“There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Sabrina, Ryan, and their little boy for always making sure our senior pups are well taking care of. This time around our pups had some tummy issues and they kept us informed and updated. Although we felt awful for the messes they’ve had to clean up, they never complained or made us feel bad about it. They will always be our first pick when we are out of town!!”

“Rebecca takes great care of our kitties when we’re gone. We get pics and updates each day, which I love. We’re repeat customers. Rebecca is reliable and flexible. Thank you!”

“Although I ended up having to cancel my trip so Ashley/Olivia didn’t end up doing the drop in visits, Olivia was great at the drop-in visit I scheduled before our trip! My chinchillas took to her immediately. Gus, our fiestiest boy, happily accepted cheek scritches from her and another one of my chins even let her pick him up :) That says a lot about how she interacts with animals because as prey animals, trust doesn’t come easily to chinchillas. She also asked a lot of important questions about their care which I appreciated. She was super responsive and flexible about when I came to pick up my key from her. I would feel at ease with her taking care of my pets the next time I need care for them!”
“Ryan did an excellent job taking care of my cat Casey. I was very happy to receive pictures of Casey where Ryan was interacting with him. This meant that Casey liked him and felt safe around him, which is very important to me. I hope to book Ryan again for Casey's care.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was around 11 years old and I had a cat when I was little. I absolutely adore animals and believe they deserve the absolute best care. I currently have a full time job but am free every day after 5:30. I will happily take care of your fur baby in the morning before work, on my hour lunch break, and after work. Fully available every other Saturday (after 1:30 on the others) and every Sunday. I make sure my dog is properly fed throughout the day and always has clean water. I take him outside every few hours to use the bathroom and so he can run around and play in the fresh air.
“Jennie is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in every way and treated my dog, Max, like he was her own. From the very first walk, I could tell how much she genuinely cared about him. She sent me updates, gave Max lots of love and attention, and made sure he was happy and comfortable the whole time. Max came back from his walks full of tail wags and smiles! It was such a relief knowing he was in such great hands. I couldn’t recommend Jennie more—she’s the best!”

“Megan was an amazing caretaker of my cat. She was very attentive to detail and her visits provided the comfort my senior cat was longing for while I was away for six nights. I’m looking forward to provide her services whenever I’ll be out of town.”

About: Hey my names Nia! Im a 35 year old pet enthusiast. I live in Glen burnie. Grew up in Crofton and recently moved back! I have reliable transportation. Want your pup to go to a dog park? No problem! I have a 12 year old Shepard-pit rescue named Karma that I frequently take on hikes and to parks alike. Ive also got another pitbull rescue named Sasha. High-energy and low-energy dogs and all breeds are welcome I love them all. Im very flexible when it comes to you and your furry friends needs. Ive owned 4 dogs and a cat in my lifetime so I know all pets aren't the same. My oldest lady Spice lived a long happy life of 16 years! I miss her terribly but she taught me a lot about being a responsible pet owner. Ive also volunteered at the local SPCA in Maryland. Ive also got experience with large dogs. I used to work on a horse farm and care for the horses, dogs, and pigs there. One was an Irish Wolfhound and man was he huge! Ive also spent a few months at a local veterinary hospital in Maryland shadowing when I was thinking of pursuing a vet career so Im comfortable handling medications and recovery situations as well. Why I love dog sitting Ive been a dog lover forever. I got my first pup at 7 years old. She was a shepard/pit mix. Loved her for 16 years until she passed away this spring. Ive had 2 other dogs in between; A cocker spaniel named Rex and my most current pup Karma. Shes another pit/shepard mix that I rescued from animal control. Ive got plently of experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I also worked on a horse farm that owned a pack of dogs. They were loads of fun, although some needed medicine to be administered. We took hikes and swims and it was always a good time. Rest assured im good at following any directions you can give me. My experience administering medication Im definitely comfortable administering medication. Ive had to do it with my Old lady Spice. Having a dog for 17 years a few problems arose that were handled with home medication. Also my current pup has horrible allergies so she gets medicine for that for time to time. I'm currently self employed so I've got plenty of availability to tend to your babies! I work most days but can leave anytime to do check ins for sure Not currently offering boarding. More than willing to come to your home though. I take dogs on daily walks. If you've got a yard we can have some outdoor playtime as well. I love to keep them stimulated so you've got a well entertained and content furbaby.
“Michelle took great care of my cats while I was away. She spent a full hour with them every day, and sometimes even longer, making sure they had fresh food, plenty of water, clean litter, and engagement. I especially appreciated how consistent and dependable she was with the daily care routine. One of my cats can be a little particular and attached to his usual way of playing, but Michelle made sure he was safe, cared for, and checked on. She also seemed to really bond with Emi, which meant a lot to me. It gave me peace of mind knowing they had someone patient and attentive coming by each day. I’d happily recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.”

Recognized for advanced animal handling skills, leadership, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced clinical environments. About: Since I was a kid I've been the person neighbors, friends, and family have relied on to watch their fur babies of all shapes and sizes. From maintaing clean litter boxes to taking long walks around the neighborhood, spending time with fur babies of all ages is my passion. While the parents are not home, it is all snuggles and play time. I devote my full attention to keeping our furry friends entertained and happy until their parents return. **Please Understand That if I am Contacted Before 8AM or After 10PM, I will not be able to respond in a timely manner as I too enjoy sleep** I am currently going back to school online, so I'll be able to spend plenty of time hanging with the pups and kittkes just goofing around and snuggling. I do have a 9 month old that will be strapped to me on walks and while visiting your home. He is not going to be down and interacting with the pets. In my client's home, I will be respectful of their property. I can ensure the pets are fed and provided fresh water. I will clean after the animals if there is an accident, and will help maintain tidy litterboxes. If the owner has a fenced in yard that they prefer for the dog to potty in, I will still go behind and bag the fresh poop.
“Aimee did a wonderful job of kitty sitting my fur babies! She came a few days before to get familiar with the house and cat routine, quickly understood the auto feeder that I had, and performed the all litter unpleasantries. She was able to coax out my big baby for dinners, and allowed my friendly feline access to her tennis shoes!! I will definitely hire her for my next trip!”

“Grateful to Tabitha for taking care of Luna and Oliver while we were out of town! Luna was happy for the company and both cats were well taken care of during the visit.”

About: Hi my name is Aayana, i am 28 and i live in the Glen Burnie area but i have a car and can easily travel to and from to walk your pet or to pet sit. I am very passionate about animals and their wellbeing! I’ve had pets all of my life and know the struggles of balancing work and pleasure while also caring for a pet. Generally my family or friends ask me to care for their pets when they are out of town, and I also regularly pet sit for 2 families throughout the year. I also used to be an independent contractor through “Love Those Paws” and “WAG” where i had dogs, cats and other animals to care for! When i’m not caring for pets you can find me enjoying a movie or tv show, painting, hoop dancing or doing hair or lash extensions. I take on demand walks in my free time but generally prefer scheduled/reoccurring walks. Im a small person (100lbs) so my max is 3 dogs to walk at a time and i generally try to find local paths to walk. I am experienced in administering medication for pets I create my own schedule, so i have (mostly) complete flexibility! Mondays & Tuesdays i take & pick up my child from school, so there’s about an hour in the morning and afternoon that i am not available. I do not do boardings at my own house as 2 of my cats have anxiety and introducing a new animal would cause unnecessary stress for them. However, i will do house sittings at the owners home! I currently have 2 families that i have worked with for 3 years that i house/pet sit for throughout the year.

“Lanese was extremely sweet and patient with our very shy elderly kitty. We got great daily updates with a photo. Although our kitty is shy and often difficult to locate, Lanese was sure to make a connection and help her feel loved while pet sitting. I would definitely recommend this compassionate pet sitter!”

About: While you are away, let your dogs enjoy a pupcation! My wife and I have been caring and training dogs for 10+ years. We have a fenced yard with a lake just beyond that. We currently have 2 friendly dogs who love to play. We can guarantee your dog will have an awesome time! We will train your dog as well if you would like. Dogs will get walked every day and plenty of play time. In this house hold, dogs are part of the family! Able to adapt and provide whatever care you require for your dog. I work 6am - 2pm and my wife works at a hospital over night. So there is always someone home to look after the dogs. If you want, we can take the dog out to the lake. We take ours out there all the time, it is shallow. But if you don't want them to, they don't need to. Our yard is fully fenced and cut off from the pond. Both my wife and I work, but she works night and I work days. So at all times we have someone home watching the pups. We treat your dog just like they were our own. We give them all the love, attention and care that they need. Your dog will gets plenty of play time, cuddles and care.
“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

Glenwood dog parents share their Rover experiences
Stephanie, was great, I was going away for a day trip in New York with my daughter and we met. She was very nice very pleasant by Dogs liked her. We scheduled three visits for the day. She came on time and followed the instructions that I left for her. She was very professional as a dog border myself. I really appreciate it her.

Liz was amazing, as always. A check-in and potty break for our pups ended up being a cleaning project, not to mention having to deal with a visiting family member’s evil chihuahua, and she handled everything very graciously. Our two dogs love her (one of them being an incredibly discriminating corgi) and we feel a lot more at ease when we know Liz is taking care of them. She’s the best!

I found Dolores through a referral from another Rover sitter who couldn’t accommodate my dates. When I reached out, she responded right away and confirmed she was available. This was my first time using Rover, so I wasn’t completely sure how everything worked, but Dolores made the process easy. She messaged me through Rover and suggested a meet‑and‑greet at my home to make sure it was a good fit. She was warm, pleasant, and very approachable — my wife and I knew immediately that we had found our new sitter. On the first day, my digital front‑door lock wouldn’t work for her, and she contacted me right away. To make things even more interesting, a malfunction caused my smoke detectors to start going off. None of this rattled Dolores. She stayed at the house until I was able to get home from work, and once I arrived, we got everything sorted out. Most people would have run for the hills, but Dolores stuck with it, and the next two days went perfectly. She arrived on time each day and sent multiple photos of our dog Princess, which I really appreciated. I was completely satisfied with her care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her — and I’ll absolutely use her again when needed.

Thank you for looking after Taro for the second time. I really recommend them. We were out of town and Jahcarre and Morgan stopped by for an hour on two separate days. They were on time and allowed our dog to relax for a while. We really appreciate the both of you.

Cheyenne checked in on our three pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) while we were away. She gave them lots of snuggles and they immediately warmed up to her. Even my shy kitty came out to say hi and fight for pets from her, my dogs were taking all of her time/hands haha. Cheyenne was very responsive, and did everything i asked her to do! (it was a lot). Thank you, Cheyenne. We will most definitely keep you in mind for future trips!
