 100+ lbs, ages puppy to senior, all with various temperaments, energy levels and medical needs. I’ve also cared for many cats ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old I’m a middle school teacher on summer break with A LOT of availability. I regularly free weekdays during the day through the evening and even available at night and through the night most days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard with that’s mostly shaded by surrounding trees. With easy access from a back deck. We also have a screened in porch for good airflow on hotter days. I live in a nice and walkable neighborhood and I regularly visit local walking/hiking trails in the area.
