“I booked last minute and Michaela was super responsive and helpful. Michaela and her partner sent lots of updates and pics. Emmie came home very happy and seemed very comfortable. Would book again!”

“Emily and Kieran took a very good care of our dog! They were very accomodating even on the last minute notice, and were very flexible on the timing, which we really appreciate :) They took Ohsam out for a walk several times, gave lots of loves and cuddles. I can see Ohsam had a great time with the family! Would recommend them during our next visit in Portland. Thank you!!”

“Lindsay is fantastic. She has been a lifesaver with our new pup. He always comes home happy and tired, and Lindsay always gives great updates so I know exactly how our pup has been throughout the day. I couldn’t recommend her more.”

“Laney and her family were great for Duch and I, her other dogs were welcoming and she was very attentive to Duch giving updates throughout the day. We appreciate her and will definitely reach out next time we need help with Duch.”

“From what Jules said, it sounds like Belle had a wonderful time at her house! She got lots of exercise as she was able to play with the other dogs and got lots of s guess also. Best of both worlds! Plus, Jules lives super closer to me that’s a big plus.”
About: I’ve had my 16 year old dog since he was a puppy. I’ve taken care of many friends and neighbors dogs of all ages and sizes. My fenced in yard makes for the perfect dog paradise. I work from home and I have plenty of time for walks and snuggles. My dog typically goes out 3 times a day so I’m used to keeping a regular schedule but I can adapt to what works best for your pup! I have a fully fenced yard perfect for outings and play. I am also able to take your pup for longer walks as requested. Crates preferred but I have a separate room they can stay in if needed. I have a 16 year old dog so must be able to get along with another dog :)
“A very safe wonderful place for my pup for the day. Easy access to their place and an adorable clean neighborhood. Lots of pics and walks. Ideal situation for us. Rachael was wonderful.”

About: I’ve been taking care of and owning dogs, and recently cats, since I was in high school. I have raised and trained dogs from puppyhood into their elder years, and taken care of sick and special needs animals. I have a very flexible schedule as well. I take care of pets every day, and have a very flexible schedule. I love to take care of animals, and also volunteer weekly at the Animal Shelter. I would prefer to take care of pets at the clients home, or outside. I have a large, semi-fenced in yard and always keep an eye out. I will not leave the dog alone to ensure their safety and frequently play with them to avoid boredom.
“Our 5 month old puppy moose loved daycare with Emilia! After getting neutered he needed a break from daycare to fully recover. Emilia did a great job at keeping him entertained throughout the day, while keeping a close eye on his stitches. Every night we picked up moose he was so tired from all the fun he had! We will definitely be using Emilia again in the future!”

About: I grew up with a house full of pets and also provided dog walking and overnight pet care in my neighborhood. I now have a dog of my own that I raised from a puppy. I'm excited to add your pup to our pack for mid-day walks, throughout the day, or overnight. I currently work from home and I'm available to provide play-time, potty breaks, and exercise through out the day. My Brittany loves other dogs and is high-energy and playful. I have a fully fenced yard and live on quiet street. We have trails and the beach nearby for walks and adventures with your pup.
“Alma was great with Reynard and sent photos and updates throughout the day. Reynard and Birdy got along well. Very happy that Alma was able to accommodate a last minute booking and we will certainly book her again!”

“Seth and his family are truly so wonderful. He was a huge help to us out-of-towners who needed a place for our pup to hang out. Rudy has some separation anxiety and Seth was absolutely wonderful with him. He sent photos throughout the day and put our mind at ease. Would absolutely 100% recommend trusting him with your dog!!”

“Jasper was incredible when he watched Zulu. Went above and beyond. Took Zulu to the park, went for extra walks, and watched TV with him when they were lounging! When we came back, Jasper and Zulu were waiting for us on Jasper’s porch! Will book again :)”

About: I'm dedicated to your dog's well-being and offer genuine love, playful engagement, and a safe home and environment to ensure a stress-free experience. I have been a dog owner my entire life and I know how to read the body language of dogs. I nurture trust so that your dog is as happy here as s/he is in your home. We have two rescue dogs here in the home, Phoebe and Canela. Phoebe has been with us since she was a tiny chiweenie puppy six years ago, and Canela is a two year old sweetheart that was starving/living on the streets in Oaxaca, Mexico. Little did I know when I fell in love with her that the only way to get her home was to have her driven here in February! I am a writer and have a small gardening & vintage business which allows me to be at home close to full-time. Because I have a fenced in yard, I leave the door to my back porch open and our dogs go in and out of the home as they wish. I am here to monitor them, of course! I have a big fenced yard and two dogs that love to play and go for walks on the Greenbelt which is across the street. When they are inside, they sleep like queens on the couch or bed. Their favorite activity when they are not playing is to stare out the front window from the bed and bark at all the dogs that dare walk by our home.
“I knew immediately meeting Christine that Lola would love her. You don’t get that good vibe feeling with every rover and it stinks. Christine loved on my baby all day and the pictures she took made my heart burst. I will absolutely use her again if needed!”

About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.
“Rose made our Buddy feel right at home, he had a great time playing with his new friend while we were out on a whale watching cruise. We really appreciated the updates and photos while in her care. We would highly recommend her services!”
