“Phenomenal care, professional, reliable and even located my ninja cat (Terrell’s typically not social unless I’m there, he rarely is “found” by care givers… but Melissa got him 2 out 3 ;)”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats being a part of my family since I was a kid who enjoyed giving extra treats to my grandmother's Chow Chow! I have experience with dog walking and pet sitting for friends and family. I have a pretty open weekly schedule as I am currently between jobs. I also have reliable transportation so getting to your pets will be no problem! I will do everything in my power to make sure your pet feels safe and welcome in my company. If this means extra belly rubs or treats, then I can make that happen!
“Kim was amazing!!!! My elderly dog who had diabetes, one eye, enlarged heart and cough needs special tlc. My mother in law who stays with my Romeo has Parkinson’s so it’s difficult for her to give the insulin. Kim came every morning and evening to help with my cuddle boy and she was really amazing with his grouchy old man attitude and helped my mother in law over the Easter Holiday. I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy my trip away with my daughter if it weren’t for Kim helping us out. She is wonderful, without a doubt.”
About: I have had my own animals, such as a cat, fish, and have grown up with dogs. I was relied upon to help clean, feed, clean the cat litter and take them outside. Although, I may not know everything I am willing to learn and strive to be better. I have also watched work friends and relatives pets. I have also house sat snakes, rats, ferrets, a lizard and spiders. Note: All in one household as well with two dogs, 4 cats, and 3 kittens. This, I am willing to do multiple animals especially different types. Although I work full time and workout/play rugby, I make sure that I have time that goes to the animals needs before doing anything. Meaning checking on them constantly, making sure they’re fed, etc. before doing anything else I need to do. They are always on my mind. I make sure they are fed in the morning and taken outside (assuming they are dogs) multiple times in the morning. Make sure there is water before heading to work. I play with them for a little and make sure there is enough time for them to get some energy out and play even if it includes a walk. When I get home I make sure (if they are dogs they get let outside. They are fed before I go to sleep. If I have sports I make sure to stop by before then so they can stretch their legs out. Make sure they are fed and okay before being gone for several periods at a time. If they are a cat, I check the litter consistently and make sure they are fed morning and night. All animals are checked daily.

“Megan put our minds to ease the first time we met her. She is professional and she is very thorough in obtaining the information that is needed regarding what we expected as far as pet sitting Bogie. Bogie is a friendly dog, most times, but there are a few people he has been known to 'shun'... Megan wasn't one of them... He took to her right away...and from her description in her texts to us of his behavior when she pet sat for him, he was being his same old silly self. We hope to be able to use Megan for pet sitting whenever we have a need for a Pet Sitter. Very pleased and happy with our Rover experience utilizing Megan as our Pet Sitter!”

“Cassie always takes care of our animals, dog, cats and chicken. We are so grateful for her. I had to write another review because Cassie is the first person (aside from me and my husband) that our new kitten has gone up to and let pet him. He’s super sweet but a scaredy cat so this proves Cassie is an animal whisperer.”
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have experience caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m patient, dependable, and love making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience with puppies, energetic dogs, and keeping pets active and happy. I’m currently home from college for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets. I’m available during weekdays and weekends for walks, and drop- ins. I’m very reliable and can work around most schedules. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure pets are supervised, secure, and cared for like they are my own. “Allison was very responsive and our girls loved her. She sent updates and pictures throughout the visits, which were much appreciated. She was awesome! Our girls seemed very happy when we returned. We would recommend Allison.”
“Alexia is a Great Pet Sitter, she helped Rako out for 9 days, with our return He was Given Food and Water, and there was no mess. I love how she took care of his pads. Great Young Lady to hire.”

“Nicole took amazing care of our senior pups. I usually worry so much when I have to leave them but felt very comfortable that she would take good care of them. She was on time for all of the drop ins we had scheduled, sent us pictures and took good care of my girls. I will definitely use Nicole again and would recommend her to others.”

“Chelsea was absolutely great! She provided drop in care for our 2 cats when we were out of town. She did exactly what we asked her to manage and it was great! Our cats were very happy and comfortable around her which is NOT the norm. Just goes to show how sweet and good she is with pets. I highly recommend!”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had animals in the house. When I was little I started with fish, reptiles, and small animals but as I’ve gotten older I’ve also taken on cats, dogs, birds, etc. Seeing as I’ve looked after many beloved pets throughout my life I’ve also taken on the challenge of learning to administer supplements and medication to the ones that need it. I’ve bottle fed and taken care of newborn puppies and kittens since I was small, and although I’m not a credentialed trainer, pride myself in knowing that I’ve been very good at training the animals I’ve had throughout my life. I’ve owned many breeds of cats and dogs ranging from extra big to extra small and including all stages of life. I’d love to be the one you choose to take care of your furry friends needs. Because of my job, I don’t get off at a certain time on weekdays so I have my availability set to every 8+ hours. I don’t always get off late but it depends on the day so sometimes I’m available more often, and others I’m not. Just to play it safe I’ve limited my hours on these days. As for weekends I’m normally available all day so as long as I don’t already have plans to attend to I can be free whenever. I always make sure to consider the clients comments/ requests when caring for their pets so every situation is different but either way I always take care of each animal to the best of my ability.
“I would like to say thanks to Jazmin for her willingness to continue care of my two pups while my flight was cancelled due to the weather. I appreciate her keeping tabs and updates on my two pups during my absence.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was around 11 years old and I had a cat when I was little. I absolutely adore animals and believe they deserve the absolute best care. I currently have a full time job but am free every day after 5:30. I will happily take care of your fur baby in the morning before work, on my hour lunch break, and after work. Fully available every other Saturday (after 1:30 on the others) and every Sunday. I make sure my dog is properly fed throughout the day and always has clean water. I take him outside every few hours to use the bathroom and so he can run around and play in the fresh air.
About: I’ve owned pets my whole life. Cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, bearded dragons, axolotls… I have had older cats and dogs that require medications and special care. I worked at a pet store for about 2 years. I am always willing to learn about your pet! I am a full time college student, I’m on campus for about 8 hours including commute time. A typical day allows me time to take care of my animals before I leave for class and when I get home. I have a fenced in yard for my dog. My cat and dog are free roam in the house. I have not had an outdoor cat and no declawing. The other animals in my household are in a spacious cage and well taken care of.
About: Since I was a kid I've been the person neighbors, friends, and family have relied on to watch their fur babies of all shapes and sizes. From maintaing clean litter boxes to taking long walks around the neighborhood, spending time with fur babies of all ages is my passion. While the parents are not home, it is all snuggles and play time. I devote my full attention to keeping our furry friends entertained and happy until their parents return. **Please Understand That if I am Contacted Before 8AM or After 10PM, I will not be able to respond in a timely manner as I too enjoy sleep** I am currently going back to school online, so I'll be able to spend plenty of time hanging with the pups and kittkes just goofing around and snuggling. I do have a 9 month old that will be strapped to me on walks and while visiting your home. He is not going to be down and interacting with the pets. In my client's home, I will be respectful of their property. I can ensure the pets are fed and provided fresh water. I will clean after the animals if there is an accident, and will help maintain tidy litterboxes. If the owner has a fenced in yard that they prefer for the dog to potty in, I will still go behind and bag the fresh poop.
About: Hi there! I’ve spent over 9 years working as a veterinary technician at multiple animal hospitals, which gave me hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, breeds, and needs — from playful puppies to gentle senior pets. I’m confident with everything from giving medications and handling special diets to providing extra snuggles and playtime. What sets me apart is that I truly treat every pet like family. Whether it’s long walks, fun games for mental stimulation, or simply making sure your fur baby gets plenty of cuddles, I’ll make their comfort my top priority. I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits during my midday break (9:30AM–2 PM) and evenings after 6:00PM. I’m also available on weekends for walks, playtime, or extended visits. My schedule is consistent, so you can count on me to provide reliable care around the same times each week. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priority. With my 9+ years as a vet tech, I’m confident in handling pets of all ages, personalities, and needs — including administering medications, monitoring special diets, and recognizing signs of stress or discomfort. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I create a calm, loving environment where they’ll feel secure and cared for. I follow your pet’s normal routines closely, so they feel at ease and comfortable. You can also count on me for regular updates and photos, so you’ll always know how your fur baby is doing while you’re away.
About: I've grown up surrounded by animals, from little chihuahuas to big dobermans, and from your grumpiest cats to your sweetest ones. My mother loves to tell people I talked to animals before I talked to people. I am able to read and adapt well to your pets needs, providing the proper love and care to satisfy both you and your furbaby! I am a full-time high school student, and will be able to drop by after 3 pm on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I also do have a part-time job for a couple days out of the week but I make sure I'm able to stop by in between school and work to let them out and feed them! I am very good at reading animals, and will give them as much love or space as they want me to! I am very flexible and will provide whatever care you need me to while abiding by the boundaries you and your pet set for me.
About: Hey my names Nia! Im a 35 year old pet enthusiast. I live in Glen burnie. Grew up in Crofton and recently moved back! I have reliable transportation. Want your pup to go to a dog park? No problem! I have a 12 year old Shepard-pit rescue named Karma that I frequently take on hikes and to parks alike. Ive also got another pitbull rescue named Sasha. High-energy and low-energy dogs and all breeds are welcome I love them all. Im very flexible when it comes to you and your furry friends needs. Ive owned 4 dogs and a cat in my lifetime so I know all pets aren't the same. My oldest lady Spice lived a long happy life of 16 years! I miss her terribly but she taught me a lot about being a responsible pet owner. Ive also volunteered at the local SPCA in Maryland. Ive also got experience with large dogs. I used to work on a horse farm and care for the horses, dogs, and pigs there. One was an Irish Wolfhound and man was he huge! Ive also spent a few months at a local veterinary hospital in Maryland shadowing when I was thinking of pursuing a vet career so Im comfortable handling medications and recovery situations as well. Why I love dog sitting Ive been a dog lover forever. I got my first pup at 7 years old. She was a shepard/pit mix. Loved her for 16 years until she passed away this spring. Ive had 2 other dogs in between; A cocker spaniel named Rex and my most current pup Karma. Shes another pit/shepard mix that I rescued from animal control. Ive got plently of experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I also worked on a horse farm that owned a pack of dogs. They were loads of fun, although some needed medicine to be administered. We took hikes and swims and it was always a good time. Rest assured im good at following any directions you can give me. My experience administering medication Im definitely comfortable administering medication. Ive had to do it with my Old lady Spice. Having a dog for 17 years a few problems arose that were handled with home medication. Also my current pup has horrible allergies so she gets medicine for that for time to time. I'm currently self employed so I've got plenty of availability to tend to your babies! I work most days but can leave anytime to do check ins for sure Not currently offering boarding. More than willing to come to your home though. I take dogs on daily walks. If you've got a yard we can have some outdoor playtime as well. I love to keep them stimulated so you've got a well entertained and content furbaby.
Pasadena dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our dog was a challenge for the first few visits. It was the first time Tim took care of our pets and it was for a long weekend. Tim took the time to earn our dog's trust and was able to play frisbee after a day or so. He truly cares about pets, even our difficult one. By the time we came home he was even able to pet our dog. We will continue to use him during our travels.

Owen did a wonderful job with my two Bernedoodles. He was punctual, very responsible, and took thoughtful notes, which I really appreciated. He handled everything smoothly and professionally, and I felt confident knowing my pups were well cared for. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Ady visited my dog while I was out of town yesterday. Ady was awesome (as always).....She sent me a text and picture of my fur baby so I knew he was doing well. She even brought him a new toy and his favorite type of treat! I highly recommend Ady. She is responsive, competent and loves pets.....Her visit made me able to enjoy my time away more fully......
It was our first time trying the rover app and we weren’t sure if someone will be able to look after our pets given the busy Christmas season. Thankfully we found Rebecca! Kuma and Kitty seemed to warm up to her right away. She was communicative. Will definitely book again 👍🏻

Elizabeth was wonderful! She came and met my pups the day before and they loved her. Everything went off well and I'm having her back already. I really appreciate how flexible she was at a last moment request. And, I loved her report! Will use again! Thank you!

Michelle was AMAZING! We came home to a very happy and healthy pup. She was on time and provided pics and updates from each visit. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately made my husband and I feel at ease. We will definitely be hiring her again and again!!
