About: I have grown up with dogs and cats being a part of my family since I was a kid who enjoyed giving extra treats to my grandmother's Chow Chow! I have experience with dog walking and pet sitting for friends and family. I have a pretty open weekly schedule as I am currently between jobs. I also have reliable transportation so getting to your pets will be no problem! I will do everything in my power to make sure your pet feels safe and welcome in my company. If this means extra belly rubs or treats, then I can make that happen!
“Kim was amazing!!!! My elderly dog who had diabetes, one eye, enlarged heart and cough needs special tlc. My mother in law who stays with my Romeo has Parkinson’s so it’s difficult for her to give the insulin. Kim came every morning and evening to help with my cuddle boy and she was really amazing with his grouchy old man attitude and helped my mother in law over the Easter Holiday. I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy my trip away with my daughter if it weren’t for Kim helping us out. She is wonderful, without a doubt.”

About: I've been dog sitting since I was 8 years old, and I've had a dog by my side my entire life, caring for animals isn't just something I do, it's something I've always done. That lifetime of hands-on experience means I know how to read a dog's body language, adjust to different personalities, and make sure every pet feels comfortable and loved in my care. I'm also a West Point graduate and former U.S. Army Officer, so on top of a lifetime of loving animals, you're getting someone who's disciplined, reliable, and calm under pressure, someone who shows up exactly when they say they will and follows your instructions to the letter. I have specific experience with more delicate situations too: caring for nursing puppies (round-the-clock feeding, monitoring, keeping mom and litter comfortable) and elderly dogs with medication needs (comfortable administering pills, tracking dosing schedules, and watching for changes in mobility or behavior). If your pet needs a little extra patience, routine, or vigilance, I won't cut corners. I'm currently between roles, which means I have genuine flexibility — not just "I'll squeeze you in" availability. I can care for your pet any day of the week, including weekdays, last-minute bookings, and longer stretches if you're traveling. Consistency matters to pets, and I'm able to offer real consistency in walk times, feeding schedules, and check-ins. Whether I'm in your home or mine, safety and routine come first. In your home, I follow your instructions to the letter — feeding schedules, medication timing, leash/collar preferences, and any household rules you have (furniture, gates, alarm codes) are treated as non-negotiable. I do a full walkthrough on arrival to check food/water access and secure any hazards. If pets are staying in my home, it's a calm, secure, pet-proofed environment — no unsupervised access to other animals unless you've approved a meet-and-greet first, and I keep a consistent daily rhythm (feeding, walks, downtime) so pets settle in quickly. I send photo/video updates so you always know your pet is safe and content, and I'm reachable by phone throughout the stay for anything urgent.

“So amazing having Allison as a pet sitter! She took excellent care of my cats while I was away for a month and half on a military deployment. She sent updates with photos and responded quickly when I requested any. My apartment and plants were also taken very very care of and spent extra time with my cats when she was able to. I highly recommend her as she’s as caring as she is professional!”

About: For 18 years I have cared for my own dogs and dog sat for friends and family. I worked at a vet clinic for 4 years ending 13 years ago. Familiar with many breeds and comfortable with them as well. I currently working full time but my husband works from home completely so we always have a person around, including my kids who are great care takers. I work from home usually a day or two. I have a 6 foot fence and 2 friendly dogs to keep your furbaby company. No other pets are in the home. We are great with giving meds and love to all animals.
“Went above and beyond our expectations of caring for our 6 cats while out of town for a weekend. I would definitely recommend using her and will be rebooking with her again in the future. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our fur babies while we were away!”

“First time we have ever used this Service and Alexandria was perfect. Great pictures, notifications and updates were clear and the stress of leaving our dog at home and as gone!”

About: I have been house/pet sitting since I worked at a veterinary hospital while in college. I am a nurse at school during the day with great availability! Summers, holidays, weekends and evenings. Again I am a nurse at school during the day so my best hours are afternoons, evenings, summer, weekends and holidays. I am also available to sit at my home. I have a secure fenced yard within a great neighborhood if your dog/dogs come to me. I am comfortable and confident with all shapes and sizes and breeds of pets.

“This was our first time hiring Noor to care for our three dogs, and we had complete peace of mind knowing they were in her hands. From our very first meet-and-greet, it was clear that she was incredibly experienced, which immediately put us at ease. Our fur babies are our children, so finding someone we can truly trust means everything. We have a senior dog with special needs and two energetic female dogs, and Noor was absolutely amazing with all of them. She gave each of them so much love and attention, made sure they were well-fed, and took excellent care of all of their individual needs. We’ve struggled to find a trustworthy dog sitter, but I’m so happy to say we’ve finally found one in Noor. We are beyond grateful for the care and compassion she showed our pups. Thank you so much for everything, Noor—we can’t wait to have you watch them again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very patient with senior dogs and puppies and I love to see them happy. Overnight stays are easier since I have my own pets and I can monitor and walk them all together and keep them in a routine. My dog sleeps in his bed, he is an older dog so sleeps a lot and my cats sleep in their tree or couch. I live in a townhome with plenty of room for the babies to play and/or keep company
“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was young, I love dogs. I enjoy meeting their different personality traits and getting to know them. Dogs make my heart melt. I will take care of your dogs as though they are my own because i know the fear that comes associated since I’ve kept my dog with others myself. I have a pitbull and a chihuahua as well as 2 cats so I love any size, any attitude. They’re all perfect lovable creatures & I really enjoy taking dogs for walks and playing with them or even just laying with them and cuddling. My dogs are my best friends and I would like to make your dogs the same way. They need lots of love attention and affection and I’m willing to provide that when you aren’t able to! I’m currently in school for social work so I have a lot of extra time on my hands, I love filling it with our furry friends. I understand all methods of caretaking when it comes to our pets. If your dog is a jumper, I’ll always watch and make sure they don’t jump over any fences. I am somewhat of a hover parent myself & I keep such an eye on my pets, they’ve never had an accident resulting in a vet visit. I also understand sensitive stomachs & our babies that are dying to eat everything, itching for a vet appt but not on my watch. I multitask well so your pet will never go unnoticed.
“Miss Pat is amazing. This is our second time using her services and she was wonderful. Our 2 fur babies are our children. She followed all the directions to a T (our Pitbull is on a specific medication regimen) and Miss Pat did a great job following that! She even was able to stop in for an emergency visit when our dog wasn’t moving from under the dining room table (people still shooting off fireworks) and she stopped in to make sure she was okay. Miss Pat is extremely reliable, communicates without any hesitation, and really helped make our vacation relaxing knowing that our fur babies were taken care of. Thank you Miss Pat!”

About: Hello, my name is Lindsay! My neighbors have trusted me to watch their dogs for years when they’ve gone away. I’ve trained both of my dogs to listen when called and to do many tricks. My goal is to keep pets happy and safe, and maintain any routines they might have. I am a college student that is also working part time. I have classes in the early afternoon Monday-Thursday, and work as a life guard Friday and Sunday mornings, but am otherwise able to care for your pets any time of the week. I care for pets in their own homes. Being in a space they are comfortable in allows pets to feel more at ease and safe versus being in a new place with a new face.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pasadena
Carla was awazing with our two girls. She took such good care of them. I was able to enjoy time away knowing that they were in good hands. We played with them, gave them so much attention and even cleaned up the yard. I will definitely use Carla again and highly recommend her.

Aiden watched our dog and cat for a long weekend and did an amazing job. He checked in regularly, asked questions if needed, and was very responsive. We have a disabled, elderly, dog and he was great at giving her medication too. I definitely recommend using him.
Alise is always the best!! She has dog sat for our two babes many many time. This time, we had some changes in scheduling and issues with our electronic front door lock, but Alise was great with navigating it and communication. There’s no one else I trust with our pups. 10/10 always!!

Our dog was a challenge for the first few visits. It was the first time Tim took care of our pets and it was for a long weekend. Tim took the time to earn our dog's trust and was able to play frisbee after a day or so. He truly cares about pets, even our difficult one. By the time we came home he was even able to pet our dog. We will continue to use him during our travels.

Owen did a wonderful job with my two Bernedoodles. He was punctual, very responsible, and took thoughtful notes, which I really appreciated. He handled everything smoothly and professionally, and I felt confident knowing my pups were well cared for. I highly recommend him to anyone.

It was our first time trying the rover app and we weren’t sure if someone will be able to look after our pets given the busy Christmas season. Thankfully we found Rebecca! Kuma and Kitty seemed to warm up to her right away. She was communicative. Will definitely book again 👍🏻

Elizabeth was wonderful! She came and met my pups the day before and they loved her. Everything went off well and I'm having her back already. I really appreciate how flexible she was at a last moment request. And, I loved her report! Will use again! Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
