About: Hi! I’m an experienced, dependable animal lover who understands that your pets are family. My goal is to provide exceptional care while giving you complete peace of mind whenever you’re away. I have years of hands-on experience caring for pets and have worked alongside my sister in her successful pet sitting business, which has proudly served the Greater Portland area for over 15 years. Through that experience, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, plenty of attention, and lots of belly rubs (if they approve!). Whether your pet needs a midday walk, drop-in visits, overnight care, or extra companionship while you’re away, I’m committed to keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. You can expect reliable communication, photo updates, and careful attention to any special instructions, medications, feeding schedules, or routines. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and making both pets and their owners feel comfortable. To ensure everyone is a great fit, I require a meet-and-greet before all new bookings. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, answer any questions, and help your pet feel comfortable before our first visit. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member and provide the loving care they deserve! I work full-time during the weekdays, but pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, as well as overnight stays depending on my schedule. I strive to be flexible and will always communicate clearly about my availability. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care that fits your pet’s routine and gives you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I treat every home with the utmost respect and every pet as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular updates and photos during each visit, so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing. I also require a meet-and-greet before new bookings to ensure we’re a great fit and to help your pet feel comfortable before our first visit.
About: Hi! I’m a 19 year old lifelong animal lover who has grown up surrounded by dogs and I truly can’t imagine life without them. This past summer, I worked at a busy doggy daycare where I cared for multiple dogs at once, including overnights. No matter how many pups I’m watching, each one gets my full attention, love, and care. I’ve also dog sat for many families over the years, including anxious or shy dogs who need extra patience. When I was just 14, I was trusted to care for a very anxious pup who hadn’t connected with anyone else after several interviews until she met me. That experience showed me how much of a difference the right sitter can make. Whether your pet is energetic, nervous, or just needs some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I treat every animal like family, and their happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I am currently a college student at UNE. My only restrictions are a few classes on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. I am free weekends and I can also drive on weekdays before and after classes! I am unable to keep pets in my home as I am living in a dorm, but I am open to come to any home and stay!

About: I grew up with ferrets and guinea pigs, and currently have a dog! I've been pet-sitting for years, and have cat-sit for multiple families in my neighborhood. 🐈❤️ I'm currently working in Maine for the summer! I typically work 10-3 pm M-F, but am free most evenings and weekends. Feel free to reach out with any questions:) I am not currently offering in-home care, but I'm willing to come to yours! My main experience is with cats: providing them with wet and dry food, cleaning their litterbox, changing out their water, and playing with them. I have also dog-sit for dogs in my own home, with the main responsibilities being feeding them and bringing them on walks. However, I am flexible in terms of responsibilities and what works best for you and your pet. 🐾
About: I am an Animal Behavior student with professional experience in dog daycare, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation. I have hands-on experience working with dogs, cats, rabbits, small animals, reptiles, and rehabilitating wildlife in both professional and personal settings. Through my education and experience, I have developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and body language, allowing me to recognize signs of stress or discomfort and create a safe, calm, and positive environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. My schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I also work part-time in animal care, so my hours can occasionally vary, but I always do my best to accommodate different schedules and provide dependable, loving care for every pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I have experience working with animals in daycare, boarding, training, educational animal programs, and wildlife rehabilitation, so I understand how important patience, supervision, and routine are. I always respect owners’ instructions and work to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

About: I have taken care of 25+ dogs and cats in the past 3 years, to include in home/overnight pet- and house-sitting, dog walking, brushing, litter box maintenance and pill-based medication administration. When taking care of other people’s pets, I provide the attention and care that I was seeking for my own cat and dog (who, sadly, are no longer with me.) My top priority is the safety of the pet, and to that end, I take no risks with the animals in my care – food protocols are carefully followed, walks are always on leash and doors are carefully monitored to ensure indoor cats remain indoors. With my pet care services, you will have: • Happy, safe and well-cared-for pets • A clean and orderly (tidy) home • Clear and timely communication • Regular and frequent updates (with photos and videos of your pets) • Reliable and dependable pet and home care As a recently-retired educator, I have a very flexible schedule, with plenty of time for your pets. I am available for daily walks, overnight or weekend house sits (your house or mine) and vacation sits (1-4 weeks is typical). When starting a new relationship with a client and their pet(s), I schedule a brief ‘pop over’ appointment where I can meet the animal(s) in the presence of their humans. This helps everyone involved – pets and humans – get to know me and feel comfortable with me before I take on the responsibility for the pet. I take care to be calm around the pets I sit - I let both cats and dogs take their time to warm up to me (come to me when they are ready, sniff my hands, my person, my things). I am careful when feeding animals - particularly dogs - giving them space. I follow the pet's routine - if they sleep on the bed, I let them sleep on the bed; if they like to go in and out frequently, I let them go in and out frequently. I try to make them as comfortable as I can, in their human's absence.
About: Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a remote worker based in Saco, Maine. I have a very sweet lab/boxer mix Tilly who gets along well with other dogs. I grew up caring for multiple dogs, cats and rabbits and have also pet-sat for family, friends and roommates quite a bit. I feel confident with all breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m home almost all day and have a very flexible schedule. I offer walks and drop-ins in the Saco area, but I’m happy to travel farther for house sitting. Just message me if you have any questions - I’d love to meet your fur babies! I work remotely as a freelance designer so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available throughout the day for drop-ins and walks and can do overnights with enough notice. I am very respectful of how others prefer to care for their pets and their homes. I will treat your beloved pet like my own and make sure to follow your outlined instructions for them. Keeping your pet safe and comfortable while you are away is key!
About: Need a sitter you can trust? I’m your person. I’m looking to connect with more great pets and their people! I’ve been pet sitting for over 18 years and have had animals of my own since childhood. I genuinely love befriending pets and giving them the consistency, attention, and comfort they deserve while their people are away. I’ve cared for all types of pets and farm animals and am happy to adapt to whatever each one needs. Medications, special diets, anxious pets, specific routines, or a dog who thinks every walk should be an expedition? I’m on it. While I’m newer to Rover, I’m definitely not new to pet sitting. Most of my experience has been through word of mouth and repeat clients who trust me with their animals. I have great reviews, and many of my happiest clients have simply shared my name with others looking for a sitter. I’m also a pediatric Occupational Therapist, so being attentive, responsible, and adaptable is very much part of who I am. I take just as much pride in leaving homes spotless and well cared for as I do in caring for the pets. I’m dependable, communicative, and easygoing. I’ll follow your instructions, keep you updated while you’re away, and make sure your pets get the care and companionship they’re used to. Beach walks, hikes, fetch, couch cuddles—or respectfully sitting across the room while your cat decides whether I’ve earned their trust—I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Reliable care, a cared-for home, and peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your pet the attention they deserve. I genuinely love being around animals, and it brings me joy to care for them, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay. I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their own space, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and cozy spots. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their home—whether it’s house sitting or drop-in visits. It keeps things stress-free for them (and you!). Every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe, happy, and cared for—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, playing their favorite game, or just offering quiet company. Have special requests or unique needs? I’m all ears. Let’s work together to create a care plan that feels just right for your furry friend.
