“Megan was an amazing caretaker of my cat. She was very attentive to detail and her visits provided the comfort my senior cat was longing for while I was away for six nights. I’m looking forward to provide her services whenever I’ll be out of town.”

“Christopher took excellent care of our 4 month old puppy for a 30 minute drop-in each day this week! Our pup has so much energy and is still learning how to be a dog, but Chris did awesome managing him! We got updated pictures of them on long walks each day while my partner and I are at work. Our apartment was kept in great condition, he followed our instructions perfectly. We will definitely be using him again.”

“Claudia was great! She is very caring and loving. This was our first time leaving our cat Linda with someone else but it seemed like she was fine with Claudia. Our cat is very shy and not friendly with strangers. We would definitely book her again!”

“Wonderful walks with detailed updates. I think our dogs would be happy if we went on another trip as long as they get to stay with grandma and have these lovely walks! Caring and kind. Will absolutely book again. It’s a relief to have Laurie and James available for our pups.”

“We had a great experience with Yeji! She took wonderful care of our cats and followed all of our instructions perfectly, including their different feeding routines. She was reliable, communicative, and made it easy for us to enjoy our trip without worrying about the cats. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for cats. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“Melinda was the absolute best! She was prompt, communicative, and loved on our best buddy as if he was her own. She went above and beyond to make sure he felt cared for, and what more can you ask for when it comes to your fur baby! She sent the best pics and even a video of our big boy *attempting* to do a spin move! 🤣🥲 safe to say Oakley already can’t wait for her to come back!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hanover
Nia did an absolutely phenomenal job with our babies! We have never had a pet sitter before, but we decided we’d give it a go for this trip away from home. From the moment I saw her profile on Rover, I could tell she was such a good person and then once we met in person, I confirmed that! Nia took care of our 5 babies while we were in Tennessee, and completely put our minds at ease knowing the great care they were receiving!❤️ Nia consistently updated us with very detailed messages and the funniest/ cutest photos! (She’s really great at taking action shots😆) Every visit Nia made sure to make every animal feel super special and loved by dedicating time to do each of their favorite things (sitting outside, pets, playing with toys, giving treats, etc.) Nia even went out of her way to change up food to ensure everyone was happy with their meals when the animals started getting picky!😅 She also cleaned up the pets accidents with 0 hesitation! We could not be more thankful to have had Nia as our sitter, we feel blessed to have such an amazing person take care of the most important things in our lives! We look forward to having her again! I already know for a fact that all of our pets are going to miss her!🥹❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
