“Sabrina and Ryan are amazing! They took such good care of our senior goldens. This was the first vacation we have gone on where we didn’t have to worry about our dogs. Sabrina and Ryan were spot on for communication and transparency. Our dogs always looked well taken care of and happy. Every visit was completed on time. Will book again and again!”

“Grateful to Tabitha for taking care of Luna and Oliver while we were out of town! Luna was happy for the company and both cats were well taken care of during the visit.”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and have tons of experience walking, feeding, bathing, playing with all types of dogs. I'm an extreme dog lover so I know how to make your pups feel safe and comfortable! My last dog was 16 years old, so I have experience caring for older dogs with more particular needs, but I've also worked with younger, smaller dogs as well! I'm looking for a job for the summer, so any positions later in the day or on the weekends would be great for my schedule. I'm in school in Baltimore but come home most weekends throughout the fall and spring! I have a small, but fenced in and trustworthy backyard that was great for two dogs for 13 years! My house isn't huge but comfortably fits my family of four and fit our two medium-sized dogs for years!
“Ryan did an excellent job taking care of my cat Casey. I was very happy to receive pictures of Casey where Ryan was interacting with him. This meant that Casey liked him and felt safe around him, which is very important to me. I hope to book Ryan again for Casey's care.”

About: Since I was a kid I've been the person neighbors, friends, and family have relied on to watch their fur babies of all shapes and sizes. From maintaing clean litter boxes to taking long walks around the neighborhood, spending time with fur babies of all ages is my passion. While the parents are not home, it is all snuggles and play time. I devote my full attention to keeping our furry friends entertained and happy until their parents return. **Please Understand That if I am Contacted Before 8AM or After 10PM, I will not be able to respond in a timely manner as I too enjoy sleep** I am currently going back to school online, so I'll be able to spend plenty of time hanging with the pups and kittkes just goofing around and snuggling. I do have a 9 month old that will be strapped to me on walks and while visiting your home. He is not going to be down and interacting with the pets. In my client's home, I will be respectful of their property. I can ensure the pets are fed and provided fresh water. I will clean after the animals if there is an accident, and will help maintain tidy litterboxes. If the owner has a fenced in yard that they prefer for the dog to potty in, I will still go behind and bag the fresh poop.
“Megan was an amazing caretaker of my cat. She was very attentive to detail and her visits provided the comfort my senior cat was longing for while I was away for six nights. I’m looking forward to provide her services whenever I’ll be out of town.”

“Lanese was extremely sweet and patient with our very shy elderly kitty. We got great daily updates with a photo. Although our kitty is shy and often difficult to locate, Lanese was sure to make a connection and help her feel loved while pet sitting. I would definitely recommend this compassionate pet sitter!”

About: Hey there! My name is Rowan, and I’ve been caring for pets my entire life. I grew up in a big, animal–loving household – currently, I live with seven cats and a very loving husky! I’m home for the summer from Salisbury University, and I’m looking forward to providing services like dog walking, drop-in visits, and potential overnight stays. Having handled a wide variety of breeds and sizes, I’m confident adapting to whatever unique schedule, routine, or medical needs your pet has. I pride myself on my punctuality, communication, and time management. My summer schedule is highly open and flexible and I’m eager to meet your furry friends! Please feel free to reach out and lets chat! I’m currently hosting at a restaurant part time Wednesday’s and Thursday mornings but am available pretty much any time for drop-ins or walks! I have a large, fenced in yard with plenty of grass and open space. My dog likes to free roam the yard but the cats I live with stay indoors.
About: Hi my name is Aayana, i am 28 and i live in the Glen Burnie area but i have a car and can easily travel to and from to walk your pet or to pet sit. I am very passionate about animals and their wellbeing! I’ve had pets all of my life and know the struggles of balancing work and pleasure while also caring for a pet. Generally my family or friends ask me to care for their pets when they are out of town, and I also regularly pet sit for 2 families throughout the year. I also used to be an independent contractor through “Love Those Paws” and “WAG” where i had dogs, cats and other animals to care for! When i’m not caring for pets you can find me enjoying a movie or tv show, painting, hoop dancing or doing hair or lash extensions. I take on demand walks in my free time but generally prefer scheduled/reoccurring walks. Im a small person (100lbs) so my max is 3 dogs to walk at a time and i generally try to find local paths to walk. I am experienced in administering medication for pets I create my own schedule, so i have (mostly) complete flexibility! Mondays & Tuesdays i take & pick up my child from school, so there’s about an hour in the morning and afternoon that i am not available. I do not do boardings at my own house as 2 of my cats have anxiety and introducing a new animal would cause unnecessary stress for them. However, i will do house sittings at the owners home! I currently have 2 families that i have worked with for 3 years that i house/pet sit for throughout the year.
“Ms. Pat was amazing! We went away for the weekend to Boston and hired her for multiple daily drop in visits for our two dogs and she did not disappoint. I was able to have a good time trusting her to watch and take care of our fur babies! I got daily updates and she even helped around the house (cleaning up after the dogs) while I was gone. I couldn’t have asked for a better babysitter! I will definitely hire her again! Thank you Ms. Pat!”

About: With a deep passion for animal welfare, I have developed a lifelong affinity for dogs. My household has always included at least one dog, and I have gained extensive experience in caring for them throughout my adult life. My children, now adults, grew up in dog-friendly households and have continued this tradition with their own families. I strongly believe that a home is incomplete without the companionship of a four-legged friend. I am well-versed in handling various breeds and sizes of dogs. Your dog and I will enjoy exploring the neighborhood together, discovering new sights and smells. On occasion, we may visit our local Starbucks for a pup cup treat, with your prior approval. We may also take a stroll through the nearby park, weather permitting. I understand the importance of providing dogs with opportunities to experience new environments and sensations. My ultimate goal is to ensure that your dog remains comfortable and stress-free at all times. Please feel free to contact me to schedule a meet and greet. I am available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, to provide pet care services for your fur babies. On Sundays, I am available anytime after 12:30 p.m., following church services. My residence features a fenced yard, providing a secure environment for my five pets. I diligently supervise them, limiting their time alone to brief intervals. We participate in regular walks, adjusted according to weather conditions. I prioritize their comfort, avoiding walks in extreme temperatures and taking measures to protect them from the elements.
“Aimee was very responsive and communicative which is reassuring while you’re away. She was sweet with my cats and understanding about their quirks. I will definitely hire her again next time I’m traveling!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover living in Severn with my two spoiled cats. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you're away. I have hands-on experience caring for cats and love spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply having a companion nearby, I'm happy to provide attentive, loving care tailored to their needs. For cats, I understand the importance of respecting their routines, providing enrichment, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! My current work schedule has me in the office 7am - 3:30pm. I'm available Monday - Friday anytime after 4pm, and am available overnight. Saturdays, Sundays & holidays are flexible! I can easily keep your dog separate from my two cats if needed. There is a (unfenced) yard that backs into the woods. My house is tucked away in a lovely neighborhood with sidewalks, perfect to walk your pup.
“Rebecca did a great job taking care of our 2 kitties while we were away. I loved getting pics every day and little notes. Thanks so much for putting our mind at ease that our kitties were in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was around 11 years old and I had a cat when I was little. I absolutely adore animals and believe they deserve the absolute best care. I currently have a full time job but am free every day after 5:30. I will happily take care of your fur baby in the morning before work, on my hour lunch break, and after work. Fully available every other Saturday (after 1:30 on the others) and every Sunday. I make sure my dog is properly fed throughout the day and always has clean water. I take him outside every few hours to use the bathroom and so he can run around and play in the fresh air.
“Shannon was a dream! We are so happy we were able to find her before our trip. She went above and beyond making sure our cats were happy and taken care of. She also made sure to send us many updates which really put our minds at ease. Most importantly our cats loved her and felt safe and comfortable with her! We will definitely book with her again when we go out of town!”

“Jazmin was fantastic taking care of my two cats Kate and Bella. It was helpful that Jazmin was familiar with the litter system I used. She took such good care of my cats as if they were her own. I highly recommend Jazmin to care for your cat(s). She clearly loves them and takes great care of them. Thank you Jazmin, for the loving care you provided Kate and Bella. I will definitely use you again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glen Burnie
Alise is always the best!! She has dog sat for our two babes many many time. This time, we had some changes in scheduling and issues with our electronic front door lock, but Alise was great with navigating it and communication. There’s no one else I trust with our pups. 10/10 always!!

Stephanie, was great, I was going away for a day trip in New York with my daughter and we met. She was very nice very pleasant by Dogs liked her. We scheduled three visits for the day. She came on time and followed the instructions that I left for her. She was very professional as a dog border myself. I really appreciate it her.

Liz was amazing, as always. A check-in and potty break for our pups ended up being a cleaning project, not to mention having to deal with a visiting family member’s evil chihuahua, and she handled everything very graciously. Our two dogs love her (one of them being an incredibly discriminating corgi) and we feel a lot more at ease when we know Liz is taking care of them. She’s the best!

Thank you for looking after Taro for the second time. I really recommend them. We were out of town and Jahcarre and Morgan stopped by for an hour on two separate days. They were on time and allowed our dog to relax for a while. We really appreciate the both of you.

Cheyenne checked in on our three pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) while we were away. She gave them lots of snuggles and they immediately warmed up to her. Even my shy kitty came out to say hi and fight for pets from her, my dogs were taking all of her time/hands haha. Cheyenne was very responsive, and did everything i asked her to do! (it was a lot). Thank you, Cheyenne. We will most definitely keep you in mind for future trips!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Glen Burnie choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Glen Burnie with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
