About: I have always grown up with cats and dogs. I have been a pet sitter, babysitter, and house sitter through high school and college. I helped my family train our beautiful black lab when she was a puppy back in 2018. I am also a cat parent to the sweetest girl I adopted two years ago. I am a full time law student, so right now I have the most time for weekend visits with some limited evening availability for drop-in visits. I am about to have a long winter break, so I will have much more time from December 15-January 15. I have a two bedroom apartment with easy access to a small dog park area and easy access to a neighborhood with lots of green space for walks.
“Christine was great! She was super friendly and easy to work with. She took amazing care of our cat Otis. She was prompt and sent great pictures. Highly recommended!”

“Isabel was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative and responsive while we were out of town and made us feel very safe and secure leaving our 3 pups with her. They can be a handful and she handled them so well and thoughtfully. We would absolutely book with her again!”

About: In college, I helped my friend raise a seeing-eye dog in training for two years. We had him from the time he was 6 weeks old until he went back to the Seeing Eye at 1 and 1/2 years. This gave me experience training puppies, and since the Seeing Eye had strict standards, I can be as tough or as gentle as you need. I love also playing or just hanging out with dogs, so however energetic or relaxed you dog is, I can handle it. Since college, I have watched friends's dogs from anywhere between quick walks to overnight stays. I am a law school graduate currently studying for the bar exam. My schedule is pretty flexible as I set my hours, so I am pretty available throughout the week. I am available some weekends as well! Above all, I am a very neat person and will respect you space if I come to care for your pet in your home. I will happily clean up any messes that come up with taking care of your dog, and I will put everything away before I leave. I recognize it takes a lot of trust not only to allow someone to take care of your dog, but to also let that person into your house. I will never do anything beyond your instructions (barring an emergency), and will gladly send pictures and updates at every opportunity. Additionally, I am always prepared with toys and treats!
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have two perfect one eyed cats and I couldn’t be more obsessed with. I love dogs of all sizes and adore cats. I currently work from home, so my day to day is pretty flexible. We can workout whatever schedule you need that your pet is most used to! Whatever your pet needs, I will take care of! It’s as if you were never gone! I’m active, so long walks are not a problem
“Naya was wonderful with checking in on my cats over the holiday. Extremely communicative about everything from her schedule, to how the cats were doing each day, their food/water/litter, etc. It made me feel so comfortable knowing she was watching them and helped me have a great vacation!”

“Catherine took great care of BuBu while I was gone. From the pictures she sent me, it's clear that he warmed up to her quickly and enjoyed the attention she gave him. It looks like Catherine spent a lot of time brushing BuBu, which is one of his favorite things in the world. Catherine went above and beyond by emptying the litter genie when it was full and throwing the bag in the dumpster.”

“We were thrilled with Ned's care of our cats. Communication was great, including detailed rover cards and cute pics each visit. Ned paid special attention to each cat’s quirks and took extra care to tire out our high-energy kitten. We just had a lot of peace of mind on our trip knowing they had such super competent care. Would highly recommend for your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember! My pets have ranged from a 15 pound cockapoo to a 180 pound American Mastiff! I am a very gentle and caring person with a flexible mindset and happy to help where I can! I am a teacher who is on summer break! My schedule is fully open and ready to help at any time. I can be very flexible with my schedule and I am ambitious and ready to work. I have cared for dogs in multiple different home environments. I am comfortable with putting your pet in a crate if desired and spent my whole life walking my dogs as well. I’ve also worked with all ages and dogs and have administered medicine, trained dogs, and of course played with them all day long!
“One thing I never have to do is worry about my best friend, for I know he is in good hands. No matter the weather, she is always there for a drop in visit for my little buddy. I appreciate everything and all the things Connor does. She is truly a great big help and makes my life easier and stress free.”

“Vita was very professional and courteous. She went the extra mile to make sure my dogs were taken care of. Would 100% recommend for a home visit, especially for dogs that require a little extra care and attention.”

About: My partner, Tae, and I are parents to a 7 year Maltipoo named Luna! While we are new to Rover, we’ve been dog sitting for friends and neighbors as a team for 3 years (and individually much longer). Tae, Luna, and I love other dogs and are happy to welcome other dogs into our family for whatever length of time! We are also able to provide walks and visits locally. Our Luna has separation anxiety and many fears (we really hate the vet, thunderstorms, LED lights, tin foil, Android ringtones...) so we are quite experienced dealing with anxiety and medication administration. Tae and I both have flexible work schedules and will not accept bookings unless we know we can offer the time and attention your dog needs! We work as a pet parent team and both have flexible work schedules! Depending on your pet’s needs, we can coordinate to make sure they are not left alone for longer than you are comfortable with (if at all). We love going on long walks and hanging out at dog parks and dog-friendly breweries and are happy to include these activities to the extent you are comfortable, otherwise we always enjoy snuggles at home :) We have a fenced yard (a little gem in the city!) and a friendly Maltipoo! Dogs are welcome on furniture, but we can respect whatever your pet’s routine is.
About: I'm a life-long dog owner and have had cats much of my life. Years of volunteering at animal shelters has given me real, hands-on confidence with all kinds of animals and temperaments, including the reactive and anxious ones who need a calm, patient hand. I'm comfortable administering medication, managing mobility limitations, special needs, and the kind of quirks that make pet parents nervous to leave instructions for a new sitter. I also have advanced training for working with dogs with behavior challenges, training protocols, and dog and cat body language. No matter the animal, the basics stay the same: sticking to their routine, and sending updates and check-ins so you're never wondering how things are going. Your pet is in calm, capable hands. I work from home and am available for walks and drop-ins in the mornings and evenings, and midday as my schedule allows. I’m also available for house sitting. Have needs outside of this? Let’s talk! If the travel distance exceeds my daily service range, additional fees may apply. For walks and drop-ins, I keep things low-key: familiar environment, familiar routine, minimal disruption to their day. For house sitting, I stay in your home and keep your pet's routine exactly as you left it. I treat your space with the same care I'd want someone to treat mine. Got a weird routine, like needing to fake a 5-star meal, or finding the perfect blade of grass for a potty break? Tell me about it, I'll make it happen. Across both, I send photo updates throughout so you always know how things are going.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was a kid and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. While I don’t currently have pets of my own, I regularly help care for my siblings’ dogs and my roommates cat! I currently have an internship on Monday and Tuesdays, so I’m available after 6pm on those days. The rest of the week, my schedule is very flexible and I’m available Wednesday through Sunday for walks, drop-in visits, and overnight care. When caring for pets, I always follow any instructions given and stick to the pet’s usual routine. I try to spend as much time with them as possible and give them plenty of attention and care. I also make sure to send consistent updates and photos!
About: Dream job 🩵 Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I’ve lived around and taken care of animals my whole life, specifically including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and birds. My petsitting experience ranges from senior dogs with special care needs to puppies and kittens who need around the clock attention and supervision! I also have history with caring for small children under the ages of 2 so I’m not new to the babysitting world. 🩷 I go to work during the day so all of my nights are free and available! 🌙 I sleep after midnight so I have no problem using that extra time to ensure your pet’s needs are fully met. I live in an apartment with minimal furniture so I can make space for any indoor crates or pens. 🏙️ I’m located near the inner harbor in Baltimore so there’s no problem taking long and frequent walks when needed! For care in your home I will make sure your pet’s daily routine goes uninterrupted! I will be sure to note any specific feeding times/portions, adequate exercise and play sessions, frequent potty breaks and clean up, and any necessary medication as instructed.
About: I am a therapist full time and I grew up with a labradoodle (he’s 13 and thriving!) I have two cats of my own as well. Growing up throughout high school, I was a dog sitter and dog walker for neighbors and family friends. I have so much love for animals and experience in senior dog care, post-surgery care, and all sorts of cat care :) I also have watched bunnies!! I work full time as a therapist but full time looks different as a therapist, I work about 25 hours a week so I have lots of time to drop by and check on your animal(s) or take ‘em out for a walk! I approach every animal with love and respect for their boundaries! I am a huge animal lover and my empathy I would say is my strong suit for both my full time job and this one :)

Jenna always arrives on time (or a little early) and takes great care of my large puppy, Pumpkin! Jenna has been taking care of Pumpkin since Pumpkin was ~3 months old and she’s now over 9 months. Jenna is kind, reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommend! PS Jenna is very responsive also. 5 star!

Isabel was absolutely amazing! She was very communicative and responsive while we were out of town and made us feel very safe and secure leaving our 3 pups with her. They can be a handful and she handled them so well and thoughtfully. We would absolutely book with her again!

Sarah was fantastic. My girlfriend and I were in a bind before Memorial Day Weekend and we reached out to her. She was very quick with responses and came and met both our dogs the day after we started messaging. She updated us with pictures for every visit daily and even tracked on the app their bathroom updates. One of the pups needs a lot of accommodating with his eating which was no problem for Sarah. She even watered my plants while we were gone, a great added bonus! This was our first time using Rover and we were very nervous but Sarah calmed those nerves. We were able to enjoy our vacation that much more knowing the pups were in good hands. We will 100% be using Sarah moving forward if we ever need help!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Baltimore with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
