I have experience with all types of animals and breeds and feel comfortable administering medication and other care as needed. Knowing if they run away or not is really helpful to know.
A typical day
The best advice someone ever gave me about dogs was allow them a chance to sniff. Sometimes it gets annoying when you have to stop so often because a dog wants to sniff everything but that is how they learn, so I let them stop as much as they want.

Pet care experience
I'm a Girl Scout who loves pets. I have one dog , one cat and a few fish. My favorite animal experience was when I volunteered in Thailand with elephants. It was up close and personal and it makes me remember how gentle and caring to be with animals, especially ones that are not my own. I love going on walks with my dog and can't wait to make friends with other dogs to do the same. My dog is a 12 year old, 12 pound Sheltie. I rescued her from the humane society and she was abused so I have experience working with dogs who are shy, scared and have no confidence. My cat is an American shorthair that love to play!

Emily is amazing. Our Artie immediately loved her, which isn’t common. She is professional, trustworthy and goes above and beyond anytime she sees an opportunity.
Emily was responsive, easy to work with and did a great job taking care of our large and anxious German shepherd. She also was super agreeable to administering our dog’s meds, too, which was very helpful. Highly recommend!
Emily was great! She gave our pets lots of love when we were away, and she was very communicative with lots of pictures!
