“Laurie was wonderful! We booked her for a few days worth of drop-in visits with our 1 year old dog Luna (40-lb border collie mix). We've only had Luna for 4 months (rescue) and she is incredibly timid and loud around strangers in the house. We were worried going into the weekend that we might even have to cancel our trip because Luna has been unmanageable by just about everyone we've tried to get to walk her. And even with us, on walks she is easily distracted and will try to chase everything from squirrels to grasshoppers. It can be a challenge for non-family to even get close enough to get a leash on her. Laurie was so kind and patient with Luna, and spent so much time with her to gain her trust. She proved fully capable of leashing Luna and bringing her on long walks. We will definitely be booking Laurie again! (provided she would be willing!)”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and love “fur babies” of all shapes and sizes! Flexible schedule before the whale watch season starts (May 23). I just moved to Maine from Virginia. Back home I have a rescue basset hound mix from Puerto Rico, and here in ME my landlady owns a golden doodle who lives with us. Dogs are part of my every day life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am happy to take your dog on a nice walk around the neighborhood, trails, or wherever you’d prefer! Also open to stopping in for a quick visit to play or just let them out to go potty.

About: From neighborhood animal care to volunteering at local animal rescues, my passion lies in animal welfare and caregiving! Since moving to Portsmouth NH, I'm looking to reconnect with a local animal advocacy scene and provide my services to anyone who may need help with their four-legged loved ones. I'm a remote employee, so I'm able to work from anywhere that has WiFi! I just moved to Portsmouth NH, leaving my volunteer position at Salem Animal Rescue League as a Canine Walker. I'm ready to make my services available and get connected to the animal welfare scene in the Portsmouth area! I have reliable (and pet friendly) transportation for anything your pet may need: a walk in the park, a trip to the lake or emergency vet care. I highly encourage pet owners to provide me with the names of their vets and emergency contacts for the duration of the animal's care.

About: I currently have a wonderful 9 year old cat and we now have a Lionhead bunny and they are well taken care of. I’ve had dogs in my younger years and have been paid back then for taking care of dogs in our neighborhood too while their owners were away. I currently drive for uber so I’m very flexible :). I have a 8 year old daughter so she’s occupied 8am to 530 Monday through Friday I own my car so I can get animals around if need be I also have a back yard also I would plan to take my shows off as soon as entering the home and lock everything securely when I leave :)
