About: Professional Pet Snuggler, Dog Walker Extraordinaire, and Treat Giver Supreme 🐾 I’m a mom of two young wild and wonderful kids (three, if you count my husband 😄) and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve lived with pets so long, I’m basically fluent in meow, woof, and squeak. With over 5 years of dog-walking experience, I’m comfy with pups of all sizes — from pocket-sized pooches to gentle giants. I’m also totally cool with cats, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even horses. If it has fur (or whiskers), I’m in! Whether your pup needs a brisk walk, your cat needs a snack and a snuggle, or your pet rat just wants someone to chat with — I’ve got you covered. I treat every animal like part of the family (and yes, I do talk to them like they’re tiny humans). Ready to bring joy, treats, and tummy rubs — can’t wait to meet your whiskered pal! As a stay-at-home mom, part-time admin, and dance instructor, I’m no stranger to juggling schedules — and I’ve got the flexibility to fit in pet care when you need it most. Whether it’s during the school year or the summer shuffle, I can usually make it work. Need a midday walk? A last-minute drop-in? A cuddle buddy for your cat while you’re away? I’ve got you covered! I don’t offer pet sleepovers at my place (our house is already a zoo!), but I’m more than happy to come to yours. Your pets will stay comfy in their own cozy corners while I handle the food, walks, belly rubs, and more. I'm super respectful of your home and always treat it like it’s my own. I’m also very mindful of home safety and security — you can count on me to treat your space with respect and care while you’re away.

“Jillian was very attention and kept me well informed of her visit. My pup loved her, and she was big help. I will definitely use Jillian’s services in the future.”

“Lori did a great job taking care of my best friend Ollie, feeding him and taking him on walks. Her son was a big help on their walks and Ollie was always happy to see them:) Lori is a very nice lady and is very dedicated to taking care of our best friends and I would totally recommend her to anyone needing someone to watch their pets.”

“Alex is great with Emmy and lets her lead (stubborn girl!). He also is really responsive and flexible - great to work with to care for our somewhat reactive dog.”

About: I’ve cared for family dogs and a cat my whole life, including senior pets with complex needs—so I understand how important patience and gentle care can be. For the past 5 years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and neighbors, from energetic puppies to older animals needing medication or extra help. I recently moved from Atlanta to the Portland area for a full-time job, and leaving my family dogs behind was one of the hardest parts. I work 4 long shifts a week, which makes having a pet of my own tough—but I have plenty of free time, love, and experience to offer yours. Pet sitting and walking helps fill that gap in my heart, and I treat every pet like family. I work full-time Wednesday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm, but I’m available for walks or check-ins before or after my shifts. I have open availability on Sundays through Tuesdays and plenty of flexibility to offer quality time with your pet. I’m also available for overnight stays—even on my workdays, as long as I can head out by 8am. Pet care fits naturally into my life, and I genuinely enjoy making time for it. While I can’t have pets in my apartment, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in your home where they feel most comfortable. I offer overnight stays, drop-ins, and walks, and can help with feeding, fresh water, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of snuggles. I’m also happy to transport pets if needed. I treat every animal like they’re my own—keeping them safe, happy, and relaxed while you're away.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for the last 21 years, and have prioritize their happiness and care since I’ve been able to handle them on my own. I have about two years of professional dog sitting experience. More specifically I have lots of experience dealing with dogs with health issues. I am able to adapt to dogs of both energy levels, and of all sizes. I currently have a serving position where I work dinner time, so I am able to care for your pets during the morning and afternoon, but my schedule is flexible and I may be able to help out at night depending on the day and time. I live by a very laid-back and non-busy beach with my very friendly dog, who is great with both small and large dogs, and loves to play. I am able to adapt to any environment for pet care, whether it is in the suburbs or a rural area.

About: I have two adopted bully-breed dogs who were a challenge a first to train and walk. It has been so rewarding to see their growth, and how well they do now in all aspects of their lives! Working through each of their individual quirks & triggers has helped me be able to handle all sorts of different dogs, reactions, and situations. I love to give you updates throughout your pups day and/or walk! You'll never be left questioning if they had a good time or not with me! I have a super flexible schedule, so I can fit in walks almost any day/time that works best for you! I can do mornings after 9, any time after that until around 7pm. I can stay at your home if needed overnight for boarding. I can do drop ins throughout the day, short or long walks. I cannot have pets in my home, but I'm happy to stay at your home where your pup is most comfortable so they don't need to change their schedule or get used to a new environment! I'm comfortable giving pills, coaxing shy dogs into eating, and am extremely patient getting dogs to earn my trust. In the past I've made homemade meals for dogs who won't eat with a new person around, and taken them on fun walks to learn that they can trust me. For walks, I'm happy to take your pup in my car to a trail or the beach, or we can walk right from your house. I always make sure dogs are comfortable wherever we're walking, and am sure to do my best to avoid any triggers for reactivity.

“Jacalyn has been incredible with Ivie and Willow! She is always on time and makes sure they get a ton of exercise on their walks. She goes above and beyond to ensure they have fun and are safe!”

“Galina is very patient with my shy and nervous dog. She is very kind and sweet and I could not asked for better. She is an obvious dog lover!”

About: I grew up in the country and was always surrounded by animals. My family and I raised turkeys, chickens, and rabbits. I also had guinea pigs, cats, and dogs. I enjoy being around animals and feel that life would be incomplete without them. If your pet comes to my home, I will respect the rules that you maintain in your home and put them into practice at my home. The same goes for going to your home. Animals respect those that respect them. They are our "Furbabies" and will be treated as such. Your pet will have a relaxing and exciting time while you are away! Enjoy your break and have no worries! :) Thank you for choosing and trusting me to care for your "Furbabies"!

About: My best friend growing up was my golden retriever Sam—he was my buddy for 13 years. I now have had my current best friends (2 dachshunds!) for 10 years. I’ve had experience with nervous dogs and calm dogs; active dogs and couch-potato dogs. I also like to say hi to dogs who approach me on the street! I love dogs and I get so much enjoyment out of walking and snuggling them— it’s like therapy for me. Feeding and playing with them is also high on my list of things that I absolutely love. I’m available for walks, overnights, drop in food and play sessions and pee breaks! Feel free to reach out and inquire about hiring me to take care of you fur babies! My mom Amy, fiancee Abby and I all pet sit together! One or all of us is available any time with some amount of notice! Same day notice is a little bit harder to accommodate but we can usually make that work as well! Dog and cat sitting is a full time job for my mom and I work from home for part of the day every day. Abby and I do the overnights and Amy’s favorite part is coming in for the midday (or any time of day!!) snuggles, games of fetch or ball, and treat giving! We are very respectful of other people's space and homes. We follow every instruction given to or asked of us for taking care of the home and your babies. The goal too, is always to leave your space equal or better than how we found it!

“victoria was very nice. amelia liked her immediately. look forward to having her look after my little nugget often.”

About: Lifelong animal lover, professional treat-giver, and belly-rub expert. Whether your dog needs long sniff-filled walks or your cat just wants someone to respect their throne (and scoop their litter), I’m your person. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy pups to couch-potato cats—and even the occasional goat or chicken. I specialize in personalized care that fits your pet’s unique needs and quirks. Special diets? Meds? Selective social skills? No problem. I adjust to their vibe and routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. While I’m newer to the Rover platform, I’ve been caring for pets for years—mostly through word of mouth and for friends, neighbors, and families who needed someone they could trust. I recently reactivated my account here to expand and connect with more amazing pets (and their humans!). I love staying active and would be thrilled to bring your pup along for beach walks, hiking trails, or just a solid game of fetch in the park—whatever suits their energy level and comfort. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your pet the attention they deserve. I genuinely love being around animals, and it brings me joy to care for them, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay. I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their own space, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and cozy spots. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their home—whether it’s house sitting or drop-in visits. It keeps things stress-free for them (and you!). Every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe, happy, and cared for—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, playing their favorite game, or just offering quiet company. Have special requests or unique needs? I’m all ears. Let’s work together to create a care plan that feels just right for your furry friend.

About: I started dog walking at age 11 and have continued to care for puppies and adult dogs since! I am detail-oriented (scientific researcher), active (former collegiate athlete and current road marathoner/trail runner), and an early riser, so I am ready to provide conscientious care for your big or small, high activity or mellow dog any time! I am currently between jobs (September - November), so I have a lot of flexibility to provide short- and long-term pet care, including high-touch care for animals needing frequent outings or companionship. I am a direct communicator and like to inform pet-owners how their beloved furry friend (or friends) is doing, including photos of the pet or of locked gates, etc. I like to meet owners and pets before the walking or sitting engagement so we can get acquainted before I am the sole caretaker.

“I had the pleasure of having Véronique as my cat Rufus, through Rover, and very happy ! She’s incredibly professional, kind, and attentive to my pet’s needs. From the moment I met her, I could tell she has a genuine love for animals, as her girls. Rufus had a 5* stay there, way more attention and cuddles than he gets at my house (I have a newborn!) . I ll sent back Rufus next time we are away, for sure- he can’t wait!”

Cosmo is a very anxious and reactive dog, and Jenna has always been extra patient with him and consistently goes the extra mile to keep him comfortable and safe. “Brianna did a wonderful job coming to our home and caring for our two dogs. It was a last minute request and she was very flexible. We had many specific requests having two very different dogs. She was good-natured, agreeable and so professional. Already plan on asking her again. Thank you Brianna”

Aria N.
“I am pleased to recommend Aria! She spent a very successful long weekend at home with two big dogs — one mine and one belonging to my daughter. Neither dog is temperamentally suited to being boarded outside the home; the two of them are quirky in different ways but they both LOVED Aria! These two dogs don’t ordinarily live together, and Aria had no problem juggling their varied needs. She supplied enough exercise and engagement to suit each of them. She communicated with me frequently, sending photos of their activities. She transported my younger dog, who suffers from anxiety, to day care; the daycare provider commented on how comfortable my dog was with Aria. I will be traveling again for a longer period in a few months. Knowing Aria is “on the job” will allow me to enjoy the trip without concern for my anxious pup. I can recommend Aria without reservation.”

“Lauren was fantastic—our dogs loved her, and we felt totally at ease leaving both them and our home in her care. She was on time, communicative, and kept everything running smoothly while we were away. Came home to happy pups and a spotless house. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!”

Rose K.
“Rory is amazing!! So great with dogs. She has watched our energetic golden retriever Ripley for two summers. First as a puppy and then this year as a big 70 pound adolescent dog. She is very reliable, and clearly loves dogs. She took him for long walks and was able to manage his energy level easily. She also cared for my son’s anxious 18 pound chihuahua mix, Poppy, and Poppy responded so well to her. I highly recommend her and would trust her completely with my dog and my home.”

Dianne L.

“Dianne was available fairly short notice, took cookie for a nice long walk and gave him his dinner! Will book again for sure!”
