“Eva was amazing! She was extremely communicative and her love for dogs eased our minds while we left our dog for the first time with a sitter vs. family. I could not recommend her services enough!”

About: Hi there! I’m Sydney, and I’ve always had a love for dogs. I grew up with them and recently adopted a wonderful rescue dog, Asher. I know how important it is to have a caring and reliable walker, and I’m excited to offer that to your dog! My current dog is reactive so I feel comfortable working with other dogs who are also reactive because they still deserve to experience the world! I’m currently in grad school, and working with dogs is a perfect way to combine my passion with my goals. You can trust that I’ll treat your dog with the same love and care I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am a full time grad student , but I’ve always made time for what I love — and that includes caring for dogs! Although my days are busy with classes I prioritize providing walks and playtime for my dog around, ensuring he gets the attention, exercise, and fun he needs. I’m flexible with timing and can adjust to fit your dog’s needs, whether it’s a midday walk, early morning, or evening outing. Whether in my home or yours, I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety. If I'm caring for your dog in your home, I’ll make sure they have plenty of space to roam and relax, following your routines and preferences. I’m comfortable with crating if that’s part of your dog’s routine, and I’ll ensure they feel safe and secure when in their crate. When I’m caring for pets in my own home, I create a calm and safe environment where your dog can enjoy playtime, rest, and plenty of love. I treat every dog like part of my family and make sure they’re comfortable and happy throughout their stay. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, you can count on me to provide the best care!
“Liz is wonderful -- she was able to accommodate us over the holiday weekend on short notice when the forecast was too hot to be able to travel safely with our dog Skynet. She was awesome with him, and very understanding of him being a little excitable around new people. Would highly recommend contacting Liz for any needs you have!”

“Lori is amazing with Joey—I trust her completely. There are only a handful of people I’d feel comfortable leaving him with, and she’s absolutely one of them. She’s great at communicating how he’s doing, sharing updates on his mood and how the visit went, and always makes sure he gets plenty of love.”

“Outstanding!!!! Victoria is as BEYOND amazing with our dog Ollie while we were away 10 days for a cruise. I will be using her again and again and recommending her services to family and friends. Thanks again Victoria! Love Ollie, Janis and Gordon”

“As always, Carmen does a great job taking care of my cat Meatball. She sends great photos of her visits and I’m just so at ease when I know that she will be looking in on him while I’m away on trips. Thank you so much, Carmen!”

About: I am reliable! When you’re gone, there will be zero stress. ☺️ I’ve had years of pet sitting experience. From puppies/kittens to senior dogs/cats. I work for myself so my schedule can be very flexible! My availability can be as short or long as you need me, 7 days a week. I typically go to the house in which I am hired at. That way I know that the animal and the owner feel most comfortable!
About: Beginning 12/1/25, I am moving to Biddeford. I work, remotely, in Westbrook. I am most open to jobs in or between those two locations. My schedule is flexible. I do not currently have a dog of my own. I love dogs and enjoy their company. We take walks, play fetch, etc. I've had several pets over the years, both dogs and cats. I am an active person and go out walking several times per day to break up my own work routine. What I am trying to create is an experience for the dog and/or cat to relax and enjoy. I want the opposite of a kennel environment, which I think stresses most dogs out. I talk to the animals in my company. I take time out to pet them and and talk to them. I do appreciate their company and respect their routines. Dogs and other animals have always naturally gravitated toward me. I am calm by nature, and also smart, well educated, and organized. I am a careful person, quite conscientious. I love dogs and cats. While the master is off on an adventure, there is no reason why the dog(s) and cat(s) can't be having fun as well. I work remotely. My schedule is completely flexible. I make my own hours. I can easily build my day around my pet care services for Rover dogs and cats. I most prefer caring for pets in their own home where they are amidst the familiar objects and smells and routines of their normal life.
About: I recently adopted a Cockapoo named Lucy. She is a total sweetheart and loves people and other dogs. I previously owned my own Boxer, Ava, for 9 years. She passed away 2 years ago and so I started working for Rover to share my love, compassion and support to dog owners seeking companionship and enrichment activity for their dog. I am available to watch your dog during the week or weekends. Need a break from your dog so you can enjoy “me” time or have a nice weekend? Then reach out and contact me! I am a huge animal lover and therefore I am available to assist with daily activities (feeding, medications, potty time) and enrichment (walk & play time) including overnight boarding. I will accept 2 dogs at the same time if they are from the same family (additional service rate would apply). I am a home owner that provides a 'cozy' and healthy environment. I have a large backyard and live in a nice area in Kennebunkport. I will always have your dog on a long leash to allow him/her to roam safely with me tagging along. I am someone who is very structured and believe that providing consistency & structure to a dog is very important. I do not believe in striking or hitting any animal no matter the reason. I will treat your dog with care like it is my own.
About: Animal fosterer with 2 years of experience with both dogs and cats of all ages, plenty of free time, and a genuine love for all animals. Ready to provide attentive, caring pet sitting! I currently work full time in South Portland, but I find watching animals so rewarding so I highly prioritize caring for your pet! I can take walks/potty breaks every few hours except during the workday which would be 8 hours depending on the commute from my work! I only offer house sitting as my home currently has other animals living in it. I love to go to beaches and dog parks or just sit and keep the animals company!
About: New to pet sitting but have a life-time of experience with dogs. Dogs seem to respond to me easily and favorably. I enjoy caring for dogs. I am fully retired so my schedule can be very flexible. I will try at all times to accomodate a client especially if a short notice request is made. I will only house sit dogs in a clients house. I will care for the dogs feeding, all necessary walks, and of course some play time.
About: My super strength as a pet caregiver, is my interest in getting to know an animal's personality and working mindfully and respectfully with their nature. I prioritize safety, trust and attention. I've taught young children and raised kittens, puppies and chickens over the last twenty years. As a lover of Great Pyrenees (having raised three) and cats, I have great respect for the subtle and obvious efforts our animals use to communicate with us. I'm experienced with all ages. Senior pets are very dear to me. I've had the honor to provide comforting care for my own animals and provide tender touch, medications, dietary support, and a calm presence through their final months. I also love training and nurturing puppies. I am available to provide individualized day and overnight care for your pet(s) and plants. Contact me to discuss your short-term or longterm needs. I am especially interested in helping people feel at ease during holidays and vacations by providing qualified, experienced multi-day pet care. Mindfulness, kindness, and experience guide my services. I'm happy to travel to care for pets in the comfort of their home or mine! My place was designed for Great Pyrenees. I have a large, protective deck and fenced yard for supervised off-leash, outdoor time.

About: I've owned and been around a variety of dog breeds, ages, and temperaments since I 10 years old. My family has owned mini schnauzers (including rescuing senior dogs), large breed hunting dogs, and Shepard breeds. I know the importance of maintaining a schedule, keeping high energy dogs exercised, and reinforcing training techniques for the breeds mentioned above. I also am able to give medications (both oral and injectable), and care for dogs after surgery (I volunteered with my grandad who is a veterinarian at shelters and assisted with minor surgeries and after surgery care). I just finished up college, and applying for another program. My schedule is pretty open allowing me to meet the needs of your pets, keeping them on a similar schedule while you are away As I've mentioned, I know the importance of exercising and maintaining a schedule and will keep to the routine of your pet. I also love cuddling and just spending time with animals.
“I really appreciate you taking the time to do a meet and greet ahead of time and then all the photos while I was away. It was good peace of mind to know you were there taking care of them. Thanks, Nishat for looking after my fur babies :).”

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life- my favorite thing to do at my parent's house is to take my dog hiking in the woods or swimming. I'm also the proud owner of a spunky 3-year old orange cat- he's the love of my life. My pets are part of my family and I promise to take good care of your family when you need me! Prior to living in Maine, I worked as a nanny in Manhattan. I currently work from home 3-4 days a week in Saco and have a flexible schedule for drop ins, walks, or house sitting. I am excited to meet you and your pets! I promise to treat your pet with the love and respect they deserve. I am happy to play or snuggle with them, take them on walks, or even just make sure they're fed or their litter box is clean. I can provide you with updates or photos while you're away or at work!

About: I grew up in Oklahoma on 90 acres with cows, horses, cats, and dogs. I've always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. One of the unique experiences I offer is adventure outings for your pup. Living near the beach allows me to provide refreshing beach walks, and as an avid hiker, I also enjoy taking dogs on scenic trail adventures where they can safely explore and enjoy nature. I currently have two dogs of my own—a Miniature Dachshund and a German Shepherd mix we rescued. If your dog would benefit from a positive, supervised social outing, I’m happy to provide that as well. Growing up, I regularly cared for and walked neighbors’ and family members’ pets, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. My goal is to give you peace of mind while your pet has a fun, enriching experience. You can rest assured that your furry family members will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. As a full-time dog dad to my two pups, I maintain a flexible schedule and am readily available to help ensure your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s a quick neighborhood walk for exercise or an extended stay with a pet who needs a little extra companionship, I’m here to provide dependable, attentive care. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and fully cared for. I am committed to providing a high level of personalized care and attention to every client. I ensure that when you book a walk or service with me, your pets receive my full, undivided focus. This dedicated one-on-one time allows me to tailor each visit to your pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine. I also have a spacious SUV available for safe transportation if needed. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I offer nature hikes as an additional service, giving them the opportunity to explore and exercise in a safe, supervised environment. Feel free to send me a message with what you’re looking for, and I’ll respond as soon as possible. I look forward to connecting with you and your pets!
About: I love dogs of all shapes and sizes! I grew up around big dogs and cats, raised two big fur babies of my own, and have dog sat for lots of friends and family. I also worked as a professional pet sitter for a local CO company and became certified in pet CPR/first aid. I took some time off for grad school and now I’m excited to get back into it! I work from home full time so you can be assured that your baby will get lots of love, attention, and exercise. After raising my own wild husky, I feel more than capable to help with any training or exercise needs. Please note, I only do dog sitting and walks as I find dogs are more comfortable in their own home. I do my best to take care of them the same way you would! I look forward to meeting you and your babies soon :) I work from home full time so I am able to do morning, midday, and evening potty breaks and snuggles every day of the week! When in your home, I try to take care of your pets the same way that you would. I know the importance of a routine to help them stay calm and comfortable!

“Gigi was a pleasure to work with. She did a Zoom meet and greet. And help me to move the date of our appointment. She left numerous pictures and a review. I highly recommend Gigi.”

Saco dog parents share their Rover experiences
We hired Jillian for an evening of in-home pet sitting for our 11-month-old Westie, and we couldn't be happier with how it went. Our pup was a little hesitant at first (some classic Westie barking!), but warmed up to Jillian within just a few minutes — a great sign. Jillian sent thorough updates throughout the night, which gave us real peace of mind, followed our puppy's nightly routine to a T, and was completely respectful of our home. We'd happily book her again!

I’ve been using Casey every week M-TH for drop-ins and she’s absolutely amazing. Always on time, thorough (puts down fresh water for my dog, tank) and takes the time to just hangout and give him attention. Extremely reliable and very communicative! She’s amazing!

Nikki is fantastic! I was nervous to book a new sitter outside of my regular, but I was immediately put at ease when Nikki arrived. She was patient with my anxious dog, and asked great questions about providing the best care for our rabbit. While we were away she gave us plenty of photos and even videos detailing how they were, that she was shutting the window for the evening, etc. In these videos we could also tell how comfortable our animals were with her, which made being away so much easier. I am confident that if anything out of the ordinary were to happen while she was caring for our pets, she would go above and beyond in a heartbeat to do whatever she could to help. I will ABSOLUTELY be booking Nikki again!

Emma saved the whole day! This was our first time using Rover, and Emma made it easy by being communicative. She was kind and flexible enough to meet River ahead of time, which made us all feel super comfortable with leaving our baby in her care. McRib seemed very comfortable with Emma and we would 100% book with her again.
