I like to know your cat’s favorite hiding spots so I know where to look for them if they disappear. Any details about where they do or don’t like to be petted, whether they like being held, etc. is always very useful!
A typical day
I am a very cat-led sitter. If your cat wants to play, I love playing. If they are a snuggler I will sit with them on my lap and enjoy a book or tv show. If they just want to hide under the bed, that’s okay too— I just work my feeding and cleaning magic and then leave.

Hi there! My name is Melody. I have loved cats ever since I can remember. I grew up with one who passed away at almost 18 years old. I was a volunteer for the Bannock Humane Society and took care of the kitties at PetSmart. If you need a cat-sitter, I'd be happy to have the work! Although I have my own sweet kitty at home, I will love sharing some live and one-on-one time with yours. I am not usually a dog-lover, although if you have a dog who is low-key and small (basically, a cat-like dog) I will consider doing drop-ins. :) Thanks for your consideration! Melody was great with my cat Mabel! Followed all instructions and I came home to a happy cat.
Melody was wonderful with our cats while we were out of the country. She was flexible, communicative, and professional. Our cats did not seemed stressed upon our return, as they usually do when we leave — I can tell she took great care of them. Would definitely book with her again!

Melody did a fantastic job with my two kitties and my house. One of my cats needs oral medication daily and Melody was successful in making sure that Francie got her pill every day, which is no easy task (especially since this cat is prone to hiding). I really appreciate all the extra effort it takes to medicate a cat daily. She also watered my garden, and all my plants look great! I would definitely hire Melody again to take care of my kitties.
