About: 10 years fostering dogs with a local shelter—puppies, medical cases, reactive dogs, seniors, and the shy ones who need extra patience. My favorites are large dogs and blockheads (staffies, rotties, pit mixes), though a small dog sneaks in now and then (frenchies, Havanese, corgi, etc). I'm new to Rover but not to petsitting. I've cared for dogs from families who adopted my fosters for years, and I've been active on Wag! At my house, dogs get on the furniture, play hard, and get spoiled. Belly rubs, butt scratches, and ear massages come standard. My goal is to send your dog home happy, loved and tired. I'm self-employed and work from home when dogs stay with me. (My clients are used to dogs making an appearance during Zoom calls.) I'm a runner so long walks with dogs is just part of the fitness routine. I match my schedule to your dog's feeding and bathroom schedule. Every dog that comes here is treated with patience and care. Some arrive nervous, anxious, or unsure—maybe a potty accident in a new space, maybe hesitant to settle. My job is to help them feel safe, give them time to decompress, and meet them where they are. When they're ready, I'm here for play and snuggles. I have a fenced yard and my property backs up to a park. Dogs get regular walks, plus potty breaks. If a dog needs shorter, lower-key outings, we do on-leash trips to the park right behind the house. If your dog is reactive, we do backyard potty breaks and walk off-peak hours on a specific path to minimize potential sightings of other dogs.
“Liz was such a great babysitter for my pup! She sent lots of pics and a video of her and her pup playing and having the best time. I’ll definitely be using her again!”

“My 4 month old puppy had another great day at Rey’s. He has fun playing with other dogs. I also love the great pics that Rey sends. He always comes home tired which is wonderful!”

“Jasmine is great!! This is my first time using Rover, and I am glad I found her. She is super responsible - asking me about daily routine; taking my dog outside for walk etc. Easy to communicate as well! Highly recommend 🥰🥰”

“Shanikki was very flexible with my last minute booking and my dog enjoyed her time! She was very responsive and sent pictures and was great with my nervous dog.”

“Still my day 1, favorite sitter! Esterline knows one of my boys very well after years of daycare, but this was the first time she met my newer (very anxious and special-needs) boy. She consistently goes above and beyond. Sent pictures and reassuring messages all throughout the day. Esterline is the ultimate dog lover. Start-sitter status 100% deserved!”

“Karla was amazing with Clea (as always!) She was available for a last minute booking after another Dogsitter cancelled. Clea had a great time, and we received lots of updates and photos. Karla was very accommodating with the booking times as well. Highly recommend her to others!”

About: A little bit about me is that i’ve been had many dogs , cats , fish , turtles and guinea pigs (yes my guinea pig, dog & cat all got along lol). i have a roommate who is also a veterinarian who specializes in all types of dogs , which is very helpful since he will be helping with any services i may need assistance on. i currently work in child care (5yrs now) and need something pretty simple over the summer to do while schools out. i live in a spacious loft downtown baltimore. im also a licensed cook as well, so typically feed my pets once a week a good meal. currently working full time until june 8,2026 due to me working in child care and schools almost out. after that ill be 100% free throughout the week and weekend. my building has an enclosed sitting / yard area inside the building. i can do walks too since i live downtown but most likely will be in the area of the enclosed yard my building provides due to that’s where all the other dog parents their babies.
About: I adopted my first dog when I was 12, and the rest, as they say, is history! I have experience pet sitting for neighbors and friends, from puppies to senior dogs, including animals with medication needs. When I haven't had dogs of my own, I've been involved with fostering to get both cats and dogs ready for their forever home. I'm a hybrid worker with a flexible work schedule, so I'm available throughout the day, for whatever your pet(s) need, whether that's a midmorning walk, an afternoon play session, or meals at specific times of the day! I have a small fenced in patio, and I'm open to working with you to make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and safe. I have experience with obedience training, crate training, and animals with special requirements, and I will do whatever is necessary to meet your pet's individual needs.
About: I provide dependable, patient, and personalized care for every pet I watch. I am especially attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and behavioral cues to ensure each pet feels safe and comfortable. I understand the importance of exercise, enrichment, and positive reinforcement. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like family, providing updates, photos, and peace of mind while you are away. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to be fully present and attentive throughout the day. I am able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime without long gaps in between. Since I am already structured with feeding schedules, morning and evening walks, and enrichment time for my own dog, adding another pet into my routine feels natural and organized. This setup helps ensure pets are always safe, comfortable, and well cared for. In my home, safety and structure always come first. I maintain a clean, pet friendly environment with clear boundaries and supervision at all times. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods. I also have home cameras for added monitoring and peace of mind. One of the biggest advantages of my space is access to a fenced indoor dog park. This allows dogs to safely run, play, and burn energy in a secure, controlled environment regardless of weather. Playtime is always supervised, and I separate pets as needed based on temperament, size, and energy level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely, including feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routes, and house rules. I prioritize consistency so pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar space. Trust is everything to me. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

“Peter was wonderful with Tucker! Our dog is anxious and is working on reactivity, and Peter was wonderful at keeping Tucker happy and calm and keeping us updated on the visits. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!”

About: Hi! My name is Lynn, and I've been raising/ caring for dogs & cats since I was a young child. I worked as a live in dog sitter for 2 years while in college. I’ve worked at an animal rescue shelter in Chicago & dog walking company in Baltimore for a combined 3 years. Independently I’ve cared for all kinds of animals all my life and I honestly just love being surrounded by them! They make me happy & I would like to think I do a pretty good job at keeping them happy as well. Thank you and hope to see you soon! I am currently doing pet care full time so whatever schedule we work out will be guaranteed from me. Let’s figure out what works :) By giving individual animals the care and attention they need. Unless they need space, which I can give them too haha. They will be fed, walked and/or played with to fit their needs and as you instruct. I have a fenced in backyard.
About: I have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments—including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. I’ve personally trained my own beagle and have also helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, administering medications, and basic training. I truly love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—patiently, kindly, and attentively. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior, I adapt to their unique needs and personality. I’m also familiar with dog behavior and safety, and I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved while in my care. I work from home as a software developer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take regular breaks, which I use for walks, playtime, or simply giving your pet some extra love and attention. This routine allows me to be fully present and responsive to your dog’s needs, whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medication, or just being there for comfort and companionship. I maintain a clean, quiet, and pet-friendly home with secure spaces where dogs can feel comfortable and safe. I follow each pet parent’s instructions carefully and take the time to get to know each dog’s habits, limits, and preferences. Whether in my home or yours, I create a calm, positive environment with consistent routines, supervision, and lots of affection. I also take safety seriously leash control, safe spaces, and always monitoring behavior to ensure everyone is happy and secure.
“This was my very first time using a dog daycare, and I was extremely nervous. Luna isn’t just my dog—she’s my only family. During my Navy deployments, my ex-husband took everything I had, and after I left the service, Luna became the one constant in my life. We’ve been through everything together. Today, I had a 12-hour clinical shift and my usual sitter (a close friend) was unavailable. I entrusted Luna to Lexie, and I could not be more grateful. Lexie sent me updates throughout the day, took Luna on walks and even to the park. Knowing Luna was in such good hands gave me so much peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend Lexie to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about your dog as family. Thank you, Lexie, for treating Luna like your own.”

About: 10 years ago I worked at wagmore dogs and since I’ve taken my skills to my community and taken care of family and friends pets when they went out of town or when they simply did overtime at work I only work my full time 3/4 days a week and it gives me ample time to take care of pets.mid week and weekend availability I can easily crate your dog if needed but I typically clean up after every little thing your fur babies do. I’m a parent and had fur babies of my own so I understand how important caring and attentiveness is
About: I'm a life-long dog owner and have had cats much of my life. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, dog and cat body language, and I am currently in the process of getting certified in pet first aid and CPR. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. I work from home and am available for walks and drop-ins in the mornings and evenings, and midday as my schedule allows. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my daily service range, additional fees may apply. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. Got a weird routine, like needing to fake a 5-star meal, or finding the perfect blade of grass for a potty break? Tell me about it, I'll make it happen.
“Milo loves you!!! Thank you!!!! You take the BEST photos and give him the best walks!! When I forgot to send Kimberlyn my door code, she was totally understanding and came back to check on Milo!! So appreciative and grateful!”

About: I've had both dogs and cats my entire life, so being around animals is second nature to me. Over the years, I've also helped care for my neighbors' and family friends pets whenever they were out of town. This included; feeding, walking, playing, and just being there to keep them company. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, and I always treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s a quick check-in or a longer stay, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I am a student at the University of Michigan, studying sport management. I would love the opportunity to take care of other people's pets over my summer break. I will start my summer break by the end of June and would love to jump right in by helping those around me care for their pets in my free time. I am super flexible, so please feel free to message me! I focus on keeping things safe, comfortable, and stress-free. Every animal is different, so I take the time to understand what makes them feel relaxed and happy. I also keep owners updated with quick check-ins and photos, so they know their pet is doing well and being cared for like family.
“Christine spent the extra time to meet and get to know my German Shepherd girl before walking her. My girl was very comfortable with her and the walk went very well for both of them.”
About: I have always been an animal person, and have been a regular dogsitter and catsitter for friends and family for over 10 years. I love caring for all types of critters, from little balls of energy to to more mellow senior animals, and will try my best not to spoil yours too much (depending on how quickly they steal my heart.) I specialize in enrichment activities, such as walks and play sessions, but will also enjoy just hanging out with your little buddy in any capacity. I'm currently off of school for the summer, so I have lots of available time in the day to care for your animals! I am generally available any day of the week between 8 AM and 10 PM, except for Sunday, when I am not available until 11 AM. (6-8 AM is also a possibility if necessary.) I always make sure to respect my clients' homes and keep their belongings safe from rowdy playing. I will always be sure to read your instructions for entry carefully, and I am good at cleaning up a mess if there is one made.

About: My partner, Tae, and I are parents to a 7 year Maltipoo named Luna! While we are new to Rover, we’ve been dog sitting for friends and neighbors as a team for 3 years (and individually much longer). Tae, Luna, and I love other dogs and are happy to welcome other dogs into our family for whatever length of time! We are also able to provide walks and visits locally. Our Luna has separation anxiety and many fears (we really hate the vet, thunderstorms, LED lights, tin foil, Android ringtones...) so we are quite experienced dealing with anxiety and medication administration. Tae and I both have flexible work schedules and will not accept bookings unless we know we can offer the time and attention your dog needs! We work as a pet parent team and both have flexible work schedules! Depending on your pet’s needs, we can coordinate to make sure they are not left alone for longer than you are comfortable with (if at all). We love going on long walks and hanging out at dog parks and dog-friendly breweries and are happy to include these activities to the extent you are comfortable, otherwise we always enjoy snuggles at home :) We have a fenced yard (a little gem in the city!) and a friendly Maltipoo! Dogs are welcome on furniture, but we can respect whatever your pet’s routine is.
About: In college, I helped my friend raise a seeing-eye dog in training for two years. We had him from the time he was 6 weeks old until he went back to the Seeing Eye at 1 and 1/2 years. This gave me experience training puppies, and since the Seeing Eye had strict standards, I can be as tough or as gentle as you need. I love also playing or just hanging out with dogs, so however energetic or relaxed you dog is, I can handle it. Since college, I have watched friends's dogs from anywhere between quick walks to overnight stays. I am a law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. My schedule is pretty flexible as I set my hours, so I am pretty available throughout the week. I am available some weekends as well! Above all, I am a very neat person and will respect you space if I come to care for your pet in your home. I will happily clean up any messes that come up with taking care of your dog, and I will put everything away before I leave. I recognize it takes a lot of trust not only to allow someone to take care of your dog, but to also let that person into your house. I will never do anything beyond your instructions (barring an emergency), and will gladly send pictures and updates at every opportunity. Additionally, I am always prepared with toys and treats!

“I have worked with Jenna twice and she's been great! She is really patient and flexible with both me and my dog Levi. Levi can be a bit energetic, but Jenna was not phased, and remained calm and gentle with him. I appreciate her so much and will definitely be booking again.”

“Brittany was punctual and flexible with timing. My pup was very happy to get a long walk while I was gone for the day. I would totally book with her again!!”

About: I had a Great Dane who needed lots of attention and care. He was a gentle giant! I played with him, went on long walks everyday, and hung out with him! I love all kinds of dogs! I have experience with really all kinds of dogs from any age. I am very patient and reliable and always treat your dog as my own! I make sure your dog gets the care to their unique needs! I have a very flexible work schedule where I will have time to walk the dog, feed the dog, and play with the dog! I am happy to tailor my time to fit your dog’s needs. I want to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re gone! I am very caring, where I love to hangout with dogs! I love going on long walks where I would take the dogs with me! I aim to keep your dogs routine where it wouldn’t be any kind of change for them. I will send you messages and pictures of your dogs!

“I can’t say enough good things! They took great care of my little Jada for almost a week while I was away. It was my first time leaving Jada for that long since I’ve had her which made me nervous naturally and the communication throughout was great. It was very clear that she was treated like one of their own and had a ton of fun playing with the other dogs. Jada came home happy and tired from all of the play, I’d say it was a success! ☺️”

“Reynaldo has been great in accommodating our dog and we have gone back several times! We even brought our dog over a couple days before his first stay to say hello and get familiar with the environment—all went super smooth and it was obvious Reynaldo was very experienced with animals. He provides daily updates with photos and is extremely prompt with answering any questions or concerns. Our pup always comes back exhausted from a fun time with Reynaldo and playing with other dogs!”

“Lexie did a fabulous job with my sassy cat, Brontë! She went above and beyond to update me and to follow the instructions/notes I had written out. We are new to town, and I was nervous about leaving my cat with someone new, but she put me at ease. :)”

“My Teddy Graham had such a great time at Donnell’s! He came home happy, well fed, and well rested. Donnell kept me updated with great photos and details about my dog’s stay the entire time. Having the opportunity to play with their dogs, Bella and Gizmo, was the cherry on top. Teddy Graham can’t wait to go back!”

“Sophie was a very attentive, kind, and communicative caretaker for our cat! She took extra care to manage boarding our cat alongside her cats, sent us pictures, and shared sweet updates with us while we were away. We highly recommend Sophie and would be glad to have her as caretaker for our Frankie again!”

“Elizabeth was great! I booked at the last minute due to an unexpected trip and she was super flexible in making my dates and timeline work. Martha had an AMAZING time with Molly and was obviously very well taken care of.”

“Nathalie was great with Bumi and so helpfully flexible with pickup plans. She was responsive and the photo updates really put my mind at ease while on vacation. Will absolutely be booking again! Thank you Nathalie! 😊”
