This made it so we could enjoy our time away without worrying about how they were faring at home — we knew for certain that they were in good hands. We would definitely book with Nishat again!!”

“Megan was excellent and wonderful to work with! This was my first time using Rover and so thankful we picked her to check in on my cat Banana. She offered a meet and greet call while we were travelling to get to know us better before her first visit, took lots of pictures during the check ins, treated our home with respect and left a detailed writeup of each visit for us. Highly recommended!”

About: My super strength as a pet caregiver, is my interest in getting to know an animal's personality and working mindfully and respectfully with their nature. I prioritize safety, trust and attention. I've taught young children and raised kittens, puppies and chickens over the last twenty years. As a lover of Great Pyrenees (having raised three) and cats, I have great respect for the subtle and obvious efforts our animals use to communicate with us. I'm experienced with all ages. Senior pets are very dear to me. I've had the honor to provide comforting care for my own animals and provide tender touch, medications, dietary support, and a calm presence through their final months. I also love training and nurturing puppies. I am available to provide individualized day and overnight care for your pet(s) and plants. Contact me to discuss your short-term or longterm needs. I am especially interested in helping people feel at ease during holidays and vacations by providing qualified, experienced multi-day pet care. Mindfulness, kindness, and experience guide my services. I'm happy to travel to care for pets in the comfort of their home or mine! My place was designed for Great Pyrenees. I have a large, protective deck and fenced yard for supervised off-leash, outdoor time.
“Jaclyn and her family were so wonderful for our dear Fred. She was a last minute booking and so accommodating and communicative. She immediately put us at ease for our first Rover experience. She took the time to meet Fred, introduce him to her animals and family and understood what he needed throughout the day. She truly went above and beyond and Fred came back to us a very happy and tired pup. I would recommend Jaclyn to anyone!”

“Khaila provided amazing day care for my almost 2 year old cockapoo when I had a long work day. She was patient and gentle with him despite him being a nervous boy at first. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Our rescue pup Cora has been so well cared for by Alma + Birdy + family - we are so grateful for fun filled days playing in their backyard, going on walks, and chilling while we are at work.”

“Emily and Kieran took a very good care of our dog! They were very accomodating even on the last minute notice, and were very flexible on the timing, which we really appreciate :) They took Ohsam out for a walk several times, gave lots of loves and cuddles. I can see Ohsam had a great time with the family! Would recommend them during our next visit in Portland. Thank you!!”

“Lindsay is fantastic. She has been a lifesaver with our new pup. He always comes home happy and tired, and Lindsay always gives great updates so I know exactly how our pup has been throughout the day. I couldn’t recommend her more.”

“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! I also appreciated getting text and picture updates of how Fern was doing throughout the day. I would definitely reach out to Cody and Cassidy again for dog sitting when we are in the area.”

About: I’ve been a loving parent to both cats and dogs for 25 years. I love animals and am happy to accommodate walk schedules, medications, injections, and of course, lots of playtime and scritches! My pup and I do pretty much whatever we want, whenever we want. I have a flexible work schedule and am often at home, so can accommodate desired potty break and walk times, medications, preferred activities (beach, dog park, hanging out at the house.) My pup is always ready for company and activity, but knows when it’s time to relax. I live in a private house set far back from the street, with a large, well kept (but unfenced) 1.5 acre yard. My dog, Pepper, is an extremely social, playful, but chill and well-behaved 5yr old neutered Jack Russell mix. He loves playtime with other dogs, but is respectful of the quieter styles of older dogs or dogs just needing rest. I have a comfy crate suitable for small to medium dogs (if you crate), lots of toys, and lots of time to engage with your sweetie. The area surrounding my home is safe and quiet, with many options for woodland walks. I live near dog-friendly beaches and the Saco river, so splashing is an option, too! If your dog has good recall, I can provide off-leash time in the 1.5 acre yard. I have a front porch with a protective gate to keep the sunbathers from getting out, and lots of space for indoor play time and resting as well.
About: I’ve loved animals and grew up with them my entire life. I’m most comfortable with dogs and cats, but I can accommodate additional pets with direction and can deal with all different pet personalities quite well! I’m also open and would love something regular where I can stop in and do house calls or walks for those pet parents that had to return to the office! I can be flexible! I understand that your pet is your family, and I take that very very seriously. I promise to always treat them well and have their safety as a top priority.

My family and I have a full setup just waiting to accommodate a pup in need of a stay. We have animal beds, toys, A yard (not fenced in) with a chain run and lots of neighborhood to walk in! We also have a disabled/elderly person in the home with so much love to give to animals with a need for more affection and who can ensure someone is with your furry friend if we need to run an errand. About: Lifelong animal lover, professional treat-giver, and belly-rub expert. Whether your dog needs long sniff-filled walks or your cat just wants someone to respect their throne (and scoop their litter), I’m your person. I’ve cared for everything from high-energy pups to couch-potato cats—and even the occasional goat or chicken. I specialize in personalized care that fits your pet’s unique needs and quirks. Special diets? Meds? Selective social skills? No problem. I adjust to their vibe and routine to make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. While I’m newer to the Rover platform, I’ve been caring for pets for years—mostly through word of mouth and for friends, neighbors, and families who needed someone they could trust. I recently reactivated my account here to expand and connect with more amazing pets (and their humans!). I love staying active and would be thrilled to bring your pup along for beach walks, hiking trails, or just a solid game of fetch in the park—whatever suits their energy level and comfort. Pet care fits naturally into my day—I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your pet the attention they deserve. I genuinely love being around animals, and it brings me joy to care for them, whether it’s a morning walk, midday check-in, or overnight stay. I’m happy to adjust my routine to fit your pet’s needs. I believe pets are happiest in their own space, surrounded by familiar smells, routines, and cozy spots. That’s why I prefer caring for pets in their home—whether it’s house sitting or drop-in visits. It keeps things stress-free for them (and you!). Every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe, happy, and cared for—whether that’s sticking to a feeding schedule, playing their favorite game, or just offering quiet company. Have special requests or unique needs? I’m all ears. Let’s work together to create a care plan that feels just right for your furry friend.
About: I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.
About: Hi there! My name is Rolanda and I’m a 24 yo pedi nurse. I’m an experienced dog sitter who understands that every dog has their own personality and needs. Im also experienced in reactive and senior dogs. My own dog is reactive and through training we’ve been able to work on that successfully. That experience has taught me how to read dog body language, create safe and calm environments, and follow routines that keep them comfortable. I know some dogs need a little more extra patience and space, and I’m confident handling leash walks, structured play, and quiet downtime to fit their unique needs. I’ll treat your pet like my own with lots of love, respect, and attention to detail every time! I work 3 nights a week, which means I’m free most afternoons, evenings and some mornings for walks and drop in visits. My calendar is always updated to reflect my availability! “Emily was great! She was available super last minute when we needed someone to watch our cat for the day and was great at communicating. She sent regular updates throughout the day and our cat was in a great mood when we picked him up!”

“Carmen was kind and understanding with our dog. And overall just seems like a very nice person. She worked with us on dropoff and pickup and was pretty flexible. Figo seemed to have a lot of fun with her. She has a nice house and overall it seemed she lived in a dog friendly neighborhood so definitely recommend boarding with her.”

“Anne was wonderful! I felt so comfortable and at ease leaving my dog, Maya, with her. Anne provided Maya with the best care in a happy, loving environment, and I’m very grateful.”

“Amanda and Austin were able to take my dog Willow after we had another Rover cancel on us. They were communicative and Willow came home happy and well taken care of.”

“Jeanne watched our two dogs while we went on vacation. One is older, one is young. Jeanne was extremely responsive from the introductory meeting to picking them up. She has a nicely fenced yard for several dogs and a barn area to let them run around and play. It worked out great. They both seem happy and relaxed after their stay with Jeanne. We recommend her if you are in the Southern Maine area.”

“Kelly took Copper in and gave him 100% attention for the days I was gone. I am very very pleased with how she cared for him. I highly Recommend Kelly. Top of the line caring dog sitter.”

“Kyle and Kaleigh have the perfect set up to watch our dog. We were completely comfortable leaving our pup with them and they were awesome about sending us pictures and communicating on how our dog was doing”

“Karen and Steve looked after Millie, our rather nervous 1 1/2 year old miniature cockapoo, during her first ever extended stay away from home. She overlapped with a sweet older dog which apparently went well for all. Karen sent daily photos from the beach, out for walks, on shopping trips and snuggling on the couch - which were reassuring for us especially as the temperatures were insanely cold. A health problem while we were away meant that we needed to extend our trip by four days - and luckily Karen was able to accommodate Millie for that additional time - which she did very graciously. Millie spent the extra days alongside a second (tiny!) friend. We appreciated Karen and Steve's frequent communication, flexibility and sensitivity to Millie's needs and plan to return in the future!”

“A 5 star hotel stay for your furry friend. Seth and his are amazing. From first contact to pick they were amazing. Feels like you dropped your dog with a family member. I am so amazed Thank you for the care.”

“Sridevi took wonderful care of my dog, Sasha. I had to book with her at the last minute because of a funeral and she could not have been more accommodating. Sasha was so content at her house in such a short period of time, I was very impressed. Sasha does not usually warm up to people so quickly, so I knew she was in good hands. 🐾”

“Neil and Abby were great. Good communication and our dog was very happy there - lots of good play time with their dog Molly. Would definitely have Delta board with them again in the future!”

“Rachael was amazing with Maizy. Maizy vacationed with her for 8 nights. As promised, we received many pictures and updates daily. She was in tuned to how our girl was feeling and we could see the happiness on Maizy’s face in the pics. Rachel reached out with food questions when needed. We seriously could not have asked for a better vacation for our Maizy girl! Highly recommend Rachael! Hopr the secret doesn’t spread too fast so we can book Rachael again!”
“I cannot say enough amazing things about this incredible family. We are repeat customers and will be for life! Our puppy is so loved and taken care of in this home, we couldn’t be more appreciative!! So loved, that my sweet Olive pup just doesn’t want to come home!! Thank you!!!”
