About: I have taken care of different types of dogs. I love to run, walk and be very active. A stay at home mom of 4 children who love animals and will give the animal a lot of attention and care. Stay at home mom who is home for majority of day except drop off and pick up for school. Two adults home most evenings. Very available for outdoor activities with the dog. The dog would be inside my home hanging out with us. We do have a fenced I. Yard for little potty breaks. Also a lot of grassy areas to use also. We are outside a lot. Plan for many walks, love and attention!

About: With over 10 years of experience in dog care and as a proud owner of two lovable pups, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for ensuring dogs are happy, healthy, and well-cared for. From daily walks and playtime to specialized care and attention, I’ve got it covered! Integrating pet sitting into my weekly routine can be seamless and rewarding. Whether it's scheduling walks, playtime, or feeding, I can easily fit these tasks around my daily activities. Plus, the companionship and joy from spending time with pets can be a great stress reliever and a fun way to stay active! Caring for dogs in either my home or a client's home involves ensuring their safety and comfort. I start with an initial meeting to understand the dog's routine and needs. I maintain a safe environment and follow the specific feeding schedule and dietary requirements provided by the owner. Regular walks and playtime are essential to keep the dog active and happy. I make sure the dog feels at home by providing familiar toys, bedding, and lots of affection. Monitoring the dog's health and administering any necessary medications are also crucial. Throughout the stay, I keep the owner updated with regular messages and photos, ensuring peace of mind.

“It is a great feeling knowing that I can leave my dogs in their home where they are comfortable and having somebody I can trust to take care of them and give them attention while I am gone!!”

26. Sofia S.
“Sofia is a dog lover who has been around dogs her whole life and it shows each and every day she spends with our Bull Mastiff Harvey. We couldn't ask for a more responsible, loving person to care for Harvey when we are not there. Sofia makes sure Harvey gets lots of exercise and he totally lights up when she walks in the house.”

27. Sara B.
“Sara has been petsitting for my family for around 10 years now. Over the course of this time, she's taken care of our fish, birds, and cats. She's always been extremely reliable and is detail-oriented to ensure the needs of each pet are being met. When my family goes on vacation for days at a time, I appreciate that she spends extra time with the cats to provide them company and care. She goes the extra mile and we always feel reassured when Sara is taking care of our pets. Sara is responsible, trustworthy, and truly cares for the pets she takes care of.”

28. Sarah (Cobie) C.

“Sarah was a life saver. She came through for us for our family vacation. She was so good with my 2 girls. Now they have a new friend. Thanks for being so punctual and for spending time with my dogs. I will surely be using you again in the future!!”

29. Jasmine F.
“Jasmine was fantastic with my dogs, Millie and Mattis. We have had her come by twice for drop in visits and will definitely continue to have her come by in the future.”

30. Megan R.
“I can't say enough great things about Megan! She took amazing care of our two dogs—our energetic Lab Hunter and our moody Shih Tzu, Bella. She was incredibly attentive, making sure both dogs had plenty of exercise, playtime, and love while we were away. Megan kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which really put our minds at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a reliable and loving pet sitter. She's the best!”

31. Erik L.

“Erik made an instant connection with our cat, Gabby, when he came for a meet and greet. She immediately came up to him and it is clear that he is confident and comfortable with animals. Seeing the photos he sent during the visits gave me peace of mind while away as Gabby is used to all day companionship and I was worried about her being alone all day. He even got a really cute one with her begging for a treat and it looked like she was singing! I highly recommend Erik for any pet sitting. He also tells me he loves to take dogs for a run to give them the exercise they need.”

32. Erin V.
“Erin is amazing with dogs! I have two beagles and a fluffy cat who are all a handful and I trust her with them 100%. She is timely, patient, and so sweet to the animals. 10/10 dog and cat lovers would recommend.”

33. Alise C.

“Alise was so great!! I’ve always been very, very hesitant with using Rover but after finding Alise- she will definitely be our go to! We had a little mix up (my fault) but Alise was so sweet about it! The pups seemed super happy, well cared for and loved her! 10/10!!”

34. Kelly D.

“Kelly was wonderful! She went above and beyond my expectations. She communicated with me before, during, and after her stay with my dogs. She took great care of everything, and as a fellow Rover sitter, I appreciate your that.”

35. Riley C.

“This was our first time using Rover to find someone to come and watch our cats, and it could not have gone better. I was initially nervous to use the site and allow someone we didn't know to come into our home to check in on them. After looking through the site, I found Riley who came with some amazing reviews. I reached out to her to inquire about her availability and we exchanged a few messages about expectations. She even agreed to a complimentary meet and greet, which really made us fell better since the cats would have a chance to meet her and wouldn't be anxious when she suddenly showed up while we were out of town. The day of the meet and greet, we welcomed her to our home and she was able to meet our cats and ask us any questions she had. We also asked a few questions and then went over what we needed from her while we were gone. She was very kind and we were comfortable with her right away (and so were the boys). After our meeting, I booked the reservation. Riley was very accommodating to all our requests, even after we made the reservation. There were a couple of last minute things that came up and she was more than happy to help out. While we were gone, Riley showed up as scheduled and made sure everything was taken care of. She sent along pictures while she was there and Rover kept us updated the entire time. Knowing that Riley was taking care of everything really allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. We will definitely be reaching out again the next time we go out of town.”

36. Sara H.
About: I've owned dogs my entire life and currently have a cocker/bichon mix. She needs friends so I thought what better way to have play time for her than this! I have young children so all pups must love kids! I conveniently live 20 mins from BWI airport and very close to 97 and 100 for easy drop off. I can also arrange to pick up/drop off your pet for an additional fee. I am mostly a stay at home mom. I do some gig work here and there (uber eats, amazon flex, instacart) but that is all flexible and I can do it as I please so my availability is very open. I have a small fenced in back yard and gated deck area for outdoor play. I have a small neighborhood with sidewalks for walks. We do live in a townhouse so neighbors are super close so if your pup is an excessive barker my home may not be the best option. We can handle some barking just not all through the night or and excessive amount during the day. We have 2 cats in the home but they mostly hang out upstairs while the rest of us are on the main level.

37. Emily C.
“Emily has cared for our pets and farm regularly over the years, often for long periods of time. We have five special needs cats, alpaca, goats, and chickens. We trust Emily with our animals, and our home. Emily keeps in touch, asks questions when needed, and goes above and beyond when it comes to care and maintenance. They are knowledgeable and experienced. Animals thrive under Emily’s attention and care. Highly recommended.”

38. Olga D.
“Hi, I’m Olga’s client and she took care of my doggie when he was 6 months. The time passed and my dog now is 5 years younger old. One day, he fought with neighbor’s dog and got harmed. So, Olga was a person who administrated medicine and took him for a walk when we were working. She is amazing person and I think that she would be a perfect friend for your pet when you are busy.”

39. Jodie B.

“Jodie did a fantastic job caring for my cats while I was away on a work trip, sending me several pictures daily and being flexible with key drop off/pickup. Highly recommend!”

40. Anna-Grace D.
“Anna Grace has taken care of my cat maple every time I’ve had to go out of town. Maple is really picky with who she trusts/likes and Anna Grace is one of the few people maple is comfortable and happy around. She’s kept maple happy and healthy every time I’ve asked her to and I would highly recommend her for any cat or dog that needs extra care and love.”
