“If you need a cat sitter… JESSICA IS THE ONLY BEST/PERFECT option!! As someone who was very scared to leave my cat alone for the first time and not knowing anything about this app, I was very fortunate on finding Jessica to babysit my cat while I was away! She not only comes in to do her job, but she also makes sure to create a bond and play with your little friend! I have nothing but amazing things to say about her! She is the BEST!!! If anyone is worried about communication (like me) you have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Jessica would send me photos of my cat and a summary of how their days went very fast! And if I had any questions or concerns, she would always reply back ASAP! Jessica is the ONE to take care of your little friends! (:”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very patient with senior dogs and puppies and I love to see them happy. Overnight stays are easier since I have my own pets and I can monitor and walk them all together and keep them in a routine. My dog sleeps in his bed, he is an older dog so sleeps a lot and my cats sleep in their tree or couch. I live in a townhome with plenty of room for the babies to play and/or keep company
“Ana did such a wonderful job with my dogs when they had to take medications, had an upset stomach or itching issues. She sent me photos and videos which really lifted my spirits. Ana is very attentive and asks about how you would like things done in your home. I have two small dogs and would recommend her. My two dogs have different personalities and she was great at helping them each at their own pace.”

“Kathleen did a great job taking care of our old beagle. It really gave us peace of mind to have her checking in with us to let us know how our old guy was managing.”

“Rowan was absolutely everything we were looking for and she definitely delivered!! We needed her to check in on our cat 2 days while we were away. She fed him, played with him using multiple methods and toys, gave him a ton of attention and mental stimulation and made sure to send us the cutest pictures ever! We highly recommend booking with her. You can depend on Rowan for high quality care!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. While they are my family dogs and not currently living with me, I’ve been involved in their care my entire life, handling walks and daily responsibilities, especially when my parents were at work and I took on most of their care. I’m comfortable with walks, feedings, playtime, and making sure dogs feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every dog like my own and enjoy getting to know their personalities! I work in the office Monday through Wednesday from 9:00–4:30, so my availability is a bit more limited during those days. However, I’m available during evenings on those days for walks or drop-ins. I work from home on Thursdays and Fridays, which allows me to be much more flexible throughout the day for pet care. Weekends can vary for me—I tend to be busy Friday evenings and Saturdays, but Sundays are generally open and a good day for me to provide care. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to ensure pets are comfortable and following their normal routine. During walks, I focus on safe leash handling and choosing routes based on each dog’s needs. For drop-in visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, and lots of play time of course. I always respect clients’ homes and my goal is to keep pets happy, cared for, and at ease while their owners are away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Curtis Bay
Stephanie is a responsible, sweet, and caring person. She arrived on time and patiently walked us through the issues with our alarm until they were resolved. She ensured the safety and happiness of our babies and kept us well-informed throughout the process. Thank you so much, Stephanie.
Megan was amazing! Coco is a very cautious dog, so she took the extra time to get to know her before a family trip and that made a world of difference to us knowing that we didnt have to worry about coco being too anxious while we were gone. On top of that, coco started having tummy troubles while we were gone, and Megan made sure to be super attentive and communicated through the whole trip to make sure we were as up to date as possible. Ifbi could rate her more than 5 stars I would!

Daniel was able to help us out last minute with watching our dog over the weekend. We have a very timid dog who can be difficult to walk if he’s scared and Daniel was able to do a meet and greet and was able to gently connect with him and handle him over the weekend without any problems. He asked a lot of specific questions during the meet and greet in order to best care for our pup and sent a lot of updates throughout his visits.

A pleasure to work with. Very professional. I can't say enough about Quin. She cared for our dog, Wahini and rabbits , while we were gone, sending daily texts and photos of their adventures. We came home to a happy happy, well-fed dog. . Knowing she was in such loving, attentive hands put my mind completely at ease. We'll definitely book with Quin again!".

Catherine took wonderful care of Bella. When a few unexpected issues came up, Catherine handled them calmly and efficiently, keeping us informed and problem-solving without hesitation. Bella was comfortable, happy, and well cared for when we returned, which says everything. Reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring, Catherine gave us peace of mind and earned our full trust. We would gladly recommend her to anyone who wants their pet treated like family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
