“Kim was amazing!!!! My elderly dog who had diabetes, one eye, enlarged heart and cough needs special tlc. My mother in law who stays with my Romeo has Parkinson’s so it’s difficult for her to give the insulin. Kim came every morning and evening to help with my cuddle boy and she was really amazing with his grouchy old man attitude and helped my mother in law over the Easter Holiday. I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy my trip away with my daughter if it weren’t for Kim helping us out. She is wonderful, without a doubt.”
About: Since I was a kid I've been the person neighbors, friends, and family have relied on to watch their fur babies of all shapes and sizes. From maintaing clean litter boxes to taking long walks around the neighborhood, spending time with fur babies of all ages is my passion. While the parents are not home, it is all snuggles and play time. I devote my full attention to keeping our furry friends entertained and happy until their parents return. **Please Understand That if I am Contacted Before 8AM or After 10PM, I will not be able to respond in a timely manner as I too enjoy sleep** I am currently going back to school online, so I'll be able to spend plenty of time hanging with the pups and kitties just goofing around and snuggling. In my client's home, I will be respectful of their property. I can ensure the pets are fed and provided fresh water. I will clean after the animals if there is an accident, and will help maintain tidy litterboxes. If the owner has a fenced in yard that they prefer for the dog to potty in, I will still go behind and bag the fresh poop.
About: For 18 years I have cared for my own dogs and dog sat for friends and family. I worked at a vet clinic for 4 years ending 13 years ago. Familiar with many breeds and comfortable with them as well. I currently working full time but my husband works from home completely so we always have a person around, including my kids who are great care takers. I work from home usually a day or two. I have a 6 foot fence and 2 friendly dogs to keep your furbaby company. No other pets are in the home. We are great with giving meds and love to all animals.

“Megan had great communication during the booking experience and accommodated our need to change the date of the Meet and Greet. She was very friendly and professional when she came over to meet us and Frank. She double checked and confirmed all information. She sent us pictures during her time watching Frank. She made sure to play with Frank in front of the PetCam so we could see him being cute. He was healthy and content when we returned home. We would be happy to ask Megan to watch Frank again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very patient with senior dogs and puppies and I love to see them happy. Overnight stays are easier since I have my own pets and I can monitor and walk them all together and keep them in a routine. My dog sleeps in his bed, he is an older dog so sleeps a lot and my cats sleep in their tree or couch. I live in a townhome with plenty of room for the babies to play and/or keep company
“Melissa is really caring with my boy Harry. She has cared for Harry for the second time while I have been away. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, bringing Harry toys, and doing small extra things like bringing in mail/ packages, clean up and organizing things.”

“This was our first time using River and Victoria was wonderful with our two dogs! She knocked it out of the park. She sent us pictures everyday while we were gone and we could tell that our dogs really took to her and her daughter. Victoria even took in our packages off the front porch and brought them inside. Thanks Victoria!”

“Briana was incredible! I truly count myself as lucky to have found someone that cared for my babies like they were her very own. Even in one of the worst scenarios we could've been in, she held her compsure and did what we couldn't. She immediately let me know something was wrong with my Gordito's health and then went above and beyond to care for him in his time of need. It's because of her that we found some peace in a very difficult time, and I can't thank her enough.”

“Chelsea was absolutely great! She provided drop in care for our 2 cats when we were out of town. She did exactly what we asked her to manage and it was great! Our cats were very happy and comfortable around her which is NOT the norm. Just goes to show how sweet and good she is with pets. I highly recommend!”

I understand the high responsibility that comes along with taking care of a dog inside a client’s home. I am open to meeting before to ensure I am the right fit for your dog.
“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

About: Reliable, Attentive Care — I Treat Your Pets Like Family Hi, I’m Stacey. I’m new to Rover, but not new to caring deeply and responsibly for dogs. I recently lost my own dog after many years, and that experience reinforced how important patience, comfort, and dependable care truly are. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone with a pet you love. I follow routines closely, take instructions seriously, and pay attention to the small details that help pets feel safe and secure. I’m especially patient with senior dogs, anxious pets, or dogs who need a calm, steady presence. I provide regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is in good hands. Schedule availability: Currently, my availability is during weekday (elementary) school hours (8am - 2pm), ensuring dedicated attention for each visit giving focus and unrushed care. For walks and drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s routine and instructions closely. I ensure leashes, doors, and gates are secure, monitor behavior and comfort, and give calm, attentive care. I respect my clients’ homes and provide clear updates and photos after every visit.

I'm a quick at responding, so feel free to reach out whenever you may have a pet need. As a student, I have flexible hours and more availability than perhaps the average employee. I make it a point to take my own dog, Snickers on a walk at least once a day as well as playing fetch with her. I'd be happy to help keep your pet entertained as well. I have a comfortable home with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, and can make accomodations according to your pet's needs. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pasadena
Last month I found out that my previous dog walker moved out of town, I ran across Emma's profile and noticed she had many good reviews. We met for a meet and greet and my husband and I both felt comfortable having her care for our dog. We scheduled a weekend trip and we had no issues. I booked her again for a week long of drop in visits and she went above and beyond to make sure our dog was well taken care of. I would definetely recommend Emma to care for your pups. Thanks again for everything <3

Aiden watched our dog and cat for a long weekend and did an amazing job. He checked in regularly, asked questions if needed, and was very responsive. We have a disabled, elderly, dog and he was great at giving her medication too. I definitely recommend using him.
Alise is always the best!! She has dog sat for our two babes many many time. This time, we had some changes in scheduling and issues with our electronic front door lock, but Alise was great with navigating it and communication. There’s no one else I trust with our pups. 10/10 always!!

Our dog was a challenge for the first few visits. It was the first time Tim took care of our pets and it was for a long weekend. Tim took the time to earn our dog's trust and was able to play frisbee after a day or so. He truly cares about pets, even our difficult one. By the time we came home he was even able to pet our dog. We will continue to use him during our travels.

Owen did a wonderful job with my two Bernedoodles. He was punctual, very responsible, and took thoughtful notes, which I really appreciated. He handled everything smoothly and professionally, and I felt confident knowing my pups were well cared for. I highly recommend him to anyone.

It was our first time trying the rover app and we weren’t sure if someone will be able to look after our pets given the busy Christmas season. Thankfully we found Rebecca! Kuma and Kitty seemed to warm up to her right away. She was communicative. Will definitely book again 👍🏻

Elizabeth was wonderful! She came and met my pups the day before and they loved her. Everything went off well and I'm having her back already. I really appreciate how flexible she was at a last moment request. And, I loved her report! Will use again! Thank you!

Michelle was AMAZING! We came home to a very happy and healthy pup. She was on time and provided pics and updates from each visit. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately made my husband and I feel at ease. We will definitely be hiring her again and again!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
